1. True to an extent, but it only can be fully solved if we eliminate damage XP and start awarding XP only for sinking enemies (kill and assist XP). In this case people will have to work together to get the victory or kill/assist. This on the other hand creates a huge problem for unexperienced players - who will never be able to level up and will stay in light ships forever until they learn to play or leave the game. But we are listening and if this becomes a bigger problem we will fix it. In addition to that eventually people realize the money are not a problem in this game and will stop trying to steal the target because it is just not worth it. You will see this if you join a organized group or just experience battles on the higher levels. 2. As i said before - we don't consider it grind. You gain rank for your accomplishments in battle. You have to earn ships and replace them if you sink. If there is no sense of loss - the feeling of victory will also feel smaller. 3. We tried to replicate the battles from the Age of Sail. Battles that deteriorate into smaller engagements - melee according to the best examples from the 18 and 19th century. In most cases they re-create what happened and what was possible at that time. What you say is true to an extent. If you are demasted it is basically a way to go down. But before that battles can be turned around in PvP. If you are good at raking you can severely diminish enemy capabilities. But with NPCs it is impossible to make it harder without adding bots extra special abilities. Many people still say bots are too hard. -

We have seen this all before Captain. Most captains start at this point of view and then later move on to saying that it is too easy. Remember that you are not grinding for anything. You don't have to. I personally enjoy lower level ships and shallow waters allow me to avoid higher level vessels (there are shallow water port battles as well). I personally hate the word grind - you are actually earning rank as all captains in the age of sail. Nelson sailed for 30 years starting from cabin boy and had to serve on i think 28 vessels before commandeering HMS Victory. He did not call it a grind. We don't have 100 levels like other games and you just have to pass through 10 ranks. It is more or less equal on every level and you start getting more and more xp per battle once you start sailing the bigger ships (more cannons = more damage). Tips to solve your problem are simple Upgrade the guns and ships as soon as possible Capture enemy traders - they give from 20 to 100k worth of loot Find a group to join - they need you and they will help you. You will see a lot more in this game as a result. -
Due to advanced in technological research caused by constant shortages in iron industry have learnt to extract a lot more iron from ore during forging. наоборот вы просто не попробовали придти в квестовую зону врагов есть пара мест где шикарное нон стоп пвп на заходах в квесты к врагам

Необходимо принять совместное решение по миссиям и возможности входа в них врагам и друзьям Проблема Вход в миссии был открыт для всех изза того что пвп игроки стали использовать миссии чтобы уходить от погонь. Группа 6 человек могла взять 18 приказов в районе пвп действий и получала сеть из безопасных мест где вся группа могла прятаться. Открытие мисиий решило это проблему но создало другую Заходя в миссии к вам ваши национальные друзья иногда мешали убивая вашу цель (выполняя ваш квест) но снижая экспу за урон, или забирая корабль. Мы можем открывать вход в мисиии только вашей группе - но тогда создается проблема что если в миссию зашли враги вам никто не сможет помочь. В результате наше предложение оставить все как есть и повысить награды за миссию и поднять экспу. Hello Captains We plan to deliver the following fixes before moving to content production and new ships. 1) XP and changing nations We have encountered a lot of problems and confusion with the current system - we plan to add a temporary workaround that will solve the confusion and will provide more flexibility (while keeping the same 1 server - 1 player rule) How it will work You XP will be tied to your Steam account You will still have one account per server But your player name or nation will not be synchronized. This will allow you to freely experiment and will allow to switch nation if you are unsatisfied with your current choice. But you will still have 1 player on the server and this will reduce spying and other high level problems. Deleting a character will delete everything except for XP. 2) Better PvP XP rewards 3) Entering missions as a friendly - needs to be addressed in a separate topic: http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/9566-entry-to-missions-your-opinion-needed/ 4) Additional warnings when attacking a friendly (too many people were becoming pirates by mistake) 5) Several potential exploits closed 6) Number of NPC fleets near capitals will be reduced significantly to reduce pulling into battles. Those bot routes will be reallocated to free towns and regional centers. 7) Additional minor bug fixes and changes.

Some day guys - some day. Once land gets into battles we will finally be able to determine how much resources we have left and then we can go wild with debris but no ETA on this yet.

Commandant rank was used for some time. We have decided to use it as well. But if the majority of players propose changes it is very easy to change the names a bit. -

You have to catch the prey first. If you cannot catch the prey it is your fault. Get a faster ship and attack with proper intercept course. Some people will run from you even if they are in a bigger ship. You have to catch them DESPITE the fact they are running. Nelson was chasing Spanish-franco fleet for like 3 months or something and they still tried to escape to cadiz. And stop attacking the game community for trying to help you.

guys we promised the maintenance time will be moved to accomodate australia/nz just hold on for a bit more please - we need to rewrite some code around the assault flags mechanics which are going to be affected by the maintenance time move.

Current design is a leftover design from the Trafalgar battles for the established Gentlemen. Brief history of the circle of death. First there were no circle of death and everybody ran Circle of death was created and people started fighting but not enough Circle of death became fast and small by the end of the battle ( sinking almost everyone who tried to troll or run away) Then players transcended to Nirvana Age of enlightenment started Circle of death was increased Circle of death was stopped We almost disabled circle of death .... Now we have to go back to cave times. Fast, small and deadly circle of death or perhaps exit timers. We are already fixing this Captain. It will get into the game in the next big patch. Meanwhile fight in OW where you have 2 min exit timers. ps. it is more fun in the open world - the real hunt. -
ps. Henry Morgan captured how many .. 14 towns? If i was him i would leave all those towns including Havana for myself. And fight the brits like the founding fathers. Nations should eliminate piracy not by voting, but by fighting. Crush their ports, drive them before you, capture their resources, and hear lamentations of their leaders in chat. Voting is a more modern mechanic. In the age of sail you could settle a dispute just by sticking the sword in the enemy's eye. Capture all pirate ports and they will sail brigs and cerberuses, as you cannot craft from Mortimer town only

If you followed the instructions in 2 topics, 3 if you count pre-release announcement (also sent in the email to all pre-order buyers) you should have received them. Our misspoken obligation to deliver ships to all accounts created by end of weekend was fulfilled. veteran testers will receive special rewards by other means.
