  1. Brits will naturally be more of a catch all for casual players being the major historical power of the day. Casual players are less apt to want to travel distances to engage in RVR....aka leave home waters. Now if you were to flip a PB on the island of Jamaica you'd see far more support than usual, the further you go out the less the casual player is willing to sail. Which is of course true in every nation, but GB being the largest it will have the largest drop off. Currently right now I would wager that you have more RVR players that are willing to play than our side of the alliance. Recent attacks and showings of numbers supports this.
  2. Those numbers are not indicative of RVR fleets. Have you seen 5 GB fleets lately? Cmon buddy, don't play stupid.

  3. And words accusing me of unfair play and glitching. I've seen other posts removed for less. I just want the street of accusations to flow both ways sir.
  4. We need the alliance system. Most nations cannot fully field a 25man PB fleet without ally assistance these days. If we don't have an alliance system we need to have the port timer system where nations could at least be protected when they are least vulnerable.

  5. Hmmm accuse an eastern alliance member....deleted instantly. Accuse a US player....stays up for a day. Curious. I have the video of a French captain doing the exact same thing in that battle. Chalk it up to a poorly designed world environment. Want to watch it?
  6. lets hope this salt doesn't carry over to the new server when everyone merges. We'll have one whining player base on it's way out, don't need to replace them
  7. To my knowledge no one from our alliance approached you about negotiations after Cumana and Puerta Plata. I did however post on yet another night flip complaint thread of yours how to stop the problem of you so wish, which promoted last weeks talks I believe. While morning flips are annoying we over here wear big boy pants and realize that it is just part of the game. If you'll be playing on both servers there will be no need of us to balance the nations and I'll get to stay US and keep my BPs. Thanks!
  8. you know, I'm currently binge watching this series. Not sure why I didn't watch it years ago. It's great
  9. THE US NATION'S OFFICIAL DIPLOMATIC RESPONSE TO THE FRENCH NATION'S DECLARATION.
  10. good times. Like attacking the bahamas around lunch time US. Who you guys kidding.
  11. If we attack at night it's called griefing. If you attack us at 15:00 or 16:00 we're gonna call that griefing too. You can choose to attack later. We can't choose to attack earlier. Common ground was found by a couple of nations, but those intent on revenge chose not to. That's fine. Please don't mistake my willingness to negotiate as a sign of the US wanting to switch gears or that we were regretful of our actions. Please keep in mind that France called that meeting to negotiate, not the US. If calling off night flips is what we have to do to keep this server intact, then so be it. Some of us are not as short sighted or selfish enough to thing that splitting up an already small player base to a special safe space server where everything is tailored to one demographic of players is actually a good thing. I know I don't speak just for myself in saying that we're glad most of you are leaving. Unfortunately getting rid of a whiney self entitled portion of the player base will likely sign the death warrant of an otherwise fun game. When you do leave the US based players will make an attempt to balance things by switching to other nations to fill the gaps. We'll give it our best attempt. Should you decide to leave and then want to come back, you will not be welcome. And now let's please leave Jeheil's thread alone.
  12. Point I'm trying to make is if there was a system currently in place I would transfer tomorrow to another nation to balance the night time players. In your post you said the US/GB alliance needs to end to spread the players throughout the zones. This is most likely impossible due to alliance mechanisms and voting. A reasonable solution to this problem would be to allow the players to move to other nations with their BPs and accumulations. While I don't necessarily agree that's it's our responsibility to balance things, this is a decent compromise. Before going through the effort of splitting servers and implementing yet another conquest system give us the option to legitimately nation change so we can balance things ourselves. Tou can go back to making content instead of constantly going in circles fixing player complaints. This game needs more content than just RVR. Sure maybe in a month we won't need BPs and certain ships, and I apologize for my wording here, but you don't have the greatest track record in terms of patch timing and flip flopping on issues. I could transfer tomorrow and then have to wait months to craft the 3 ships necessary for RVR that are of course special bp drops.
  13. Any yet all of the conquest gains in the Bahamas recently have been done at hours where the US is unable to defend itself adequately and we have to throw together pub/rag tag fleets just like you do at night. There have been multiple attacks on US ports at 9 or 10am in the morning some days, even though you have the ability to attack later. The US does not. Sometimes you win ports, sometimes you don't. Yet we are not on here constantly complaining. We signed up for a global game, this is (currently) a global game. The map has been wiped multiple times and will be wiped a couple more before release. Who cares. Last week on French TS the US & Brits were willing to stop night flips until the devs could find a better solution than splitting the server. Props to Keirrip for trying. Other than the French, your side chose to not stop the griefing and appeal to the devs to solve your problems.....to punish the Americans for playing in their timezone. Your short sightedness in making the devs put you guys on a new happy server will kill this game. None of this however belongs on Jeheil's thread. Lets take it elsewhere.
  14. I like the idea of resetting the alliances
  15. This Friday night, we had a small little nation meeting on French TS to discuss possible gentleman's agreements to how early/how late one should be able to attack and a couple of other things. While the US is willing to negotiate, it seems like there is a little too much bad blood out there and we could not all agree to some sort of deal. Props to @PIerrick de Badas for trying to set things up. A pretty good idea that did come out of the meeting I think is worth suggesting here. There needs to be some sort of tool that will allow players to Nation and/or server switch easily and without having to delete characters and remake them. I know that with the upcoming possible split that some Americans, myself included, are talking about swapping to other Nations to balance out the server. It would be a much easier sell to other players if they could swap nations with their blueprints, ships, materials and keep their original character creation date. The same goes for players on the other servers. How many more people would be playing now if it was easier to switch servers and you can take all your stuff with you? To stop abuse, make this a 1 time thing and if players want to do it again in the future they need to pay for it. Similar to World of Warcraft's server transfer option. If the devs wanted to charge something like 15bucks to swap nations/servers I know I'd pay it to get out of a shitty situation rather than quit the game. @admin made a comment the other day about the US having to change it's alliance with GB to balance things up on the server. While I agree with him that all the US based players on one side of the alliance needs to be changed, due to alliance mechanics that he and his development team setup.....it's almost impossible to switch alliances quickly or even at all if we wanted to. It takes a couple of weeks in this system to vote in and out of alliances and even if we could, I'm not sure we'd have the ability to get the majority of votes needed to swap. What is possible is getting some of the US based players to swap to other nations and serve the same purpose. So if admin wants more US based players in the Eastern Alliance, put your money where your mouth is and make it easier for us to do so. There are a lot of US players that have been with this game from the start and would prefer to keep their existing characters, start dates, BPs and materials. Make a tool that will allow players to transfer to different nations and/or servers with all of their stuff and bps.

  17. You're irrational man. You complained to me yesterday when we didn't show at a couple of port battles. You're mad now that we did show. Is there any pleasing the French? We currently do not have any agreements in the works. Only talks. The war continues.
  18. I'm confident we can come to some sort of arrangement with the people who are left. Should the influx of new players from PVP2 over stack the alliances in US/GB I know my clan and myself would have no problems swapping to another nation. Others feel the same. Our goal from here on out is to create a nice harmonious whine free server population. We also had an interesting conversation with Kerrip last night and a couple other nation diplos, including one of yours. It's still too early to tell at this point how things will turn out, but it did seem like the french at least might be having 2nd thoughts about moving elsewhere and might want to try to make things work here. This is good.
  19. So let me get this straight, and I'm using info from hethwills post. Port battle full of 25 wins. They get land grants of a sort, which is basically currency for building slots. Thus creating land owners. Landowners then get to vote and control the nation in some sort of Parliment system. Biggest land owner is the de facto ruler of the nation. So basically to gain land and resources players must then be forced into PBs to fight for their uh naval action career. This is an interesting system, but I can already see loop holes and abuse right around the corner. - This will force players in larger nations to break away and join smaller ones. Good - Players will be able to farm other nations if they come to sort of agreement. Bad - This will be incredibly complex for a new player to grasp in an already complex game. Bad - This will only ever work in a niche system with a smaller player base. Not good or bad. - This will effectively kill off casual play. You will need to be a hardcore player to compete. Bad. - Will encourage more RVR play. Good Not sure what to really make of this system @admin, but I can see it being an interesting experiment. I don' think it will work though.
  20. This is a good idea devs, make use of a portion of the map that is very seldom used. Will the areas be open to all nations to sail in and out of ? For example if someone from the US or say D-K wanted to go in there and farm fleets in relative safety?
