Batalla Puerto Gasparilla 05.03.2017

We shall see what the devs do. I'm not worried about it. Until they decide what to do, this is how you stop the night flips. Adios -
Batalla Puerto Gasparilla 05.03.2017

So here's the deal. We do not particularly want your ports or want to fight empty battles. The current round of nights flips is a direct result of the recent morning flips at 16:00 on Morgan's Bluff and Ays that you guys have been doing for the past couple weeks. We flipped islamorada a couple of times which seems to be fun in the harm back and forth target between us. Then of course you decided to move further into US territory and started flipping other regions at 11 am our time. These night flips are a direct result of that. So here's what's going to happen. You keep attacking at 16:00 when it's difficult for us to defend and we're going to attack you 01:00 when it's difficult for you to defend. Make sense? Keep attacking early or stop. Does not matter to me. Do you want to stop the night flips? That's how. - Christendom "The Sewer Rat" -
lol right? Have these people been playing the same game we have for the past few months? The population has been under 600 on average since the fine woods patch with the occasional spike in the 640s on big PB days. Night flips have been going on now for like 3 months, how do we explain the drop in players over the summer and fall months where we'd see it close to 1000 on average to nowadays 550? The game is fundamentally flawed and changing night flips by booting US players off won't change that.

We had some names on there we didn't recognize and we did know the pirates pulled in some. Hence the B team. BTW whomever I capped was in a Teak SH Stiffness Event Ship. Deserves a stern talking to.

Are current PB's too selective ?
Christendom replied to Celtiberofrog's topic in Current Feature Improvement Suggestions
We'll It'd have to be similar to the lord protectors system. PBs just won't be as big of an affair anymore. It'll be impossible to coordinate a server of 1000+ in this current system. -
US perspective. Port Au Prince Not sure about swedish steel, but we definitely felt the might of the swedish chain gang. GF guys, was nice to be in a battle that didn't have shit talking. We failed to capitalize on Amplify's fire ship splitting you up.

If we're going to quote from global lets get the whole picture. That was of course after one of your guys was bragging about us not showing up and how we're too afraid or whatever. Obvious his comment was in joke and so was mine. Please note that this was done in EU prime time and not by the Americans. I believe you guys have no showed a couple of fights when you didn't have enough. Maybe we should have a server just for Brit time zone players too? https://gyazo.com/ad547b5eb8a7237d9b2ca7aacfdbc5b6

The double savannah/santa domingo flip was a direct result of the triple flip done on Wilmington quite a while ago. Tit for tat. We haven't used that tactic since even though we keep getting double attacked outside of prime time hours. We can go on and on for days here about who wronged who. Fact of the matter is you guys use bullshit tactics, we use bullshit tactics. The only difference is we're not on the forums trying to exclude people form the server because of them. I agree with you about a mechanics change and IF this was a more populated game the 2 servers would make sense. 2 servers with a total population of what, 800? Just doesn't make sense. This is a niche game, it's never gonna have a population to keep 2 servers with alternating time zones robust. Bring back the port timers and some variation of the lord protector system and be done with. Everyone seemed to hate that system vs some of the people hate this one. Might as well make everyone unhappy. Fundamentally the problem right now is that RVR is the only form of content keeping the player base going so when things go wrong or seem unfair the player base flips out about it. If you disregard alliances for the moment and just look at the amount of players, more people means more folks on the water, more traders, more hunters....more content. At current population levels the current RVR guys will burn out, you can see it already happening and there is no real new influx of players to replace them. The only solution to keeping this game going long term is to merge the servers and hope that a release brings the population back to what it was a year ago. Splitting up the US base would be a temporary patch on a flawed game.

A larger population would have to have more PB slots and PBs would more likely be clan affairs. -
Cmon now JonSnow, you know this isn't true. We attack at night to keep our player base busy and HOPEFULLY get them a fight. We've got them a fight at Islamorada more than a couple of times, Puerto Plata, Ponce once or Twice and Savannah of course. Lets say out of 10-12 night flips we've done over the past 3-4 months you guys have no showed 2 of them. Even after saying you wouldn't show. The regions mean nothing. Now if we wanted to actually grief your side or take a region we would launch multiple attacks aimed outside of your prime time all within a short period of each other. Kinda like what you guys tried to us yesterday morning........ You attacked Wilmington, Little Harbor, Ays and Morgan's Bluff all roughly around the same time (11-12 in the Morning on a US work day) with the explicit purpose of trying to grief the US player base. Luckily we stopped 2 and managed delay a 2nd, but then again you guys were right back at it this morning trying to flip Little Harbor, Wilmington and Islamorada. At the same time. But yea, our side only does it right? Why are you guys trying to get empty port battles? Are you not looking for a fight? blah blah blah same arguments. Meanwhile there aren't 3 posts on the forums whining about the Eastern Alliance flipping a US port at 8:30 on a US sunday morning. When the US flips at off times the world starts burning. You guys do it and it's suddenly fine. get ready for some fun this week.

I'm fine being the bad guy. My tone will change when the ever to prevalent anti-US sentiment in this game stops. Trying to kick US players off "EU" servers. Check. Bigoted comments. Check. The game has been bleeding players for months well before I started shit posting and acting as the mouth of sauron. I'm not the problem.

Lol...you came over to warn the US? No you came over blowing smoke up my ass to try and get us to go night flip for your side. If we were doing this to the Brits every week and they weren't able to show up and defend I don't imagine this scenario would be playing out the same on the forums as it is now. We didn't join you guys because you simply cannot be trusted. You were willing to kick an ally to the curb to get us in (France) and you demeanor the entire time we talked was pure arrogance. 2 Weeks later you officially closed the door to any sort of negotiations possible with your bullshit "don't attack savannah during christmas or we're going to attack wilmington, but we'll attack wilmington anyway" strategy to get us to back off night flips. Luckily that campaign of yours flopped and you and the RUS fleet went retirement for a month to hide your shame. D-N has proven to be untrustworthy, arrogant, disrespectful of it's allies and willing to do whatever it takes to win ports. The US would have no problem balancing out the alliance sides, but not with you guys involved. Exploiting? Really? Do we really need to have that discussion? But you know what, you're right. The US night flipped itself into this position by seeking out content in it's prime time to keep it's players busy and now we'll be punished for it because the Devs have no idea wtf they are doing with this game. Shame on us. Shame on you guys for whining on the forums and potentially getting the Devs to take a position that will ultimately ruin the game. You think ruining the game for a significant part of an already small population is a smart move to keep an already dying game going? Probably not. You guys will have your chance to gloat for a month or 2 until the population dwindles down to nothing because instead of fixing the issues that caused 2000 people to quit this game over the past year your constant bleating like sheep forces the devs to worry about small details like night flips. The roof is on fire and you guys are worried about the furniture. Ink did say nothing is set in stone yet. So maybe the Devs will save that last bullet in their game of Russian Roulette and not choose to tank their own game quite so soon. In the meantime the US is still around and now we've got an even bigger bug up our ass. See you soon...bright and early in Danish waters!
