Chillax buddy. If you look back though your post history it's about 90% bragging about how amazing the pirates and and how you win outnumbered battles. That's great. No one cares. Just like when we pvp1 guys talk about our battles, you don't care. So let's move past the history lessons and astonishing feats. Telling you to stop bragging isn't a personal attack. So you stop telling us about these amazing pirate tactics and I won't tell you about Gorven's fireship that took out 10 frenchies at Bridgetown, No rifts are forming. Stop freaking out. So in summary. Live oak is king. It needs to be in more then just 2 regions. rediii smells. And let's hope the patch is on time.

Again, another post where the pirates are amazing. I'll put it simply. You won battles over there because they were in inferior ships and used terrible tactics. The first time you run into a seasoned PVP1 fleet regardless of nation you're going to be in for an eye opening experience. I'm not trying to belittle you. Are we better sailors? No. We are more organized. I like full competitive PBs. The game is of course not a vacuum and alll things will not be equal, but availability of resources is common sense. If I beat an opponent in a PB I want to know I won because my guys played better, not because they were in better ships. Cool?

I don't want resources in every port, I just think only 2 live oak ports along the US coast to be historically inaccurate and absurdly stupid. I think everyone can agree with that. I'd honestly prefer resources to be more abundant and the regional trims to be less spread out. I'd rather fight over a strong hull bonus than piles of wood. The toxicity will remain because we have a very small player base in a game that has limited end game content themed around fighting each other. It has nothing to do with resources. I don't think I've been called an asshole in game because the US had the pirate refit region for the better part of 6 months. I have been called one for my forum posts and ganking traders.

I've watched a few pvp2 battles. You won some of those undermanned battles because that US nation was not in all live oak SH ships, which reinforces my point. They also happen to be terrible, like really terrible. Why is it in every post you always seem to tell us how amazing the pirates are?

You're pretty angry dude. Having tested mahogany vs live oak broadside to broadside multiple times, it is significantly less tanky and more importantly it losses crew at greater rate. You will sink faster in a mahogany ship. This is a fact. I too wanted to test speed vs tankyness and didn't find the extra half a knot to be of much value in a brawl. A mahogany first rate just compounds this issue. You are taking about anecdotal sailing abilities and while true, we're not taking about how well you sail but the availability of resources. And I've beaten you several times over the months. Stop being silly

Wrong. Let's just say that due to some circumstances an already very small player base is now going to be split into two on 2 small servers. Which means that there are going to be more than a couple of nations that do not have enough RVR players to win heavily contested PBs, aka one of the only 2 live oak regions. Alliances will be turned off, so they can no longer share resources AND the devs in they're infinite wisdom are no longer going to make nation switching possible until release (which could be a year away), so realistically that very small nation will have zero live oak potential. Maybe they can use smuggler? Oh wait...isn't that going away too? I believe you were in the battle vs AHOY when they went into Port Au Prince with mostly mahogany ships vs live oak. It wasn't even close. Now if the devs were going for historical accuracy, that would be a different matter. But they aren't because southern live oak can be found from Virginia all the way to Texas. This is a video game and unfortunately historical accuracy will always need to take a backseat to game play. Virginia to Texas would at least spread the ports out and increase the chances of smaller nations to get those ports. If the aim was really to battle over ports, it should be fights over regional bonuses. Not wood. 5 strong hull ports vs 2 live oak ports. It's stupid. This is just lazy development, and that is unforgivable.

Star Wars Galaxies had a system sort of like this for hunting Jedi as a Bounty Hunter. It's honestly the most fun I've ever had in a video game. Bounties were generated on the Jedi, you hunt them down for money and if the Jedi got caught they lost experience. Something like that in NA would be a pretty good game changer.

You guys always seem to be singing a different tune after I cap one or 2 of you a fight. Can you handle the master of boarding? Maybe I'll match your 10mil and fill a ship with paints or a BP and sail around while streaming it for all 100 people on the server to watch. I can physically walk across the street and harvest my own southern live oak easier than it would be to harvest virtually.

It's a good idea and should of be done months ago. But since the EU players want it, it'll suddenly get done. That's my problem.

And somehow 1 national news forum managed to do just fine over the last year for the current 2 servers that had more than double the population of potential content creators than we do at present. The special snow flakes can make do. Im just trying to save the devs every possible second of their precious development time to get this new patch deployed so we have more than 38 people online and the EU players can finally sleep safely at night. Sorry.

Dear Keirrip, You guys got what you wanted, a nice eurocentric server where you guys can have PBs for 4 hours and then log off and have a full refreshing nights rest. It sounds delightfully boring to me, but to each his own right? You have your special safe space American free zone, go enjoy it. Now please go piss off and leave us be while we clean up the mess you guys left behind here. I sincerely hope you enjoy that server in the short time it takes for the Danes or Swedes to bully up the french nation, you and I both know it's coming, and we'll save a nice empty french nation spot right here on ole PVP Global for you when you return.
