No it's just people who are seeing the recent numbers on the server and starting to think......maybe it's not such a good idea split everybody up.

This...... Is why you didn't get an invite to the global server TS. Do you plan on revising your declaration?

How long until the game is half price?
-
No I cannot force players to vote for something they don't want to do, aka change alliances with people they dislike. As we just saw recently in actual US elections, we're not exactly good at voting for what's in our own self interests. Not that I would actually want to force players to do that, I presented the clans with the option to switch alliances and it was soundly rejected. I'm not sure I can claim sole responsibility for the night flips, they would of happened with or without me. I can take responsibility for being one of the very few in the US council who requested that we stop hitting the danes after santa domingo every night and ease off the gas and you guys quit. That was a mistake. You're welcome to join the US.
-
I presented offers that were reasonable and realistic. Unlike switching alliances and nations. Stop attacking the US early and sail to the ports fairly like the rest of us. We would of gladly accepted. I'm not making threats, these are guarantees.
-
Keirrip has been the only nation leader of on that side that can see the forest for the trees. So I give props to him. I made an effort to see what he had to say and even so far as to commit the US nation to a deal if they agreed. Instead I got to listen to Svenno talk about how fair his side was playing as they were actively logging out infront of ports for the next days battles... I and many others have no desire to remain cordial with a group of players that are now going to cause the developers to fracture the player base and probably kill off the game in the process because they can't accept that the game is played at times when they can't be online. How selfish. Any whiff of these players staying or planning on returning and we'll stay right where we are. They went and pissed in their pool and the devs decided to make them another one while the rest of us are still swimming in their water. Don't come back, we'll clean up the mess

A letter to the King - Latest Episode (Hiatus)
Christendom replied to Jeheil's topic in National news
It's funny how no one wanted to ally with the US back when we didn't have our shit together and you had nothing to gain by helping.... Next time you guys come to recruit us don't come over with pure arrogance and say agree or else. Next time don't have clans with the reputation for using every trick in and out of the book to win. Of course we weren't going to join. I like you klooth, you can be a reasonable guy. I can't say the same for others there. At the time we were asked to switch there was just too much bad blood. -
No reason we can't have OW and lobby based matches. OW is about hunting, commerce raiding and yes ganking. Do not expect fair combat on the water. To those who want more competitive match making there can be a better lobby system. In this lobby system you use a generic ship that you're allowed to customize in the options and then you queue up. You get cosmetic rewards and titles or other dick measuring things. Make so you can queue from harbor but still shuffle around doing Econ or sailing. Best of both worlds.
-
Btw when you guys do come back we'll make sure to f11 after every night flip. That makes everything ok it seems.

Attempts were made prior to this wipe. Unfortunately due to alliance mechanics and general voting switching alliances probably would never have happened, even if we did actually want to. The Danes came to us before Christmas asking if we wanted to switch, logistically it probably wouldn't of happpened and we simply just didn't like them as allies. They came again to us a couple weeks later during the xmas bullshit and asked us to negotiate giving up night flips during the week reducing us to a weekend nation. The negotiations were very much agree or else we're gonna hit 3 ports at the same time. We don't do business like that and said F off. In response to their strong arm tactics and what we believe was acting in bad faith over the xmas truce we stopped holding back the night flips and went balls deep for a month or 2 until they quit and we slowed down. I'm a pretty reasonable guy most of the time and have been willing to negotiate for months. My terms have been the same. Give up morning flips and stop logging out under the swords and we'll stop night flips. We were told no. Multiple times The general opinion from the eastern alliance was no negotiations, US players need to leave. Well, your got what you guys wanted and now the player base will be split at perhaps the worst times. Congrats. You babies got your special server and now please live with the consequences. We are going to attempt to change up the players and alliances now because you're gone. After the amount of whining, arrogance and questionable tactics you've pretty much burned your bridge with western alliance members. You're leaving, we'll balance ourselves. We didn't before because we didn't want to be allies with you. We still don't. The moment one major RVR clan that left for the EU safe space server comes back to the global server because the grass isn't always greener.....all the players that made an effort to balance the server without you will move back to their respective home nations. We don't want you back. You guys refused to be reasonable. You wanted to log off infront of ports. Attack only when you wanted to and then cried like children with skinned knees when it was done to you. We're tired of your hypocritical bullshit. Leave and don't hello kittying come back. Adios. ps - Keirrip, you're alright.

54 people on line on Saturday/saturdaynight
Christendom replied to Sea Fox's topic in Patch Feedback and General discussions
Unfortunately I think the recent dev news is going to be too little too late. I personally don't see the game recovering it's current population base until release. -
Sorry to comment in english, but this is correct. Majority of the Brit clans will be staying on the global server for the time being, at least the ones that has contacted me. Some are waiting to see what happens with the meeting on Saturday. Both "new" servers will figure out how to distribute their players since it is the majority of the western alliance will be on the global server And the majority of the eastern alliance is leaving, leaving no opponents to fight at first. Do not be so sure. People will flock to whatever server has the highest population (more people = more content) and on paper right now the global server will have greater numbers. Everything is of course subject to change.

Did you guys use a hostility bomb?

I've seen nothing but help given to new players in US nation chat. I of course can't speak for elsewhere. I've seen people throw more ships, gold and guidance than they could possibly need, but yet still quit out of boredom and a sense of being overwhelmed. Also starting a very long grind to Rear Admiral might seem like a waste of time in a game that barely cracks 400 people online during prime time. This game starts off new players with very little assistance, zero tutorials, pretty much zero explanation of how things work and an ever changing combat system where the majority of the youtube videos out there that do have tutorials are outdated. Small wonder why they've managed to retain 2% of their 100k copies sold. If any other type of business were run like this game has been it'd be shut down already. There's no reason why they can't throw a couple hundred bucks at one of the more popular youtubers out there like @Jeheil and have them make an official Naval Action new player guide or something and have him updated it once or twice as needed. The community is a problem yes, but they aren't responsible for the current situation we're in.

If I really need to explain it to you it'd be a waste of my time.
