  1. @Jameson BH You wouldn't move out of port with 30k players populating the west indies as game is. We would need a 1:1 scale. Lets move on... We do share the experiences we have in game in this discussion board, how different playstyles solve common issues and how problems are surpassed in different ways. We all want a solid experience, both immersion and competitive nature of gaming into a game emulating a specific period in history that brings. What we can excuse ourselves is from all of those metaphors you just used. Simply put we need not any personal sexual innuendos projected into our discussions.   2. My best guess is that at the stage when all server got wiped, and due to accounts having their redeemable stuff and so on they kept a flat build across. It is logical due to previous state of account characters synchronization, which now is non existent anymore. For sure I expect PvE and PvP servers to evolve separately. Might be wishful thinking but it is logical to happen so, PvP servers for sure does use a lot of PvE content.
  3. On PvE server for sure. I do recall Admin saying quest chains being worked on and additional mission types, so while we all love the game and we would wish it could all be done as fast as we want we must go through this new testing phase and expect more to come.

  5. If reinforcements pour in then the added security balances the possible rewards. Summing, gives up rewards in exchange for safety.

  9. For a more clear explanation: - First iteration of Outlaw Battles. It is working as per design. - Outlaw battles setup will be reviewed after more pressing game breaking issues are addressed - e.g. no UI shop glitch, rewards bugs, etc
  10. Yes, maybe you have it right. I did state a fact, it wasn't a assumption. Prices I do see in the server I play ( global ) are undercutting NPC store prices. As an assumption I'd say the profit margins, even if meeting NPC store prices are very high. So there's even more room for profit while being a arms dealer or a repairs supplier.
  11. I know exactly how expensive ships are hence why I measure risk and possible reward. Knowledge is not lost with your ship. I don't disagree with the "insane". I will vehemently disagree with the "stupid".
  12. Repairs are player made, meaning it is on the players to put the prices. Medium cannons, NPC stock, could see a small drop, I agree, but I see Longs and Carronades already being sold under NPC prices and mediums way below NPC prices. So I guess it comes down the players to regulate the prices ?
  13. Closed. This is more of a mechanics issue ( being looked on by the developers ) than a tribunal case.
  14. Given 3rd rates rigging was pretty much that of a 1st rate, sure Strong winds benefit heavy ships as much as light ships benefit the lighter ones. Storms are a fight for survival on most of them, reckon the crews would be more keen on keeping themselves safe than shooting at each other
  15. With the cannon weight mass and repairs on hold also affecting the speed, need to see if it reaches that speed. Like Teutonic says, need to test for fact.
  16. Actually with strong winds it is the smaller ships that suffer the most.

  18. Yes. Entrance in port after any battle type can possibly trigger the bug. We been tracking it. I don't have it often myself but it happens now and then. Others have it all the time.
  19. Tribunal cases rely on factual events and proof to be posted. Keep it clean to help admins and the players that brought up the case, please. Thank you.
  20. Let the trader drop sails ( at own risk ) and let the raider inspect cargo and take what he may. Pretty sure a lot of trader captains would lose some cargo but be left on their way with a portion of it. ( similar to RL some would simply be put to the sword by some less scrupulous crews )

Server to everyone managing communities threads In any case it is not untrue that one or the other, for your own organization reasons, will keep separate info respective to the server they are serving in ? A honest interrogation. Might actual be beneficial and keep everything tidy on your end. But your call of course. And if you see something out of place just give a poke.
