  1. Was Chijohn's alternative facts answer constructive enough for you?
  2. The proposal to have ports as off limits was brought up by both sides once or twice, didn't really get much traction either way.
  3. The key would be that you could defend your port initially at your chosen time. Instead of our current system where the Attacking side dictates when. If you're going to organize a non prime time flip of another region and successfully take it you deserve the right to determine when it can be attacked. For example the US going down to Santa Domingo and wins. If the timer goes back to EU time they will never hold it so what's the point. Also look past the current alliance makeup, it might not be GB and US forever. It'd be a shame for a good idea to not be taken into consideration because of politics.
  4. Well given the current state of the game no one is taking diplomacy seriously. Perhaps if things were taken significantly less serious overall in this game the inter nation banter would be considerably less toxic. At the time this post was written it was in direct response to a Spanish declaration of some sort, so anyone with half a brain would of course perceive it as a joke. Now if we want to lecture about diplomacy and its effectiveness we should not perhaps hear it from the side who's diplo track record doesn't consist of "agree or else". As I've made it crystal clear to you and the other side that I'm available for serious diplo talks should you ever desire to have them. So far you have not. The forum however is not a serious venue for these types of things and I treat it as such. This thread should of stayed old. We're done here.
  5. Then don't lose the territory the first time
  6. Yes this was a troll thread made about a month ago. Congrats
  7. Hey... at least we try attacking you guys. And At least you have me as the bigger cock ?
  8. So no 25v25 full pb attacks in the new system.
  9. How many PB attacks have you won in the new system?
  10. I do? How many attacks have you done against Baby and the RUS fleet? Zero.
  11. 1) USA win more 25v25 port battles in new system than Lord Vicious. LV not win any attacks. 2) No one cares about live oak anymore. 3) USA better than lord vicious. 4) USA still going strong 1 week after LV declares USA dead in 2-3 weeks. We're on week 2 now. 5) LV lost Castries. 6) LV loved USA 3 weeks ago before he lost castries. 7) This list is stupid. Go back into retirement please. No one cares about your 1st rate wins 6 months ago or your feud with Babay who managed to beat you.
  12. Way to necro an old post Chijohn. At least now the spanish can read what they have been found in violation of.
  13. I kinda like this. Basically if you want to attack something over an hour sail away, you're going to have to go out of your comfort zone and attack during your non-prime time. The US just can't go sail down to Santa Domingo and flip it at 2am and the Danes can't flip Wilmington at 11am on a monday. This map would presumably screw up the Dutch and French though, so maybe something other than Asian time. A caveat about this, if the US sails down to Haiti and flips a port at EU prime time and wins, that port should be put on whatever timezone the attacking side chooses. Similar to the lord protector. It doesn't make sense if you have 30 people staying up late for night ops, win a port and then have that port flipped back by the other side during your off hours. Also victory conditions could be introduced more effectively this way. Say if 90% of the regions in a zone have timers set outside of it's native time the map resets or something like that.
  14. The USA and it's horrible need of good commanders has managed to win more 25 v 25 attacks than the self anointed best commander in the game.....You. I don't think you've won a single attack yet in the new system have you? I do suppose you'd have to actually participate in an attack and not worry about your win/loss record though. It's funny how 2 weeks ago you were singing our praises on getting our act together, having good commanders and bragging about the night flips only to have your tune change when things don't go your way. Make up your mind dude. Props to the captains/commanders in all Eastern and Western Alliance groups who actually take on the risk of attacking and leading fights in this heavily defender favored system. It's not an easy meta to break and it takes a lot of guts to lead a group of guys knowing how heavily the deck is stacked in favor of the other side. It's easier for some to hide behind forum posts and talk about past victories that don't matter. Major kudos, especially over the past week. Now back to the fight videos
  15. So so views.
  16. I believe @admin said that only alts being used to directly manipulate hostility were in direct violation. Alexander was indeed joking, nothing to see here. Frivolous tribunal threads should be punished.
  17. Joining a line ship battle in a 5th rate and leaving is griefing and has been punishable via tribunal in the past. It diminishes the ability of one side or the other to orchestrate the battle properly. No one is mentioning a list. Players join battles on their own and while we prefer it to be organized, if they are in the right ship and actually stick around they can help. Leaving the battle right after it starts needs to be a reprimand that comes from the devs, not the players. I'm not exactly sure how you even think it could be the players responsibility. Find out what country he comes from via IP and send him an official mail from a moderator.
  18. Until the devs implement a way to stop this from happening it should be a tribunal post every time. Players leaving the battle immediately after joining and hurting one side or the other should be a punishable offense. It has been in the past. It's not the players responsibility to explain the finer points of how this game works to every newb player and your mention of the "inner circle" bullshit doesn't help. There's no inner circle excluding people from port battles. Just don't join a god damn 1st rate battle with a 5th rate. If this was an alt it should be punished. It it was a new player they should still be reprimanded. Neither of which is our responsibility.
  19. I think we can both agree that this seems to happen frequently and disproportionately to the GB/US/VP side. An no that's not another accusation. You are correct though, I shouldn't jump to accusations. It is however increasingly annoying having this happen. Regardless of whether or not this was an alt or a player that doesn't know what he's doing, joining a PB and then immediately should be a tribunal offense.
  20. I believe players joining the PB and then leaving immediately (which is exactly what happened) was an offense handled by tribunal at least once before. Regardless of whether or not this was an alt a player should not be joining and leaving immediately crippling one side or the other.
  21. Did he join the battle and leave just like today?
  22. Cumana PB. Not the best views. Impressive reverse into boarding job I did there at the end to make sure the weaker guy would be boarded. Not a fan of the alt joining the PB though..... cmon otherside, you're better than that.
