  1. 5mins is too long. Bring back the 2min timers. I see Admin's point I guess. Trying to make OW content fun for the next couple of weeks before massive nuke to the game goes off. The only timer that needs to be fixed currently is the one where you can log in and immediately join a port battle 20 seconds later.

  2. you guys must not be seinfeld fans.
  3. I'm sure you already do. The ship wipe helped smooth things out yesterday but this has been an interesting 10 days or so, not everyone is pleased with all the changes. That said, no need to be salty. If you can't grasp the humor in the initial post then sorry. Admin is of course cordially invited to hang out on our TS during the meeting or watch the stream. Will Hethwill be in attendance?
  4. Read the entire post before criticizing. Jeheil will most likely be in attendance and will be streaming the meeting. It is not feasible or productive to get EVERYONE on TS. If Jeheil cannot be on I'll stream it.
  5. Let's end the bullshit between Davos, Comrade and Texas please. We're not interested in past transgressions.
  6. Swedish meatball-in-chief ANYWAY back on topic. If you're planning on making the educated and enlightened choice of staying on PVP Global, you're invited. @Tiargo Will of course be policing our teamspeak for any barbies and will kick them on sight.
  7. We have our own bigots over here too......KoC..........
  8. All clans/players planning on staying or moving to the fancy new global server are welcome. Not just US or Aussie time zones. And yes there will probably be complaining about dev decisions.
  9. You're not invited. Adios
  10. Also I've had some PMs about the time. We're shooting for 5pm EST time, whatever that translates into GMT. I'm not sure how the servers handle daylight savings.
  11. After the data dev gave us yesterday I think it'd be worth our effort to try and make an appeal to players to NOT just join GB or US. Be nice to not have a repeat of PVP2 over here. I know myself and most of the current US clans on PVP1 are considering swapping nations to help balance. Be nice if others do the same.
  12. Given the recent announcements over the past week by @admin I think it'd be a good idea to try and get as many of the clans/nation representatives who plan on either staying on the PVP Global server or merging into it together to try and hash out some alliance and balancing issues. It appears that there is going to be an asset wipe and with the PVE zone changes there has to be a map wipe. If the devs are going to go through with the Alliance changes, it's even more imperative we make sure the nations are about as equal as we can make it. No one likes a zerg. With the announcement that there might be chances to nation switching, this would be the time to do it. Figure by next Saturday we should HOPEFULLY have more answers from the dev team explaining a bit more about whats coming down the pipe. So....... The US Nation on PVP1-EU cordially invites all clans/nations that plan on either staying on the PVP Global server or who will be merging into the new Global Server to a Summit Meeting on US TS on April 1st at 21:00 GMT or 5pm EST. No this isn't an April Fools Joke. Meeting Agenda: Alliance balancing / Nation balancing Washing away any old salt General airing of grievances Feats of strength Dev complaining Discussing Trump's imminent impeachment Addendum - Agenda is of course subject to change pending anymore bombshells by the admin in the coming days. Addendum - 2 person per clan limit set. Please be advised this meeting will not be a history less on on who did what. Keep to the point or be removed. Clan leaders/Officers only. Preferably 2 each. If we have a large enough turn out it could prove hectic with that many reps. Any questions or observations, please post them here. Please PM if you need our TS info. Please pass this around you respective nations/clans for exposure. @Jeheil Will of course be invited to stream and/or moderate again if he is willing and still interested. @Tiargo Will be the official doorman of our TS and will kick out any Barbies trying to sneak in.
  13. One side will continue to use it regardless. It needs to be fixed through mechanics changes.
  14. Might as well make that server a lobby system

  15. About as fair as a 6 on 1, logging off in front of the swords for every battle or keeping Brit hostility fleets engaged until the battle times out. All seem to be allowed. And keeping these 6 in battle allowed us to tag a couple aggies outside Wilmington trying to log off. ?
  16. And? Wasn't this after they already called me an exploiter or whatever in the chat. Then they did the same. They didn't stop for fear of glitching. That Vic was about to flip.
  17. The key theme here Is I didn't know it would glitch. I Just wanted to get as far into the shallows as possible to waste their time, hoping that dummy in the gunboat would get close to board. And he did. I can't help bad coding. I just want to make sure accusations are treated justly on both sides of the aisle. Seems to have been some made here.
  18. So they asked for our opinion on alliances and more people have voted that they'd like to keep them. And then they announce today that they aren't going to keep them knowing that more than 50% of their users will disagree. Solid plans
  19. I intentionally tried to back up into the shallows to avoid a Vic. I didn't know it'd glitch out in the process. The Vic actually followed me and almost flipped
  20. Add erratic behavior, flip flopping on ideas and ignoring important questions.
  21. This is amusing. Let's hold off on assessing each other's abilities until we actually meet in a port battle.
  22. Frankly it's an abuse of game mechanics that was supposed to have been patched out with the current patch but was conveniently not. I find it distasteful and shows zero sport in its use. I was forced to use it once with the Trinidad port battle and it felt like I was cheating the players who were screening out of their right to defend. Defense of a port battle should not just be a 25v25 affair. Historically screening / blockading is accurate to the time period. To attack a port you had to take out the ships in front. A captain could not just log off and then log back in on the open water. The BR issue is a problem and needs fixing. I find the logging out under the swords to be the #1 reason captains are quitting the game. Not night flips.
