They are both 12 lb frigates. The belle has 2 more 12's but 6 less guns on top deck which are only 6 while SC is 9's. They are not suppose to be supper powerfull. The SC is basicly a repainted L'Hermione (which has a bit more armor and 32's carros on second deck) stat wise. Prob folks are saleing them cause a lot of us are full docks and or don't need small ships from notes that don't get port bonus (it drops with one of the chest). -
What they should do is have sub port tax's go to the capital port as if they are paying the Governor/Region authority. Than that would give reason why the capitals have port timers and they pay towards the kings/queens of nations. Could even have it that the sub ports have to pay the Capital even if owned by another nation. Give reason for folks to take the Capital but not the sub ports or reason to kick the other nation out of the capital port.

Sounds like you need some better friends in nation, or maybe the Faction alliance system we have been asking for on WAR server would do good on the Peace server too? That way it's not 11 nations but instead 5 factions with sub-nations that can help each other. Honestly I found that PEACE has a very every one for them self attitude compared to War server. Why did you destroy a plantation when any one in your nation could use it? I mean your allowed 30 clans on your friends list....maybe folks won't be so back stabbing and come help if you didn't have this attitude? Why should I come defend your port when your not willing to let us help you or share? When instead I can just wait until you loose the port and than take it myself if I have the bigger clan?

Any one that bought it on paypal before it was released on steam. I missed this cause I went to Brazil for a job I thought was going to take a week, ended up being more than a week and I got home on the 19-20 just after it went off Paypal and than went live on steam on the 21 st. So I think it should stay something special and not something that looses it's meaning for those that back the game before steam. Yah and WoT did this and pissed off a lot of players with the pre-order tanks (I had the medium pack with the A-32). Don't do this, leave them as special for those that backed the game pre-steam. If your going to do so than just do some slight changes and make another ship to do it that isn't the same ship. Hell when ya'll gave out the ships for the server down time I was kinda upset and would of been more happy with a gunboat than a yacht. As you remember I was kinda not happy when it was mention pandora might become a DLC. It should always stay a special ship for all the pre-release guys. Don't make the same mistakes WoT did by makign these ships not so special for those that have them. With that though I would so buy a Trade Ship DLC....hint hint hint hint -

We had a guy do it today and got it on his second try and he is an old player that just returned. I mean he was from the old days we had Durabilities on ships. He did the board first one and beat it leave crew on it and went to repair while it fought the second. The key is to board the first ship with it between you and the second ship so your not beaten up to much. Also remember to use your [...] keys for broad sides while your in boarding as you tend to kill crew while doing damage to the ships. Like you I found it very hard to demast the ships but than I'm in the states and ping does effect my aim at times compared to when we had a server close to us. The other thing I have been noticing that boarding AI seems to have gotten a bit more unforgiving. Don't know if they buffed the AI fire power or just it's the fact they always have marines, but out of the tutorial you really don't want to board AI without boarding mods or a crew advantage first. -

Think that's backwards, if your EU than you will be going to bed when most of the US is getting off work. We are behind them not in front of them (I'm 5-6 hours behind Server time). Though this is a good point, depending where OP is he might want to look at nations that has more players. Some nations lack on the US player base and some on the EU. For good all arounds it's the big four most mention: Russian, Dutch, Pirates and GB. French, Spanish and Danes tend to have mostly EU players. Sweds is smaller but does have players in both time zones. US is actually bigger than folks think, but it suffers from poor location on the map and leadership. OP let us know what all your looking for, right now kinda been slow as folks are taking breaks and waiting on more update/changes and well we are getting closer to holiday seasons too. -
Either she needs to be made faster than the Bucc and Christian with current guns, or she needs her original gun lay out of the 18 lbs in place of the 6 lbs we currently have. Though I always though the poods lay out could be added to give it something interesting. Either way this is what I would make the guns instead. Lower Deck 30 guns at 36 lb max (this will give more reason to use the french guns). Upper Deck 32 guns of 24 lbs Quarterdeck/forcastle 24 18 lbs Yes this would make it a 86 gun ship compared to it being a 82, but it still doesn't have chasers. I would still make it faster but have the worse turn rate out of all the three. I also found if you update steam through sandboxie it eventually corrects it and you can see without going back to old UI.

Small BR isn't always good too. US had a hard time getting Litttle River back cause it was held by a small group of PvPers that could fight as a team when US could screen over 35 players at the time and some times more but they could only get in there best 5-6 players which meant you loose one guy and the fight was pretty much over. Some nations should be allowed to use there numbers for certain ports. Now that port was also behind lines and a very key port, but it's no longer one that could be capture. Important ports should not have a low BR. Specially the ones that make a lot of money. Reason be you can put in your best elite 10 guys and no one would be able to beat you no matter how many screeners they bring and every one gets board and stops playing. To me honestly BR is not the issue, the issue is lack of will to fight and not being able to (for smaller nations) join up with others. That is why I'm all for the faction thing with forced alliance. I do think some ports need BR changes or like admin mention at one time have all ports of a certain BR and than make the BR go up as Tax's goes up. So a small clan can have a small none important port and defend it, but it takes the nation to defend a very important port. The other option is allow us to Adjust the BR as part of the port maintenance. You want a larger BR than you pay more for your timer. No timer you start out with a lower base BR. So have the maintenance tier with the BR for the port if you want a Timer. Also could have a BR limit for none timers.

I was wondering too. Cause if it’s a nation that doesn’t have much of a US prime time player base we can help him find one with such. US, Swede, Dutch, Russia, Pirates all have US prime time clans. Though I’m bias and would say go Dutch;) -

I still think battle sails aren't used enough in battles. People tend to keep full sails all the time balls to the wall speed. Which isn't what it's meant to be used in battle unless your running. I still like my suggestion that you only get partial repair when doing it full sails. How can you repair sails while going full sails? More than likely you would do more damage than good. Full repair effect should be during battle sails or even stopped. Other things like aim should be reduced while at full sails....and can we get the laser accurate stern guns to shoot like every thing else now? -

Kinda glade you called them out on this, they do seem to (not all them) act like this when you do or suggest anything that actually might make the game better. I'm still strong on thinking two servers is a waste and we should have them merge and have PvE zones on the one server (map is just way to big for our numbers), but the very few numbers they have cry.....US time zone still has more players online that PvE EU time zones so they are a minority of the game. I do see a lot of old PvP players on PvE cause they did not want to relevel up and RvR and such just wasn't that important to them. Give them reason to return to PvP and I'm sure many would. With all that though I do think a PvE only server should not have PvP of any type. One way you can solve this on both servers is to make a flag/tag that a player can have active or not. simply CLICK box if you want Loki Battles. Than now folks that want to have this interesting new part of the game can have it or not. I have yet to have some one join the little few battles I done on PvP so far but waiting for such to happen. PS: Isn't AI toned down on PvE server? I always hear folks say they are way easier on that server compared to PvP? -
Well you brought a fleet of first rates into a 4th rate port. Shallows you get 6, 6th rate ships. 4th rate ports you get 6 4th rates and 1st rate ports you get 6 1st rates. That is how it is when you fight a neutral port on PvE so I'm going to assume it's the same. As for raids no clue what they are going to be like as I keep missing all them as they have been in EU time zone not US for my nation so far, but than that is what most our timers are. Might try to catch one over the weekend when I can be on if there are any.

He used the word THEY like he's part of a group, what I didn't see was any mention of them going out as groups. Just solo traders and such getting sunk. Maybe if they are in a clan they should play as a clan. My clan tries to grind in a group when we can, but if we go out solo we expect to get ganked and don't bring our best stuff. Fight Smarter not harder.....

Your playing an open world MMO, there is no consensual only PvP on the war server as any one can jump into your battle or tag you on the open world. Honestly this is why I love what SC is doing, 80% NPC AI and 10% players is the goal and you don't know what is AI or player, it's all the same. Hell aren't you in the Pirate nation which is suppose to be the most hard core nation other than the imposiible nations? If you wanted to farm PvE you picked the wrong nation for that. I do know that both parties gets credit for the kills on there PvP hunt missions if they sink the players. And remeber that when aggresive AI comes, it shouldn't matter all ships should be treated as players/AI....or better ENEMY's of your nation. I some times think folks forget that War is a PvE/PvP server (thought most forget the PvE part). While Peace is the PvE only server. War has it all...pretty much. -

Many released games have added new content after release. Release just means all the core mechanics are done and aren't going to be changed. Nothing about the core mechanics was changed. Hell the only thing they did was added more content. Something the game needs. I mean I'll use a prime big example of how games changed over time from original....just look at WoW and how much different it was from the start that they actually came back with WoW Classic cause of all the changes. Not that I ever played WoW but it's just an example to show how games do change after release. So exactly what isn't what you bought? The core rules and mechanics is still a Naval age of sailing MMO sandbox? As much as I don't like some of the things the dev teams do at times, that still hasn't changed. Now if I can just get this stupid graphical stutter in my game to stop or figured out I'll be a happy camper....... -
I'm suprised some one hasn't pointed out the 24 kills by BL4CK and the PvP KD is 24.....hmmmmmm some one been killing there alts? Maybe its just bad data or something?

One of our guys boarded some one right when they where expecting him to sink and loot. He also found out that the forts/towers shoot at you as if your a player. So watch out for that if they start shooting at an AI.....that is not an AI...lol. -

I noticed a big trend of solo players wanting every thing else that clans and big groups have and with little to no effort. Solo just means it's going to be longer for you to get what groups get or cost more. It's also means you won't get the group play stuff unless you pay a group to do the content for you. Just like any other game you don't get the reward for a Raid big fight unless you do that content yourself or pay some one to do it. This game was never designed for solos only, if you want to do stuff alone it will take longer and prob cost you more. This game has always been about the group/clan/nation play not the solo.
