You can look at the ship flag. Misfire on friendlies are very possible. Warnings are possible, but there are no warnings now. Trolling will be handled by reputation and kickvoting.

boarding will be similar to sea combat in Sunless sea. Commander skills, crew.. it wont be visual - only command based.

There could be command flags, but most people won't look at them We will make some kind of fleet commander messages system. -
well. being content complete will not save a game if it is bad.. if the game is a uncut gem some players will love seeing it early in rough form. We plan to release as soon as we can in the early access form after UI is improved, boarding added and basic RPG (progression) is in place.

on sails its hard currently.. unity shaders are lacking in some areas. maybe unity5 will solve this the dilemma currently is this - they are either animated (luffing etc) OR they don't accept light and look like shit OR they eat GPU and CPU as cloth making 25 v 25 just impossible ballast agree. even though captain determined how ballast was placed (for trimming purposes) it was not usually done during battle

Ink's video is based on the old testing build. It had exaggerated stationary turning speed. + if consider the positions of sails in relation to the wind logically - we see no logical flaws in it. Backward pressure provides the correct vector of force + turns the ship in the right direction. He uses that logic to make a turn while stationary.

пока мало информации для такого решения склоняемся пока к тому что все таки перезарядка в среднем по больнице не зависит от наклона.. пушки одинаково тяжело тащить в обе стороны (угол идентичен) в приведенном примере красная эскадра имеет суммарный штраф по дальности приблизительно в 200-300 метров (учитывая бонус зеленых к дальности). У виктори наклон меньше чем у фрегатов - у средних фрегатов наклон до 15% что составит 30% разницы при таком ветре (синяя стрелка) или 300 метров при средней дальности 1км. в приведенном примере красные наклонены влево и при расстоянии между эскадрами в 800+ метров даже не попадают по зеленому - в то время как зеленые ведут огонь.

в принципе хитпоинтов в игре и сейчас нет как таковых (смотря как назвать конечно) корабль тонет если вода набирается в трюм быстрее чем ее откачивают помпы. то есть теоретически если в будущем все слоты потратить на помпы - корабль сможет оставаться на плаву без бортов (и соответственно без пушек и команды). по парусам вопрос сложный и мы склоняемся к тому, чтобы все таки перевести ремонт парусов на скил (пока думаем) - так как геймплей и фан важнее и остаться в самом начале боя без мачт на кирпиче Сантисиме будет крайне грустно. В текущем тесте очевидно что при снесенных мачтах корабль при любом уровне опыта игрока превратиться в легкую добычу.

созданием преимуществ и недостатков. 1) Суда уже повреждаются от столкновений. от падения мачты у рядом стоящего нет. 2) если сможем красиво сделать пожары то скорее всего да. 3) пока неизвестно.

по началу закроем дыры. а именно На каждые 2-10 пушек будет корабль (как например 32 36 38пушечные средние фрегаты) Ранги кораблей (от 1ого до 7ого) будут представлены стандартными (как фрегат) и уникальными (как сюрприз) моделями Но мы все таки решили позаимствовать фичу из старых добрых корсаров - которая делала каждый корабль уникальным. Каждый корабль будет иметь скрытые характеристики некоторые из которых можно будет раскрыть только походив на нем какое то время. И продав проходной корабль мы можете никогда не узнать что он имел уникальный бонус.

The effects make the video look dirty.. especially those film holes on the sides.. they make it a lot worse. music choice will make it most likely banned in many grounds for use of unlicensed music. it will be open initially but then youtube will catch up. To save it you could take off the film effect on the sides.. and just leave the game battle sounds. It will actually improve for many people who for example don't like singer axel rose))

We love it when you guys ask for realism in detailed sailor sock placement management, yet start crying when you can't see enemy flag from 2 km away in dense fog. It's exactly how it was in real life. In dense fog you could not see what ship was that and had to guess it or go there and investigate. Go scout.. if you are not sure - run from battle, but remember Admiral Bing got executed for running.- 829 replies
