  1. its fixed in dev version will be deployed in the content patch
  2. Thats the problem with all open deck ships. Mercury, Niagara, Lynx. You can kill all crew with just one broadside on a heeling Lynx (even when using basic cutter). What is probably needed is Brace button Click a button - your crew stops doing whatever it is doing (for 1 min) acting as a crew shock. But you receive a lot less crew damage.
  3. In reality Lineships did not even fire at frigates unless fired upon - even in heated engagements.. It was a honored tradition in all navies. And lineships sailed alone from time to time. (but mostly 3rd rates). What is probably wrong and needs improvement is 3rd 4th rates performances. They should turn better and maybe even sail better. ships?
  4. After the fight yes. And it is already provided by a doctor perk - most of your casualties come back to fight. But we don't think crew should come back during battle itself.
  5. You cannot recover crew. Thats the main game factor. You can recover some sails, or some integrity of planking. But you cannot recover crew.
  6. all assets including holds
  7. На выставки ездить только время терять. До изменения интерфейса активной рекламной работы вести не планируем
  8. well i would like to clarify grape = antipersonnel shot. We decided against providing multiple types of anti-personell shots because of multiple reasons (fake features, not enough difference, clarity). Thus it does not matter if it is canister or grape or langridge or how you call it. It was an original decision from the Sea trials and if we will see the benefits of providing an extra type of antipersonnel shot we will happily to it. But from the game perspective we are not sure if 3 types of antipersonnel shot will drastically improve the gameplay. Some of them will be more powerful than the others and players will only use the most powerful one.
  9. testing shown that it won't be huge also we will switch off BR checks for AI

  10. we don't know the date yet once we know - we will of course post it in advance.
  11. well - the question is - is it a good thing or a bad thing?
  12. The intact hull does not let it through. The severely damaged one has a lot of holes in it and is structurally weaker. Thus due to sheer volume of grape balls some get in even through hull. They don't get in if you shoot at angle. If your angle of grape fire is above 30 degrees they won't get in.
  13. вчера тоже был в с 19-00 до 23? или уже уехал?
  14. You don't have to remove stern armor if you can aim directly at windows. Perhaps its just a lack of knowledge of the system ?
  15. hahah My question to the community in 2013 July!!! http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/108-boats-during-battle Love open development
  16. Crew was usually assigned to stations and leaving the station without permission was punishable by death. Also show me a vehicle fighting game with dynamic hotboxes that move inside the vehicle.. No splinter damage? It is there. Constitution lost only 9 men dead during the long battle with HMS Java (including 4 who died after the battle from wounds). You can kill 9 men when fighting constitution in our game and they WILL die from splinters. No lifeboats? Everything obstructing the deck was thrown out. Boats too (sometimes they were tied by ropes behind the stern), but in many cases they were just thrown out. Weird surrender? What? You surrender when you surrender. There is nothing weird when you make this choice as a captain. Please factcheck before you post here. Otherwise your posts will be very much ignored by the community.
  17. we discussed the following idea internally provide a reset button for veterans allowing to fully reset their experience to 0 and start again gaining veterans level (legacy).
  18. Named bots in most games are usually made artificially stronger.
  19. я по этой картинке не понял - небо чистое вроде или опять шторм?
  20. can you make a screenshot plz?
  21. проверим
  22. yes
  23. well - the thing with cannons is that they are there.. they fire .. you see them. particles come out of the barrel etc.. they connect
  24. i does not work without the models.. does not connect in the brain)) it just feels like you sailed into some AOE zone and your crew started feel sick dropping like flies)) its already done btw.. but for some reason plays weird.
  25. We believe morale has no place in naval action. Player should be able to fight until he wants to stop. Systems making such decisions will make a lot of mistakes and impossible to tune until some other systems are taken out. For example. Warning shot from a 74 will force your light frigate to surrender, just because system thinks your morale dropped due to a presence of the overwhelming force and low probability of victory ignoring player skill and situation. Impossible to tune and if you tune those systems they will end up with morale having no effect on anything. Morale will work well in a grand admiral type of game where player commands a grand fleet and has no effect on anything except for general direction of squadrons (but squadrons decide everything else based on unit stats and RNG).
