We have decided that instead of handling this and all future cases one by one manually. It will be just better to close this opportunity completely by design.We are going to disable damage to derelicts (surrendered, or captured ships) that belong to your team. Enemies will still be able to destroy them. Thank you for the report Captain. Please continue helping us closing loopholes ruining the experience for everyone. Case locked.

Philosophical answer Well - it is the game. Once you get the max rank you just start sailing the ship you love, fighting other people at sea. For others building a country is an endgame. Or you move on. Being a paid game with no subs, we do not want to create artificial walls or chains. New ships will keep you coming back to check them out and sail something different. But we think it is ok to lose interest from time to time. -
Every ship is unique. Probably this one was made of Fir? and the previous one was live oak with build strength trait?

Impersonating the developers is not allowed. Based on your chat he just said that he will send info to the devs - sending info is done through forums using this tribunal or by filing the bug report. You can do it too. Also don't trust people who claim they know someone Regarding the whole situation. Small battle events ROE has been changed multiple times. People avoiding sinking is a known problem and can only be enforced by design (not by players or reporting). I came across several cases like this myself where both sides did not want to lose ships and had to wait for the end of the battle doing nothing chatting. Perhaps it is time to bring back harsh circle of death which forces people to fight close range by the end of the battle. We are going to fix this. -
What's new: Afk timers has been added to all servers. If the player is inactive in game for 30 mins he will be auto-kicked from the server. Bug fixes Tower target selection fixed. Towers in port battles now fire at targets even if they are partially blocked by other ships Bot deceleration bug fixed – it will reduce the number of collisions between bots and players. US server bugs with connections to instances fixed. Tuning Niagara was a new ship and some mistakes sneaked in: as a result Turn rate increased. Planking increased and its class improved (it was too weak for its class) The ship is still in testing and will be added to the game at a later stage. Its BR is still high and will be adjusted next patch (br changes require more coding so it will be done next patch.) NPC Ships of the line can now carry heavier weaponry on the stern and bow, to provide better protection against stern camping. Players will get this ability next patch. Leftovers. Group xp awards are also improved in the internal build. It needs additional checking and might be deployed on Friday (but this is not a promise). Niagara battle rating (BR) and other ship battle rating tuning will be done in the next patch

Captain! This is our promise to you. We will move the maintenance times to accommodate australian/nz prime time! But will require minor changes in the port battle availability times thus is getting a bit delayed. But we will do it as soon as possible

We are helping captains in very rare cases to revert from pirates. This only happens when a player becomes a pirate because of game bugs (our fault).

Yes New mission types are going to be added in the future. Delivery missions, convoys, epic group events (that you can stumble upon in open sea) and such.

Captains! We are deploying an emergency hot fix for the critical exploit found by the players. Servers had to be stopped before this exploit could cause damage to the community. Servers will go back online within 10-20 mins from this announcement. Special thanks to Captains Brogsitter and Konali for the reports.

EvE handles this by jump gates and jump gate queues. You are on one megashard but form the server perspective you are in Amarr server, or Jita server. When you jump through the gate you load into another subserver. I don't know yet how to implement jump gates in the open sea. -

Jodgi We have nothing to do with this, nor other players. We are not prohibiting players from having multiple forum accounts, email accounts or steam accounts - it is none of our concern whatsoever. I know a lot of players/families who use several steam accounts from one home playing same games at the same time (including naval action). I suggest you go through steam support with this issue. Not sure how we can help with this but we are willing to provide help if needed.

Important information about the new EU server.

this is coming in the near future Yes it is a new EU server farm. Performance will be the same as on the PvP One. -
Hello Captains We are deploying the new server today that will be based in Europe. To simplify things for the players on the PvP One we will copy all the data from PvP One to a new server once. Rank, Gold, Ships and assets counted at 12am 26th Jan will be copied. What this means: If you don't like the queues on PvP one you can just relog to the new EU server and have all the assets you had on the 26th Jan. What it does not mean It will only be mirrored once. So if you continue playing on another server only rank will be synchronized as usual. If you acquire a lot of new assets after 26th they will only be present on that server. Temporary name for the server: PvP 3 EU Mirror Names for servers will be changed next week. Sorry for all the confusion it might cause.

Hello Captains Due to provider problems (internal network) maintenance for the EU servers will be extended today. Estimated time is yet unknown. Affected servers PvP One EU PvP 3 EU Mirror (new server which mirrors all data from PVP One for 26th January) US servers will open at 14pm kiev time normally.

We are planning to move the maintenance time to accommodate Australian prime time. We have already mentioned it somewhere. We just cannot decide if we should move it 2 hours forward or 2 hour backward and also need to change the code to move the time blocks for assault flags.
