Right... but that's not how the other Impossible nations work. All I suggest is Pirates to be like the other Impossible nations. No more no less ( I have plenty of posts about pyracy and how they should be, this is not it. )

My suggestion has nothing to do what they were ( we could go to History board ) Has only to do with making them equal to the 3 hardcore/impossible nations. Simple. Nothing fancy.

You think . Okay. Let's recall when Impossible missions without a Capital were introduced. I am sure you remember. Kingdom of Prussia, Russian Empire and Commonwealth of Poland-Lithuania. That's when Impossible nations showed up Back then every nation had a Capital, no zones, there were no Impossible/Hardcore nations.

I get you. I don't like other guys forcefully making other fellows eat their salt. That's all outlaw battles did. Sorry bud, can't trust humans. Suggestion is all about making Pirate faction equal to Russian Empire/Commonwealth/Kingdom of Prussia. That is all. No fame, no crazy stunts.

Just a add on: - allow to see the ship details, same as it happens with a player ship. That way a player can decide if he captures the AI or not. - to balance this out, allow drop of module only if player sinks the ship - add Hunt/S&D missions for capture also - capture 5x LGV . for example. To reiterate my previous suggestion, I retract the "removal of dubloons" from warships so this sounds better: - increase traders drop of treasure IF they are not carrying shipyard resources ( so more dubloons on trade goods AI but none on traders with crafting resources ) - decreased dubloons drop from warships BUT ( as posted before ); increase the missions payout - increase dubloons drop from player kills. and - Transform the "Fleet Lost" event into a massive AI fleet - like the Spanish Silver Fleet - sailing from point A to point B - instead of just a shipwreck hunt. -

That's like... my opinion. And I am. Hitting traders always gave the best loot in the age of sail. Hitting warships gave you glory ! [chests, notes, whatever, and admiralty pay - dubloons ] ( player kills should drop more inside the hold, but this is about AI ) -

Chance of hitting a "pay ship" is nice. Not a guarantee but it is possible. They are out there. I also like that many trader AI is really worth capturing and bringing back home just for the goods to sell. This will be more evident when everyone has no cash again. Third and last has to do with the warhip AI, they should drop mostly repairs and possibly guns and less dubloons. - but - The missions rewards should be better. Sending a brave captain to engage enemy ships - many times above their pay grade - should be rewarded with nice gifts from the Admiralty. Traders should have the main trade and resources. The variety i've been finding is quite nice and the ones that have crafting resources have good mix, say coal, iron and hemp, and sometimes a coffer with dubloons. Warships to be the main targets of missions. the harder the mission the better the loot, like improved compared to what we have now. Every Hunt/S&D mission should have a requirement and difficulty reward associated. Example, kill 5x Renomees with a 6th rate should be a 4 star mission. With Mission Chest, Silver Chest, Dubloons and a Renomee Note, for example. 1 reward per star. OP Suggestion requires no further development of mechanics. Opposite to the one you push forward. I respect your idea of the outlaw battles I just will never agree with it. Back to OP. Nothing new mechanics code galore etc required. Just the release wipe.

No. No need to camp your own guys inside your own zone to have some pvp. Guess we are all better than that and can rise to the occasion. But all nations Impossible would be great ! +1... Back to pirates...

Battles closing under watch

What does sailing together in a area that is similar to a tag circle has anything to do with ships speeds ? Timer must always equal timeout to enter a battle exiting from port, exiting from another battle, logging in, etc. It can be 2 minutes or 30 minutes. Makes no difference as long as the timeouts are the same. We have to be sailing, not sitting in port nor sitting inside a battle. We went through this all and is totally the best of both worlds. -
Again. No outlaws. This is a simple suggestion with the mechanics that are in place. I wish nothing to see the same nation devour itself. Sorry man.

@Thonys and Dutch fellows, Was a good one chaps. We attacked and you answered in kind. Proper NA. You fellows have a good coast guard and the skill to boot, need to step it up to face more menacing fellows than us ragtag sea gypsies but always great to go visit you chaps now and then. Snappy salute.

I don't understand. Real case: - I own the DLC - I sail with a clan that is in Nation Prussia. I selected to sail with the flag of the free city of Hamburg. - I joined a battle on Denmark side, albeit being in another nation. - I had to use the default one for Denmark. My proposition concerns being able to have a "preferred" flag of other nations, if it happens that i enter some battle on their side. Hope it makes more clear.

That small ? For you probably. Not for me. Want a world to enjoy. With the imminent danger. -
They have no capital, they start in Shroud Cay. They have no Safe Zone around the Capital Region ( see above ). All Ports the 3 newcomers nations have ( to even access Admiralty building! ), had to be conquered. Out of my head it is those three things.

Mind you this is server "agnostic". Has nothing to do with War or Peace server. Simply put, a pirate in game imo is the self-made "man".
