Btw this is a good point)) we have not thought of that when we did the change but its not important at this stage. Cost wise pirate perk is strangely more expensive and it should be changed. But this is not a blatant mistake. It is just a mistake. People who work make mistakes all the time. The only point is that mistake does not matter - honestly. Have some Maderai wine which is also in game . -

Regarding the ships.. just teleport them of your choice in a quiet time (using enemy light npc traders). Send the assets using deliveries to an outpost near a new place you want to operate around. Or just teleport to capital Remember that the map was reset just now. Don't worry. I guarantee that in several weeks it will most likely look like it looked before the reset. Also advance warning. Map might be reset again at least 1 time.

But lets see - system is new and like many other things that are just born.. could be generating some ****. Its better than assault flag now anyway. As cannot be abused by an insta buy and place and still requires some effort and involves risk. Also remember about the lord protectors - we kept that option open in patch notes.

Forgot to mention (thanks oldcrankyman for reminder) We thought for a very long time of a system that will allow us to identify alts who are exploiting hostility mechanics Some systems involved counting surrenders and limiting surrenders after a certain limit, other systems were based on damage vs kills vs kills in other ares. Many ideas were discussed but they all affected normal players in one or another way.. After careful deliberations we did not want to limit gameplay of normal players (because all systems and limitations will limit normal people in some or another way). So we have decided to just ban the bastards. So the new rule starting now is. For the period of testing until release using alts to generating hostility is a bannable offence. Report a person who is an alt or was an alt Report a port that he was helping to get hostility on His account will be investigated and if he is found to be exploiting the mechanics he will get banned from the game until release. His most active trading partner accounts will also be investigated and might be cleared from assets if they are his only trading partners. Report the alts to any mods (especially Ink) and here in the tribunal. Identify potential time of the abuse, name, nation, region name. If you have screenshots it will speed up the things. Clarification. By abuse we mean directly generating hostility for the enemy by means of sinking or surrendering. Other methods of abuse could also happen and will be reviewed separately Economic warfare and spying by alts is allowed. Remember that lose lips can lose ships.

I nerfed them because i don't like upgrades having more value than a ship, i dont like that upgraded ship changes completely. And most importantly a lot of players also don't like it and helped me to understand that. It's a paradigm shift and you will get used to it. And its a good thing. We remember you posted similar statements about repair upgrades when they were nerfed in summer. And similar statements about press gang. So no reason to exaggerate and name names. Now.. when you leave good constructive critical post don't spoil it by talking about people with statements you cannot prove. I PvP a lot and I talk to people who pvp a lot (mostly danes, pirates and dutch) we are in direct voice contact on a weekly basis with several teams who got to the semis and we constantly talk to several clans who we trust (respected community members in their nations). So please refrain from qualitative statements talking about people, devs, mods and such. Keep the structure and content that is very useful. And open development means updating and testing LIVE. Get used to this. You see both good things and bad things. Its just faster this way and will only change after release. -
Well we found the problem with BR modifiers and fixed. 100 pts for kill was multiplied by ship rating and turned into 600-800 pts. we finally settled on old 100/50 number it should be better now. 3-4x slower than yesterday but possible to flip with organized unopposed effort in 4 hours. it will be deployed tomorrow.

those numbers are already irrelevant New numbers 200 pts for kill 100 pts for pve kill for the next couple of days. these numbers will be deployed tomorrow also some time in the future we will add difference for shallow water and deep water ports. Currently it is the same but it is wrong.

i have the wrong numbers in the notes New hostility point generation will work like this Points for kill 200 Point for pve kill 100 These point will let several organized group to get the region to the hostility state in approximately 4 hours non stop or 1 hour per several days if unopposed. If opposed generation can be very fast if you sink enemies in pvp We will reduce the daily hostility drop by 50% to allow more hostility to move to next day. (currently 24%) These numbers are NOT final and will pass several iterations over several days or weeks.

The goal is to allow several fleets across multiple timezones to raise the hostility to port battle in 1 day or 2. Yesterday shown that organized effort can flip the port in 2 hours. Which is too fast. The tuning will take a week or two. Remember that there will be a map reset before release and additional resets might be required. In regards of 5 defensive battles per day we can control this by changing 3 things 1) Port battles per nation per day (currently 2) 2) Hostility per nation (currently 3) 3) Speed of hostility generation (which slows down things or speeds them up in itself). The speed of conquest can be reduced or increased by using those parameters. Underpopulated nations must ally with someone otherwise they will struggle. Naval Action conquest IS a war-game and there will be winners and losers. PVE server solves the problem with the static conquest. Some resource adjustments will also be done if needed.

would like to comment on this. you can't craft extra labor hours unfortunately. But you can convert your labor hours to notes and sell them if you don't need yours. We are thinking about adding extra labor hours to everyone in a nation if they control the region with extra labor. -
