  1. Herc actually makes a poor boarder cause of this and many other things like moral hits for folks that stack hammocks and crew space. So remember that when you go out solo hunting with it or face some one with a bunch of crew. The deck thing isn't to bad a thing, just got to use Muskets and grenades instead to get the crew/moral down.
  2. To some it might be, this is a sand box you can't say what one does is not what another. I play all parts of the game, but some folks might want to play mainly all trade/PvE while others just only PvP. It 's the lovely thing about a sandbox game. We make our own end game content for the most part.
  3. lol dude i was only pointing out they got jumped by SANTI which is made up of a bunch of former GLORY guys. We are happy SANTI having fun too and are more active than they where in US. I have no problem with the content/contest just was pointing out how he tossed in a few other clans cause of ones actions. If we run into VCO guys we will fight them, but right now we aren't going out of our way to hunt them down cause we still have folks moving over from US and they really aren't going out of there way to get us. IF folks get us and get some kills more power to them. It's all fun and games. I'm hoping maybe I'll run across them on the weekends (I work nights so don't get much play on week days eves). @Christendom Can you update the main post with the standings of who has the most points. Some one got Warlord in the PvP zone today so I was trying to get a screen shot of who sunk him to add to the mix. We will play along in good spirit.
  4. Than take your time, but let us know, just this simple post is more imformative than we have heard in the past. I know I bug ya'll a lot about your expected patches, but it's cause you don't give updates. No one is asking for exact time it will come, but give us progresses reports so we know how it's going. Make a post once a week at the start of the week stating how things are going and that it might take a bit more time cause your working out some things or to expect it sooner than we expected. Even make suggestions on that post about what feed backs ya'll might want from the players. I know ya'll brought up having the CSR but that post kinda got dropped and never went any where. People are hungry for new things specially when we been waiting since April for the UI patches and expected to not get them in a month so being a month or two or three later is fine, just keep us informed is all. I watch this link like a hawk and get excited every time I see something goes from Dirty (ya'll just working on it) to QA stage. Just like I was hoping Monday end up being the next Econ patch, but I guess now I'll just go play some other game until the end of the month and hope to have both wraped up into one big patch. https://steamdb.info/app/311310/depots/ PS: GIVE US SOME PAINTS....I know ya'll are planing to maybe change the system, but why can't you just drop some random paints from the old system (I mean we have the lovely Eny and White Bellona Paints from NYE so we know they work) to tie us over for now? With the lovely La Requin I would love to see some of the old paints on current ships in game to give it a bit more color than every ship pretty much having the same plain look to them. PLEASE TOSS US A BONE TO SHUT US UP....lol
  5. While I think many of the books should be in the shop for PvP marks, I still think some of the rare ones should only be through Epic Events, special missions (which could be RvR or PvP missions) and such, but not just random PvE drops (cause RNG HATES ME IN THIS GAME).
  6. I been trying to get a second set of "Lord of Rings" books for my shallow water alt....freaking wind book is avoiding me like well....the wind. Would love to get him the gunnery set too, but I think getting rare books through DLC is a bad move. Though I would be all for maybe having special missions that you can do in game to get books from and such.

  9. You know there would be so much QQ going on if this happend....lol Though really I was just joking when I made it even though 2 out of 3 of our clan warehouses are in captured ports. Only our main crafting one is in safe waters now.
  10. Hell lets go hard core, if your port gets captured and it has clan warehouses in it the new Clan that owns the port gets every thing that was keep in the port after reset.
  11. The problem is the 6th rates aren't balance yet, so you should of made them both 5th rates and keep them out of PB's until they are properly balanced. Though I don't see an issue with them in DEEP water, but I do think the BR needs to be bumped up into the range of the other light frigates of close to the same guns and HP range. 120 BR maybe for both ships? This will make them tie up more BR than say if some one brings a Prince for circle control and Mortar brig protection/hunting. I know ya'll tied the cool downs to crafting, but really it's a bit to low, 36 could be a good testing ground as it's not exaclty one day or two. Actually if two ships had the same stats I would prob not buy the DLC cause I would want the one I make cause I like crafting my own ships. So if I have the choise of a Diana or Essex I would prob pick the Essex I can craft and trade between my alts and clan mates. What the point of a DLC ship if I can't give it off to some one else ones I"m done with that build or grind out for the ship. I'm always handing ships off to clan mates after I test builds out, you can't do that with DLC. Now I might still buy the DLC for certain chars I don't want to deal with crafting so all I have to do is supply the cannons and repairs. I actually like the Imported Ships concept and think it's a good way to bring more money to the game for more models and content to be added. The problem is we need to keep ti balance. You used a prefect example above, having ships with exact same stats in game that can be crafted as the ones that you can buy with DLC. There should always be a means in game to get the same ship. The problem is you stat they will be rare drops, but how rare will they be? How about making the BP's very rare drops that some folks will be able to craft (maybe very very very rare). That way there is always a way to get the same content in game without paying. Unlike your Diana/Essex example there is no other ships exactly like the Herc and Requin in game you can just craft. PB solution is just to make them both 5th rates, allow them in Shallow OW battles and boot there BR up so they cost more to bring to deep water PB's and if a ROE is effect (did like the shallow ROE) than they tie up more BR, 120 is a good start BR to play with. It can than be raised or lower. I think all Prem/imported ships while might have same stats as others like them should always have a bigger BR for it's class since they are just a click to get a new one. Also not ever one will buy DLC, some folks just want to play the game the way they bought it so it should be a meta to have special DLC ships just for PB"s. As for crafting in clan own ports. I have gotten one purple ship in 30+ ships crefted since that patch came out. That is the same odds i gotten in a non-captured port with a crafter with all crafting mods (to lower Labor cost). Clan own prots really don't seem to give an advantage to crafting or it's so small it's pointless to say that is a bonus. Why not add the AI perks to the players one for only clan owned ports that would give an edge for crafting ships out of safe zones. Some of them are crap bonus but some are nice too. I honestly think safe zones crafting should only give you BLUE ships with chance of perks only, no exceptional ships at all. This will force more crafting out of the safe zones. After you hit 1 million your basiclly paying 50% tax on the port so it's not even really helping you pay off your other none profit ports. NOt every clan and player has deep pockets so this would hurt a small clan that might own a few ports in a pocket of the map but want to keep a timer on the important ones that might have the clan warehouse or something in it. Ports need a way to hand off in nation to other clans, this is the number one way we lost most of our ports in the last few months is bad game mechanics. NO such thing as night flips if you don't have timers on a port. I think to many folks own way to many ports they shouldn't own if they can't show up to defend at all hours or put timers on them. Though a lot of ports are safe cause of retarded timers no one wants to stay up too also. One of the biggest issue is there is no reason to go attack another nations/clans ports. Just send an alt into that port to get stuff. Speaking of which when you going to open up Harbor Island I need to get some copper, but I'm not going to go across the map to Estros (which is open to all). Ya'll use to do good about having it open on weekends and such.
  12. I think the Herc is fine where it's at as we have taken them down pretty easly with non DLC ships in fights. You just have to fight smart, get them to burn repairs and than focus fire on them and they actually go down pretty fast. Now the Requien on the other hand can just turn and run if you start to hurt it unless you get them sales down. It really needs to be a 5th rate just like the Herc and I think it will end up balance it self out that way. Give some love to the Light frigates and below to balance things out. I would also double the cool down, having them with the same cool down as the Yatch is to low. I say 36 hours for the Herc and 48 for the Requin or 48 for both. That way folks won't just throw them away daily, they have to actualy stretch the ship out a day or two. I'm defently for return of paints. I would pay a few bucks for a chest of paints, but they need to be added back into game too (epic events and PB rewards maybe). I would also pay for the BP of ships like the LVG Refit (we need an Indenman refit too). Cause I want to make the ship when and where I want to not blow PvP points on them.

See I get that, but I'm trying to figure what LOCO has to do with any of this and other than Barnabus being the poor guy at the wrong place getting tagged really CSA didn't have much involved to. To me sounds like ya'lls beef would be more with SANTI (former GLORY guys), but hay it's two weeks and I hope folks post any VCO kills they get to cause I think it's only fair that it will be both sides we tally up kills on to see who lost or got the most kills out of the two groups.

  15. That is just one model of the ship. Oh look swivels on the front. I actually would of loved to see some more on the sides actually and could of removed the rear chaser for all I care, the swivles don't break the game. Swivels can easly be moved around a ship. I'm just adding this one cause of the crazy detail on the model..
  16. 3 deckers has her listed with the same guns as we have in game (24 french 8-Pounders) and with 245 crew (240 men and 5 officers). Swivels are never mention on the list cause they can be put any where so I don't see where your getting the guns are accurate/historical. The problem is with mods in game shallow ships can get super crew stack. To fix this just make it a 5th rate again so it has to use 5th rate mods and Ship knowledge rules that don't allow you to stack so much.
  17. They have a bad habit of doing this and I like to see the changes too. I honestly think they should keep them both 5th rate shallow ships. This limits them on the 4-5th rate mods and ship knowledge while shallow ships get the stronger 6-7th rate mods/ship knowledge. This will also keep them out of the PB's in the shallows but allow them into the deep water PB's to take place of some ships roles (like the Requim can fill in for Prince in deep water battles they are used for circle control/mortar brig killing). I would also make them both 100 BR. They might just do something like that but I would prefer the ships not get more crew, they should keep what is close to what they had in the REAL WORLD. The above balance of making both ships 5th rates and not able to get into shallow PB's and have a higher BR so they take up room for ROE battles would work. Thought that would mean they need to fix the Patrol Zones BR's for ROE too.
  18. Hartz when I talked to you back when you blew up and got pissed off in Nation chat and TS I told you something. "ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS." People see your and others actions and that is why you get judge so harshly. You can sweet talk all you want, but if you keep doing shady things folks are going to believe that is all your going to do. This goes with Rax and the rest of his group. No one has gone out on a witch hunt against you or any of them. It's the actions of the players that get what response they receive from the rest of the players. I'm not here on a witch hunt, but every time you talk about your alt/main in nation chat I will and have with any one else reported them. I leave that part in the Devs hands, but the funny thing is even with this post your still blabbing away talking about your French main/alt and stuff even last night. Folks see that and that is what they going to judge you on. They also seen you both with Harts (when you where still US) and Replican lead folks out to battles and be the only one to live, that sounds very fishy. I can prob dig through my logs and find a bunch of battles shots of you being the only one to live or escape, but like I said I'm not on that witch hunt and will just report you ever time you break the alt/spy rule of Nation chat.
  19. Ahh good old Chris going straight for insults when he post. Sorry fixed the names, but hay just going off what I heard that you ran cause you had a very expensive ship. Don't need to explain it to me.... As for counter rewards for VCO kills maybe we will offer something but I think most folks just enjoy killing ya'll with no incentive of a prize. You do have a habit of pissing folks off. Than again we don't have to off prizes to the whole server to do our dirty work. I'm sure we will cross paths in OW soon.   20. Well now we know why he ran with the P Frigate in the fight. I heard it was expensive so figure it was a GOLD P frig since it was like a 10 mill ship. @King of Crowns Hay look @Christendom running from fights like you always call him out about. (Sorry had to poke at this but hay it's a 10 mill ship). Think it's funny their gank fleet gets ganked in a very well known area most folks PvP in (not sure was that the zone too last night?) and he's crying cause they lost ships. Oh and once again Chris is trying to get others to do his work for him, ok so fair game what prizes do we get for every VCO ship we sink? Lets make it a fair contest. Same points for VCO kills and double for those in this fight. William Death Christendom Coraline Vodka Para Bellum Tiargo Who every gets the most points and this can be any nation as folks can gain points from sinking VCO, CSA, SANTI or LOCO (not even sure why LOCO was added wasn't in the fight, but should we add the crafting clans?) ships. The person with the most points gets the ship? I would toss in a ship for a prize but sadly RNG hates me and I get nothing but blue ships, but I can offer up the DCL content as a counter prize. You know since RNG BLOWS in this game.
  21. If your going to do something like force them into one nation than you might as well do the turn GoM instea a PvE zone.
  22. Over all that sounds more like something for NA:L but those two lines wouldn't mind if we had a port wipe every 6 months (you still keep all your stuff). Though to work it needs to be something like POTBS where it's either a set time or when some one hits so much victory points.
  23. While most folks don't care about the leader boards cause it means nothing now, but it's still stats. GB is in 5th place and has 30 ports. US is in 10th place and has 13 ports (10 being shallow). Ok you don't have enough folks to fill a US prime time port than drop the ports cause your going to loose them any way or stop bitching about it cause your still got more ports than half the nations in game. As with any nation including my own, if you can't afford timers or can't get your man power organized (don't give the BS you don't have the US prime time players, GB is still the largest nation in game) than don't blame others for taking advantage of it. It's not like ya'll are getting one ported or backed into a corner, but GB biggest problem has always been is they get to spread out and than they won't help each other out if one clan is attack on one side of the map the others on the other side ignore them. Oh and many of the ports we took from GB in the past had EU timers on so what was your excuse for not filling/defending those ports? Oh and for the record I would love to see big nations like French/Spain fight each other. No one is saying total war, but some boarder Skirmishes would be expected over one port or another. Estro's would a be a key port you expect two nations to fight over with it's location or more nations.
  24. I actually never understood the Month/Day/Year thing for the US, but than again in the miitary we would us 05JUL2018 not 07/05/2018.....so can I get it 05JUL2018 instead please?
