If you remove trader tool can you do use all a favor and put back on the map what ports can produce (buildings) and maybe major resources like we had before the wipe? I know I prob won't be the only one saying this....."I'm not going to go from port to port in a trade ship to find out where every thing is only to be ganked constantly." I'm not saying list all goods in that port bu something like This port produces Fir, Coal, Hemp and Caribbean goods.- 241 replies

We lost most of that when every one jumped to GB bandwagon. Petty much every one pulled out. Funny thing is they offered us two ports back now that they found out it’s all GB AI in that area. To late now most every one I know in US has stop playing or gone off to play other games. I know two groups of us are in two other games all last week. All honestly no no one gives a crap any more. If we take any port we get bashed on by half the server. It’s just not fun being the looser all the time when you have several nations camping your front door all the time. In fact a good number of players will be leaving US after the release cause they are tired of being stuck in the corner and beat up on all the time. -

Between my 5 chars I prob have 150 VM and a dozen or more 1st rate, but I know folks that only have one and maybe a back up so they won’t risk it. Most of the time they are set up for PVE grind not PvP fights. I think VM should be tradeable for Doubloons for the guys that like RVR but don’t want to grind tons of AI. Now that you say that I think for me it’s worse than fine woods. After 2+ years I’m honestly burned out of this game. Starting to feel about it like I did when I left WoT and came played this game full time. I brought up having some ports with a ship top limit depending on the draft of the ship. Some areas can’t support lineships but 3 or 4 th rates would be fine. I kinda miss the old PB but only cause they where 24 vs 24 most the time. Not 5-10 vs 5-10 -

You do know BLACK (@christdom can confirm this) was pretty much dead after the wipe that was why they wouldn’t fight you and again you wanted the fights on your terms. Always your terms. Yep here y’all are online at 1am stirring the pot. I’m only on cause I’m at work and it’s a slow night. Well have enough of your crap off to get some stuff done. -

And this is why you don’t get any fights back. You expect every one to jump to your schedual which is BS as we seen y’all in US or other prime times fighting full fleet. If you wanted better fights you would of put it in more prime times to get them. But instead you hide behind late night timers. We tried but it’s hard to get folks to stay up that late even in weekends so it has nothing to do with a pair of nuts or not. Most of us have family and jobs so we don’t want to stay up till 3am for port battles. yes game is dead but you asked how to get those fights. You don’t get it being a duck and crushing every one. I know WO did wxactly what BLACK did in its prime on global. The diffrence is we actually would drop ports and give them back. Than a few weeks later we go flip them for a fight. We never keep to many ports or major ports that other nations needed for Econ. -

They also bitch about RvR and out there ports in insane late times no one wants to stay up to or the few times they tried got smashed out side in hostility missions. If they wanted good fights they would have those timers in more prime times of the server not when every one is in bed. Also so there is nothing wrong with dropping ports and letting nations take them back and grow. Than maybe fight them again. If you are the ports specially key Econ ports for those nations and never give them a chance they will die off and stop playing. -

are it proves that the majority of the players aren't hard core PvPers that just want to enjoy the game and kill AI and get into random PvP once in a while. Well until they get tired of being farmed daily and just stop playing. You do know if you send the casuals to another server or some other part of the map you will have pretty much no one to farm/kill? -

Most other MMO's don't have mulit factions. THey have pretty much 2 main ones and they will have two main safe zones, one per faction. That or most MMO's are all PVE with small zones for PvP only in those zones....not the whole dang map PvP. Show me one MMO that is all PvP? And don't list off games like WoT cause those exactly aren't MMO's. The hot zones are made cause ya'll won't fight each other or go cause your PvP by stricking up hostility on main ports of other natiosn that will fight back. The hotzones are easy zones if anything where your not looking for good fights your looking for easy kills. I'm prob sitting on over 200 VM right now. I have a bunch of spare first rates so what the hell do I spend them on? They really need more things for us to spend them on or allow us to convert them to Doubloons. Meaning any one that does RvR can get Dabloons weekly just from being a Lord Portector. Giving one more means of getting them. I agree clans need more control over ports they own and we need more reason to fight over them. Right now there really isn't a reason to fight over ports, or the other problem when some nation moral is so low and they are stuck in a corner and can't get any ports back. You want to keep server numbers up you don't beat one nation to death over and over until the players stop logging in. That never encourages folks to play when they never win. @Wraith did a great survey on locations and where best to have a server. It should be on east coast US or even West Coast EU to help others get decent ping. I remember folks say ping don't matter, but all the EU's are sitting on mostly 20-30 pings cause they don't have to go across a pound connection wise. If ping didn't matter than putting the server in a better location for all players would be in the games best interest. I really don't think we will have the numebrs on release to do mulit servers. They should pick best location, make a global server, but if the numebrs get high open up extra servers like they did back when we had to Mirrour the EU server and make the PvP2 server. Which brings up my point there is more than one factor than just ping. -

I'm talking about in this thread not in game Hay now.....we do some times make the other leaderboard.....well a few have in the past lol and I do agree some stats are bad cause the encourage folks to do certian things, but still would be nice to see. I mean I have 9K hours on this char (about 1-2k is prob AFK). Would be intrested to see some of my stats even if they are from say the patch until now or after release what all I been doing on this or other chars. -

You mean May when patch 10 (May 24) came out and we had the wipe? The numbers went up cause folks came back to check out the new patch after it had been almost to an all time low crawl on both servers. Since than remember we have had a merge too so numbers right now are even lower than when that patched dropped. More like numbers started to drop cause folks where tired of the ship grind and the Unity patch was anounced but didn't drop until September 11 (Patch 11) -

I really haven't heard folks speak of a leader board, what I heard folks want is to see there own stats. LIke look at your char and see what your actual stats are. Maybe even be able to share them with others, but no one until just now or Admin actually mention leader boards. The funny thing about stats is they can tell diffrent stories, even just part or what you want some one to see by just showing part of them. This is why we have asked @admin to show us the high deaths side of these stats. Just to be fair and not name and shame (or witch hunt alt abusers) he can even black out the names, but if your going to show the top PvE and PvP kills you need to show who has the worse Death rate too and how many PvE/PvP kills they get. So Admin why aren't these stats posted yet? Can you please post the other side of the stats of the folks that have been killed the most so we can see what they average for PvP kills? -

ping can say one thing and your actual results are diffrent. If you go look at the Wappen duel Jahil and Oglav did you can see a big delay on Jahils side every time he did something. I know I can't hit board switch commands at the last second or I'll loose as they won't go through. I Have to hit them about the 2-3 sec mark. Every time I hit it at the 1 sec it doesn't go through so don't tell me it's a .138 delay when dealing with actual delay vs what ping says. Also I get lag spikes a lot in OW even though my ping never changes. Lets not even get into the delay we get using the UI before and after patch any time....buit hay at least we don't have to esc ever time we craft something cause the confirm screen takes for ever to load. -

I’m central and I get about 138-148 and while it’s not bad I can tell when I’m sniping mast or have messed up boarding commands cause of that 1/2 to 1 sec delay. Other games I played on with EU servers I get about 85-125. Though they tend to be in UK or France area. I think this does effect many US and SEA/AU players that have left the game. Jehil had great YouTube content for the game. We needed players like him to get info out about the game. safe zones did not effect the population it was low way before them mainly cause of other bad game directions (fine woods) and just folks waiting on a final game. -

That why leader boards suck, but I think most of just like to see our own stats than try to be top dog on a leader board. Still waiting to to see the highest death list to compare to how often they get PvP kills. @admin prob won’t post it cause it will show even more of the trueth. The top guys are doing all the lkilli g while the little guys get killed over and over and than you wonder why we loose so many players. -

The way I see this example with this game though is you set the game up though to expect every one to play on a pro level, when you very much explain right here not every one is going to play pro level. Try going against a bunch of pro's and see how many SOCCER games you win? When folks do nothing but loose they tend to not have fun and they stop playing...... This is why I'm asking for the high death list posted (blank out chars names if you must) cause I want to see the Ratio of Deaths vs PvP kills for the other end of the spectrem for the casuals that get farmed all the time. As we all ready see the very good players don't get killed that often. I haven't seen one mention of a player leaderboard what we would like is to see our own stats in games. That way we can maybe compare them or see how we are doing to others, not make it a >Some Object< measuring contest.... Limit repairs to only during Battle sails or slower and you will see a lot more deaths. Specially at the hands of the gankers that take out some times 6 ships. If they can't just run repair and re enter fight they will last less and won't be able to take out half a dozen ships. That is pure skill base and knowledge of game mechanics which honestly the majority of the average players don't know this. That and stacking repair mods/knowledge so they can do so. I just never understood how you can repair sales while going full speed while being chased by half a dozen or more folks right out side a capital. There are a few things that can do this, the repairs only while battle sales or slower. The fact if you have such a diffrence in ships vs broad side.....a SOL (1st rate) giving a full broad side to a light ship lets say the Herc should put it in such a shock it should be pretty much dead in water, not able to just pull away and repair. Lowering the K/D would mean they have to fix the zones that are just plan easy to farm noobs and casuals and let them have a safe place to do there thing and have fun. And no we don't want to go to the stupid PvE server. There is clearly a problem when you have K/D that high, that means there are a lot of folks getting killed and not winning and that means no fun and that means folks stop playing. If they don't have those easy hunting grounds they will have to find there fights other place whether it's PvP zones or actually forcing folks to RvR if they want fights. Fastest way to get fights with some clans/nations is to put some agro on important ports. Wait iby 2 porgammers now you mean it use to be worked on by more? Where have the others gone? I some times wonder what the hell my DLC money and money for alts went too? I hope the programmers aren't the ones doing localization cause that should be other folks that actually know the lanuage while the programmers work on more important things...Like ships through land and fixing other bugs before release? Though later a reputation system would be nice, could be a in game way to switch nations too if you don't want to use forge papers. For the casuals repairs are needed, I know a lot of folks think AI are boring and easy, but for many they are not. That cause we have learned the game and the mechanics and they just seem easy to us. Believe me there are many folks that struggle to fight AI's even in a group with other players. See it all the time when I take US players out to do hostility, than they get creamed by actually players that knows these things better than them. For them AI is a struggle. What other open world games do is instead give zones that are safe and that folks aren't forced to PvP or be farmed. You know the best way to stop such things is to not give them prime grounds to do such. The "SAFE GANK ZONES" are the biggest joke in the world, all they have done is bread more and more folks that just go for the easy kill instead of fighting each other. Not to mention how long have guys been asking for proper ROE in the PvP Zone Events? PvP should be something folks go do to have fun and fight each other, not be forced into when doing there every day events to craft and make ships/money. Yes there should be risk in this game, but the whole map shouldn't be risk. Any good game has safe zones/High Security and Danger Zones/Low Security. Something we have completly failed at doing is protecting the majority of our players. @adminYou can black out the names but can we have that same list with the most Deaths so we can compare the PvP kills that the most folks that get killed get? You need to show all the numbers not just the ones that tell one side of the story. We have no interest in the players name, but the numbers. -

Most of the skilled players get tired of loosing fights and go to other nations. Most the time to beat on the players left in the US nation for the easy kills. US is honestly a nation made up of mainly Casual players and noobs. They do have a very big rotating door of new players, but many of them get tired of being farmed to death and stop playing or go to other nations. I'm still catching guys that played the game over a year now that don't have a clue how to manual sale and get beaten to bits by AI, but some of them that is all they want, to play with AI and maybe get into some RvR/PvP on the side when they have the free time. They don't want to be forced to do it daily. Other wise if all they wanted was PvE they would be on the other server, but they don't want PvP 24/7. @Vernon Merrill Other than Drax and one or two other players I don't think any others are left from that long ago in the US. Most of the players from the last year where either new or from Global. -

5 nations farming your front door kinda kills being able to do anything. That and it seems any time the US gets a bit of a foot hold the EU nations gang bang them back into corner. I been to so many port battles that had multi nations out side screening for a nation that could handle there own to keep us out of the fight. I mean how many times have Prussians and Pirates been out side a French portbatlle or one of the other ways. We might of guy a little help once in a while from Spanish or Russian, but most the time it was to far away or out of there time zones. Hell we even have Dutch up on our coast. Toss in the rogue swedish, spanish, Russian (back when Rax was russian) and dans. Really if you want to help the US...>THE OFF THE COAST AND FIGHT SOME ONE ELSE< Or actually help them instead of helping the other nations. It doesn't seem like French needed ya'lls help all that time cause they sure aren't hurting for ports. I would add GB to that but they ran as soon as we pushed against them in the Bahamas and kinda ran when we pushed down south. US also lost some of it's very important ports at times it was hurting and never gotten them back. If some one wanted to actually help the US grow again they would pull out of any ports above Cabo Carnaval to allow them to have resources and a place to grow, but hay what do I know, only been in that nation for almost a year now. -

While some people would use the room, but what I'm talking about are the guys that farm capital and noobs/casuals. Something I have never seen you do on a whole. So wasn't talking about catching a random player or two. We are talking about the guys that spend every night killing easy targets cause they can. Guys that than complain there is no RvR while they sit side by side with others from other nations and not attack each other. Those are the guys that are bad for the game. They won't use the duel room. Duel room would more likely take off the good PvPers from the OW and leaving less to defend the average players from the hard core PvPers/Gankers/Farmers. -

Are US players leaves capital gets jumped by capital farmers, loose ships, has no fun, stops playing. That is what I hear the most by players that complain about this game. Well and a few other things I won't repeat on here for fear of being banned. I mean we did go 9 months on GLOBAL without a single admin/mod showing up every and felt kinda like the red headed step child every time a patch or something was done.........how long did it take to get port timers fixed on GLOBAL that locked out port battles in US prime time for almost 6 months? I could go on and on with reasons.....but I think I'll just go log into the other game a good number of us are playing right now in the US nation. -

Duel lobby won't stop seal/casual/noob captial camping. We need to take way the grounds they get the easy kills in and allow those players to play in safety. Force the PvPers to actually go and fight each other not force the casuals to PvP. Which they will, just let it be on there terms and not fack protected as @admin called them, "SAFE GANK ZONES" or something like that. They are jokes, they just breed the bad type of players the rack up those type of kills. All they do is farm the easy targets and not fight each other. I reconize a good number of those names as folks that I seen on the US coast in groups doing that almost nightly. -

When I use to grind heavy I would do it right before and after sever down time, same with when I do most my trade runs since I work nights and normally tend to run a SEA/AU time scheduled even though I live in the US. So it's not hard to grind a lot of AI and not get killed. I have rarely died in PvP unless it was a bad port battle. As I tend to know how to keep my chars out of bad fights or get caught doing trade runs. I mean last time i got tagged doing a trade run I demasted a Herc with a trader brig and escaped.......lol Than again I'm not exactly a noob or casual either.
