There is nothing wrong with a 2/4 ship, that extra slot or two is not going to make your boat a god ship and if you need mods that much to make a difference in your play, well hate to say it's prob the ships captian that sucks not the boat. Just wait until they do a ship wipe and we only have 3 mod slots like they plan. I can all ready just hear all the cry babies...that forget this is an EA Alpha stage testing we are doing. You mean ALPHA. We aren't in BETA stage yet, but it's funny how many people say they will leave if there is a wipe. They have said there will be one since day one and have said it over and over nothing is for sure, other than keeping your Rank. and maybe crafting xp. Hell I kinda think one would be good to clear out these guys that abused the system or just sit on tons and tons of resources right now. Make them have to actually get the new stuff and play test instead of just going around dropping millions cause they can to buy things out.

They are unicorns. Kinda like the Spanish players on PvP2. Yah any one that bought the game through paypal. I was going to but was off on a job and by time I got back in town they went live with the STEAM EA so I didn't get one. All good points except I hate learderboards. I mean it lets folks know who are the best players and that starts to become a big "WHO HAS THE BIGGEST D&&&&" contest. That and folks will find out I'm just some average player...lol Though there are a few times I wished we had them. Ever notice the guys that like to talk the most smack in global or even battles are most the time the worse players around. So other than screen shots you can't really prove it to others. a Stat board would let folks know just how bad a player really is or just how good they are. Not to mentoin stats never tell the whole story. I know folks that are great players but they die a lot. Reaons they do is cause they get ganked alot and don't run, but they will stay and fight even if the odds area against them so a K/W ratio vs Death might not give a full story of how good they are compared to some one with really high kills but all they do is baby seal club to get that high number. So in the long run it's prob just better to not have any stats for players shown other than maybe you being able to see your own stats in game only.-

Devs have said over and over they will prob allow us to keep our Rank and Crafting level (but will have to relearn BP's). This will be when it goes live, but to be honest to test the game I think when it goes to a beta stage is when the should do the wipe to test things from scratch. Hell to be honest the really need to do one right now. There is way to many players sitting on millions and tons of mats so they don't have issues with finding stuff. Hell I bet our clan a lone has several 100 1st rates from crafting them and those we captured.

I would love to see some exploration ships added to the game. Basically ships with a little more armament than a trader but more cargo hold than warships. I would love to see some more mid job ships myself. Though when they come out with fleet cargo use I think they should stop the telporting capture ships at battles screen. People need to get that prize ship or trader back to a port to keep the goods in my book. Never understood how if you win a fight you can just teleport a ship back to your port. Prize ships should be able to capture back if you can't get them to a safe port. -

I done a lot of work in Brazil and wanted to learn Portuguese while down there. I got a basic grasp of Spanish and French so it wasn't to hard to understand a lot of the words. The problem was every one wanted to work more on there English than me learning Portuguese from them...lol Though a few of those workers did learn the hard way that just cause I couldn't speak it, didn't mean I couldn't understand it. Hell I use to be fluent in Japanese after living there for 3 years. Though after 20 something years I can barely remember a few words but I understand it every time I rent a movie enough I don't need the subtitles. I found the majority of the players will try to work with you during times like Port Battles and such. When I was playing on Roberts and before the the Aussie Server on POTBS we had a lot of Russians in the Spanish nation and they would do as best they can with keeping to English when in battles to help each other. Though TS some times was a problem cause they could maybe type it better than they could speak it. Hell we have been in a few fights with the Danes on the PvP2 server and they are mostly Chinese I believe and we can still get the basics across. Though doing trade tends to do a lot of google translations or funny conversations. -

There is one ship though that is a given out and that was the Yatch, but it's not like it's something super special. It's what just a cutter pretty much with a different skin for the most part? Hell I haven't seen one in ages for the most part. -

The problem is the guy wrote a very long review that is top of reviews that many people will see first. He got a lot of folks that don't even play the game to come over and up the review. If you say anything negative or give actual facts to counter his review he will delete your comment. Many of us a good while ago added counter points that proved his review mostly false in content and he removed all those comments. Oh and I heard some where the guy only had all those hours on PvE and didn't even play on either of the PvP servers....lol-

Thanks I swear RNG hates me. I make a ship for myself I get 2/4 exceptional. I make it for some one else they get 3/5's. Yah RNG just hates me lol Well I was going to make a new ship tonight after server reset in a new zone, just gives me reason to wait a bit to gather more resources and build more than one.

I'm with you as I like it myself. As I said recently when some folks where complaining about it in our clan TS, "Well don't let them get on your stern for a stern rake." Response was, "But I'm in a 1st rate (SOL)?" I than added, "Maybe this is why you shouldn't all just bring only first rates. There is a reason we have so many other ships to pick from. Need to have frigates to keep them off your tern and it won't be a problem." That and seems some of those that complain are getting raked while boarding. Well maybe take down the other ships before you board some one and you won't get raked.-

I have an old exceptional I kinda keep around for the hell of it that I use in my LVG/Indiman fleet when running cargo and hunting traders (with the LVG). I swear that Captain is one of the biggest morons around. I'm going to bet he's some rich nobles son I HAD to bring into my fleet to keep in good favor with them or something. Lately I been using a good stated Fine Essex I captured to escort my LVG on it's trader hunts instead. Who ever is the Captain of that ship is going places. I'm pretty sure it's one of the powder monkeys from my Sanit as he's a beast at desailing ships for me to board...lol Yah I get bored and think of some back stories for some of my ships and their captains.....long hauls at sea can do that to you.

It doesn't even have to be an exact location. Have the port that the missions are closes to bleep up red so folks know that it's going up the most in that area of the region and to go patrol that area. The problem now is that you have to patrol a whole region to find one little battle. Hell most the time we have found them from when they pop out as a group and run back to port to heal up or get more missions than finding the actual cross swords.

Congrats on finnaly getting it. I was starting to feel bad for you guys honestly as it was taking for every and that was with no resistance. Though I know we would hate it on the BRIT/US super alliance part, but never understood why alliance couldn't group up with each other in groups. Though we don't see this from the Pirate side. You do know they could join your missions on your side and help you grind that way right? That way ya'll could of took larger fleet missions or got them done faster? It's the same as us Joining the US or Brit missions but we had join the Spanish or even French side for the central map stuff to get PvP and just be a pain.

Rework Pirates (nation)

Which I don't get they are the two largest nations. They just don't under stand it was about 15-20 BLACK players (Throw in some other Pirates too) that took most of US ports and than took Brits down to one port. It's because well organized and active clans can do a lot in a game even when way out number. Though it's looking like with this next vote cycle some of the old alliances are being broken and it won't be just every one at war with the Danes and Spain (of course pirates). Which might make things lighten up a bit. We really need to see more Nation vs Nation action in game and not just every one against pirates. We figure if we stop the port battles and such maybe the nations will get board of each other and fight each other, instead it just caused more folks to roll pirate so they have some one to fight with. To be honest we have talked a lot if there was ever outlaw we would stop the nation stuff and go more like true pirates with the raid system and such. It's just until we have such a system we need to play as Nations to keep things going, but hay I'm pretty sure we are still the most hated clan on the server. Though I kinda been missing the Dutch calling me a hacker. Haven't fought with those guys in a good while.-

I actually don't mind the concept of one server while in testing stage, but it would be nice if they put the serve in a better place. I'm sorry while 140 ping isn't a deal breaker for me it's the PING SPIKES to 300-400 that hurts and it's not just me that gets them. I don't get them in the PvP2 server only on PvP1. I haven't been in a big battle on PvP1 in ages since they split it for the Mirror server, but back than the ping would spike and pretty much I couldn't tell what I was hitting or not cause of the delay. You can' follow through shots when you don't see the shots hit until a good second or two later as the ships with waves won't be in the same place. I pretty much stop showing up for any big battles and it was why I switched to PvP2. PvE and PvP1 have been down almost twice as much as PvP2 so they aren't the most stable servers. If they take the cost of the three servers and put the game on one good better hosted server than we would all see lower pings too. I play other games that run about 100 ping on there over seas servers and I rarely get the ping spikes like I do on NA. Thought I'll be honest I wouldn't be against the merger cause I'm sick of none of the Nations fighting and every one carebearing on the PvE2 server...Oh I mean PvP2.

Don't worry it's not just ya'll we get to her the, "WHERE IS THE BATTLE." All the time, at least now it's easier to look it up and there is a heads up. Though folks seem to not want to look things up unless you hold there hands and walk them through it. The problem with Morgan is ya'll took to long to get to the Port. You should of plan and got in there when the port battle flag dropped like ya'll did at Island Harbor. I do agree the system is kinda all messed up and the AI crap is getting a little to insane when your dealing with that many players. An OW battle should never be more than 25 any way, 29+ as that is all you can see on the screen means something is broken in the system. I would really love if they go back to the system where if you have fleet on you, you can't even enter the PB (even though fleets can't get in). That will cut down the abuse of using fleets to screen port battles. Many of us don't bring fleets cause it becomes a cluster BUCK and can actually harm you in a fight. Not to mention the crew hit if they get sunk and you get pulled into another battle right after it. -
Rework Pirates (nation)

Kinda nice not being locked into not being able to attack some one cause of some silly votes by other players. FREEDOM........ It would be nice if Pirates where actually hat. Privateers that can work for one nation or another at any given time but not limited to any of them. So say clan A has Letters to work with the Brits. While Clan B is working with the Spanish. Than you got DOOM and his guys just saying screw it and killing every one. Clan vs Clan within pirates can fight each other. Than say a week or two later Clan A and B are now on the French side killing Spanish and Brits. While DOOM and his guys are still just being those annoying thorns in every ones side. FREEDOM...... All honestly we are getting a lot of people switching over to Pirates on PvP2 cause none of the nations are fighting each other. US and Brits the two largest nations have been allied with each other for so long it's silly. I mean some folks like the Dutch/French/Swede Fight the Danes and the Brits fought them some too, but there really isn't any true Nation vs Nation going on. It's mainly every one trying to kill the Pirates and they are doing a very poor job of it. Remember Brit the second largest Nation was brought down to one port just in the last month by one clan of Pirates for the most part. Though until they get these National mechanics worked out Pirates are a Nation that is at war with every one and gets no alliance. Hopefully when they are happy with these mechanics they will work on some for the Pirates to be different. Until than lets all be good happy play testers and test the game.-

There is all ready a system to let those that got agro for a port battle to enter before those that don't have it. -
Dev's aren't helping when they only offer the chance to transfer to PvP1 from PvP2. If they want to make the numebers better than they should offer the transfers both ways not just one way. I started on PvP1 cause at the time it had the best population but when the population on PvP2 went up and they split EU server I came over to PvP2 and started from scratch. I think one thing that will solve a lot of this is just do a soft wipe and than no one can complain about having stuff on one server or the other. Than they can just pick which one is best for them and there friends to play on. Another thing is why is the US server even on the east coast. It should of been found a location on the west coast. That would put both servers about the same distance from each other and give the players a better ping option all around. Still don't know why they even have a PvE server, if anything that is a waste of resources right now. I though the Pacific coast thing was pretty good concept for them, sorry Devs just don't have time to make content for just one server that has the smallest population of them all. Hell they could even make PvE only zones on the game like they have with the Newbie Zone. I'm sure as big as the map is they could have a zone for those players that don't want to every get tagged and dragged into PvP. Hell PvP2 has been pretty much that cause folks just don't want to fight. So yah if we are going to do a merger lets set it for when the game switches to Beta stage and do a soft wipe to put every one on an equal playing field. Not to mention if I play a National on one server and a Pirate on another than what do I have to do when they merge? Pick on char or the other? Some of us like to play both and by having them on different servers we aren't doing cross nation alts. If you merge the servers it's going to get people to buy more accounts and have alts than they all ready do. Yah this isn't bad for your sales, but as most other games tend to have multi servers to give you options to play different faction on them.

Regional speed says "REGIONAL SPEED" Some of the combos are pretty funny. I have a capture trader right now with hull thickness for the regional bonus. Now I know why it took a few extra hits...lol
