  7. No, you misinterpret me. I said, present facts not that you had adjusted evidence. The evidence is just a observation not to get distracted in nitpicking while gathering data.
  8. One more chance before this runs its course. Present facts and not made up evidence to support a theory. Compare raw values and true crafting expenditure time. As far as i've read there's not a single comparison regarding crafting times. - how much times does it cost to craft a Surprise ? - how much time does it cost to redeem a surprise in Admiralty ? - is it more or less than DLC 24 hours ? - how do DLC Hercules compare ( in % or integer values ) - all wods combos / all modules equipped And more. That's hard fact. Not adjusted evidence to support a theory. So, before this runs its course start gathering data, not evidence.
  9. Still in Early Access and under development. It has ups and downs and enough space to accommodate everyone and their preferred careers in the age of sail. Trader, navy officer, sea rover, and so on. It doesn't take months to build a ship of the line. A group of a half a dozen friends can build one fairly fast, less than a week, if they play a couple hours per day and dedicate the time focused to do it. Welcome and have fun. Do not let the salty fellows bite, Game is great fun.

  12. No matter how awesome it looks in my imagination ... With full free cam ( above and below waterline ) this feature is, in my opinion, pointless.
  13. Cruise frigates are now shallow waters navigators as well - Surprise, La Renommee, Cerberus.

  15. 1) It is subject to acceptance. Me disagreeing entirely with it doesn't mean it is not in game. It is and i have to play knowing it is in. 2) Could she be reviewed ? Of course she can ! Same as everything else... which i will not cease to say - Sail forces, modules and all other wonders affect ALL ships. What I get mad at is players that want to see 1 ship reduced to rubble while defending their own favorite toy not to be touched... no matter crafting or not, see 1.) .

  18. It strikes me as an absurdity to quantify "wage per hour" against time spent in a hobby. My worth per hour in the office has absolutely ZERO correlation to cash/time spent in hobbies. At the very best compare two leisure activities cost.
  19. I think I may mixing up things and not explaining them clearly. Map with the grid is perfectly fine for me for sure. With the navigation lines even and known distances between ports. Hell, I even suggested several times a system for customisation of the map for clans so annotations could be made and automatically updated to all clan members. F11 coordinates was never ever one of my things. Example: You can see F11 coordinates from inside the battle. You cannot see GPS icon from inside the battle. Hope it is a bit more clear now.
  20. Did print this one http://i.imgur.com/bTQuOiw.jpg Has a place next other maps from other games on my cave. My quirk with the coordinates is not navigation. Is pin point revenge gank setup and others less age of saily uses we, players, give to fine mechanics.
  21. Sorry. Back on it then. DLC ships... they here to stay. As i said in other threads about the Herc... needs review. But not only the Herc but everything around it and it will affect also other ships. Wind, sail force, modules... That's my take on it.
  22. I talk only for myself. Never for newguys, or everyone, or the majority or some guys or my clan. You get it. And I have no idea how many players are on, seldom i have the counter showing up so it doesn't affect my "mental state". There's always a ship to fight in the ocean. But, honestly...what do you want from the game ? Really, honestly and without flowery stuff. That's what you should post and not chasing tails. I was against so many things in game... but have to play with them - safe zones... dlc... alts... whatever...
  23. And ? Not a duelist but i won't back down from a chance encounter 1v1... Not that competitive myself, just love the game. Just now lost a npc surprise but we captured player bellona and inger. We truly play different experiences. Best of luck
  24. Some guys don't care for ECO. I did learn to accept that. Not my game, but hey... whatever. Sailing NPC captures doesn't require crafting anyway. And DLC ships has nothing to do with lengthy sails or not. I mean... guys... DLC is not going away. What part is hard to get ?
