But the universe is the same, all activities from players contribute to the dynamics of the systems, and those same systems may be have influence changed and to the extreme - conquered, which doesn't happen in NA. Imagine the commotion where the Map is the same but ports get conquered... Remember in NA we have full allegiance system sandbox, ED is about reputation building sandbox.

Questions about Hostility missions
Hethwill, the Red Duke replied to Slim McSauce's question in Feature proposals and Gameplay Help Q&A
That's pretty much it. The full intention of doing it is to try to conquer a Port via Port Battle. -
Questions about Hostility missions
Hethwill, the Red Duke replied to Slim McSauce's question in Feature proposals and Gameplay Help Q&A
1. Directly No, but hostility kills count towards Hunt and Search&Destroy missions, so indirectly...yes. 2. Yes 3. What's a Raid ? -
Admiralty Ships?
Hethwill, the Red Duke replied to Capn Rocko's topic in Current Feature Improvement Suggestions
They are bought fast. But can find Frigates, Cerberus, Renomees and Surprises in less popular ports. I would suggest more that Admiralty ships ( that's shop ships and npc captures ) not able to be put on auction but only sold directly to shop - to stop the buying ALL the npc ships and put them on sale with 5x the price. Also as you say, increase the supply a bit. -

...ok... there goes the budget... thanks guys, have to add some you posted. Truth be told I like more the types of "man behind the machine" rather than about the "machine" tech itself. I am with Boiteaux, the 1600's buccaneer wars and control of west indies is very enticing for me, more than napoleonics at sea or 1812. Was also looking to this one just now

Sorry to have misinterpreted you then. I see what you mean with extra-sailing. Regarding that, my only focus is happiness in the removal of F11 debug coordinates. Then the Perk okay, i guess. Not for me. The trader tool could be replaced by "last visit" old UI. We had it already once. Having Elite Dangerous type of live market prices ? Well... if we must... As long as the ships are in the water, doing their stuff, attacking enemies and being open to attack i'm okay.

Anyone takes advantage of this season to decrease the hollow spaces in the shelves ? Amongst a few, mainly on ww1 aviation, i ordered these 2. What you getting ?

To be able to return to a port with facilities to fully repair his ship. Not to fully function as fully fit. But i get your point. No logistics, just battle. That's where me and you conflict in ideas. Age of sail for me is all about warships to protect trade, to establish power of trade, to interdict enemy trade. But I also get the appeal of having none of that and just grab a ship and go fight, sea trials galore. In 7 days of NA, not every single one of them is the same for me. Some days I go small vessels. Next day I grab super frigate. The other I go captured NPC ships. The other go patrol zone with whatever i have nearby. How to make a experience appealing to all, that's a gordian knot. Game is okay now imo. Doubloons are getting close to their reals value, and acquisition of Admiralty ships like Bellona and other similar ones is fairly straightforward and easy. In the War server, going after treasure ( doubloons ) puts you in the sea and open to enemies, and puts enemies open to you. That's how the war server works.

ALOHA+BF exploiting game mechanics..
Hethwill, the Red Duke replied to Caramon Mayer's topic in Tribunal - Трибунал
Okay, guess we reach a nice conclusion. I suggest you go out, in a nice squadron of warships and deliver "justice". Hunt them, sink them, take their ports. Less chess&tribunals, more naval action. Locked. -

Discuss the merits and shortcomings of a engagement, not the persons. This is a Tribunal, not your rowdy gun deck crew assembly. -

Yep. Simple. Enemy Player is enemy. This is more a reputation case than anything else really. -
Well now, this looks like an exciting new forum.

Clan management ideas
Hethwill, the Red Duke replied to Poryv's question in Feature proposals and Gameplay Help Q&A
Rovers share everything we capture, all share are equal. Doubloons, resources, doesn't matter. When one doesn't feel like crafting for a week at a spot, gives away most of the resources to another that is crafting, so kind of "common warehouses" as most of us craft ships, repairs, and modules and guns. Bank is fuelled by all and plundered by all, as needed. Having no ports helps a lot the money management though. Individual captured ships are given away and usually naturally distributed. And this part mounts to a lot as 50% of the fleet might be captured ships. We are small, so this is possible to do. Been working since day 1, long long ago when Rover was only an idea but the members already played together. - It is my firm belief a LOT of other clans operate this way as well. No idea, but it is my feeling. -
Go defend your nation mates. Fight alongside them. That's how you teach them, that's how I learned, fighting alongside the guys that were, and are, better than me in combat. Also, play all ships FFS... half goes up to big beats with no idea what are the weaknesses of the ships they never used and then cry they are "impossible" to fight against. Anyway, enough of this farce and offtopic. Sorry everyone.

Are you for serious !? Still remember the first time a group of pirates dismasted me completely man just for sport. The first time I got unicorned and graped to nothingness Remember even the first PB screening in a schooner, and a lot of other stuff. Been as newcomer as anyone around. So stop telling lies about veterans. They were newcomer once and did learn through practice, communication, try outs and eventually got more efficient in playing the combat game. So no, i have no clue what it is to be chased and killed a ton of times. Hell... it even happens today. It is part of the PvP part of the game. When I just want a relaxed half an hour i jump into my French chevalier in Peace server and just attack something without a care in the world.
