  1. Its probably goodwill PR/damage control - no-one knows what happened.
  2. From what we read Its safe to login to play games BUT ONLY THAT Its not safe to login and look at stores, buy other games, change payment methods, or login to steam website www.stea mpowered.com
  3. We are thinking about creating several unhistorical ports in shallow waters for this purpose. That will eliminate the need for large radius protection fleets from capitals.
  4. 1 yes 2 you see the list of all your ships in the home screen (but you can only access ships that are in the current port)
  5. sell your old yacht and you can redeem this one it is probably somewhere in one of your ports
  6. ships are a separate thread production buildings and improved trading are those options
  7. Hello Captains: Continuing our open development tradition http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/1350-development-priorities We would like to use this opportunity to gather your feedback on the priorities and ask you to vote for them. Here is the list of proposals - please pick one option that you think should be done first. If you feel we missed something please add your suggestions on the issues of key importance in the comments - we will pick some as wildcards
  8. If you understand it is a new player spawn point you will make a right decision. Players not able to make this right decision will be helped by us if the are consistently reported for this activity.
  9. La Tortue is not a rookie spawn. Its a free town also known as Tortuga. Mortimer town is a rookie spawn and we protect rookies . It is not allowed to camp noob towns en force. It seems that this topic http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/7955-us-players-boomsplat-and-dedo1911-pirate-toxic-behavior/#entry150427need to be readdressed again. Because not only these american players are camping a noob town against a well established international treaty, but also they use twink accounts to actually pull pirates into battle to circumvent the noob protection mechanics.
  10. Wipe is in less than a month we remember you said you waited for the reset
  11. Happy Holidays!
  12. отличная засуха надеюсь вы репортили F11 подскажите плиз от какого игрока? еще попробуйте запустить в win7 compatibility mode
  13. progression is not final and will depend on testing - we tried many things (including honor kills) and will continue to experiment a bit but in general we found that xp is easy once you learn to play. We just need to find the way to make onboarding more comfortable for new players, while still keeping the challenge.
  14. roman law system. we take it case by case and adjust the ruleset (or game code) accordingly but our view is this on attacking rookies attacking rookies in their main spawn port is not a proper behavior protection fleet allows them to escape in most cases if someone finds the way to circumvent this it should be reported on griefing there are 2 sides in battle: green (friendlies) and red (enemies) - which you can see in the Tab interface Deliberate interfering with friendlies is not allowed in any form and is against the rules. Sinking green is not allowed. To proceed further formal evidence is needed (screens or videos). Otherwise this topic will be locked and hidden.
  15. Pirates have a unique mechanic that does not exist in other nations. Pirates can attack each other! This have important consequences. Positive: If you are a small group or solo pvp player - you have maximum amount of targets as a pirate. You also can always show who is the boss by turning the verbal duel in chat into combat resolve. Negative: If you don't like backstabbing sometimes this will hurt. It is going to be harder to build a nation as well. Pirates are a complex pvp oriented group of adventurers. If you want some stability and really know who is your enemy you should choose other nations..
  17. We usually overreact when we see reports like that and in this case this happened for 2 reasons Dedo1911 was reported for potential exploiting several times He also was reported for interfering with normal combat between 2 nations Because of that it seemed that you were acting in unison. Circumventing the protection mechanic is not allowed. We would like to protect rookies of all nations at least for some time and experienced players of high military rank should avoid fighting in protected waters if this can affect players of much lower rank.
  18. В ближайшее время ничего не изменится. Пираты могут объединиться. Это обязанность наций держать их под контролем и без ресурсов. Если нации не будут оказывать противодействие пираты могут захватить города необходимые для построения экономики.
  19. Attacking a national player to bring a enemy nation player into a battle is against the rules (even if you are a pirate). This is definitely griefing and is not allowed Boomsplat has already been warned for other offenses Dedo has just served his ban for personal attacks and was warned as damage farming suspect. If no acceptable explanation will be provided I would suggest banning both from Boomsplat from chat forever for participation in seal clubbing around starting towns and banning dedo from the game for griefing and potential exploiting. Don't forget that reporting exploiters and griefers will make the game better and cleaner. We don't want them here.
  20. I think prater knows how to do it - but it will only be visible to you
  21. Beginner experience is extremely important to us. We are watching this and will adjust if everyone hates it regarding your comments 1. Traders are not worth it from the getting ranks perspective. Their BR (10) is too low to provide any meaningful victory XP. Traders act as a tutorial on how to properly tag enemies on the Open world teaching players to disable rigging and sails and intercept at proper angles. They also teach boarding basics and provide good income if you are able to capture their cargo. Suggestion: For combat experience it is much better to attack combat vessels or traders with escorts - they don't run and come right to you. 2. Admiralty does not accurately know what specific enemy you will encounter - you could face stronger forces. But you can always run and cancel the mission if it is too hard. No need to struggle fighting the snow in a yacht - it is possible to sink a snow in a yacht but you need a lot of experience to do it. Suggestion You should cancel the mission and try another one from another port - or just go hunting on the OW attacking players or NPCs who you think you can sink. 3. Orders system is new and is in development and enemy distribution could be not optimal and need tuning. On the Open world you decide who to attack - in missions you might face the superior enemy and its up to you if you want to fight it or not. You have full control.
  22. The question here is where do we stop lowering the plank. There will always be people who consider the game hard. I spent my first days in Counter Strike viewing the game through the death camera. Making it too easy will lose its appeal and will make this game just like all other.
  23. check your spam folder if you still have no key there and you bought before 21 pm kiev time yesterday please refer to this topic http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/2018-help-missing-steam-key-email-what-to-do/
