0 income is a result of 0 trade. If people traded in that port - profit would be higher. Some ports are useless like coastal fishing villages. Conquest will circle around profitable ports just like the real life. regarding ai Market trade is fully player driven; AI does not participate actively in the market trade, thus there is no base to tax, as we don't tax the same transaction twice and all transactions are already taxed once. All buy purchases from players or ai are taxed from the buyer, all sell transactions to players or to ai are taxed on the seller.

We mentioned it before and i think during tax discussions. Maintenance = % of tax collected but not less than 100k. I think the number is 30%. The more tax you collect the more support you need for that. Taxmen, military, defence, administration. Additional services is based on maintenance cost - the richer the city the more support services cost. Philipsburg made 1.3 mln i think. Why you are unhappy with the 900k profit per day?

Previous limit of total 3 port battles was too small. Production bonuses now work both on trading resources (more trading resources spawn in the city) and on production in buildings (more volume can be mined or grown) Other fixes Hostility quests disappear from the list of available if your nation has already set 3 port battles for one enemy nation. Teleport is allowed to free towns Forge papers allow usage in free towns and neutral towns Nation descriptions and difficulty levels added player creation description.

What is taxed Ship purchases or sales using the market Resources/Materials/Ready goods purchases or sales using the market Cannon purchases or sales using the market Contracts Basically - market trade is taxed. As a result - when market trade fluctuates taxes fluctuate.

All ships in game are provided for early access testing and all ships will be in game on release in 3 forms. Fully available, Available in Admiralty for certain actions (like combat marks), Premium ships(or gift ships). (if the decision to have premium ships is made). We cannot add premium ships during early access as we are afraid of the potential backlash - but if users request we can reconsider. We will add remove ships from time to time during early access. Removal of ships from line ups will stop happening on release. Once ship is in game it will be in game forever without any removals. Rattlesnake was not removed to hurt anybody. Rattlesnake will of course come back. Final ship line up will only be known on release. Please be patient and forgiving before that

Cheating impossible build types for ships
admin replied to John Sheppard's topic in Tribunal - Трибунал
Claiming someone is a cheater is a serious accusation and captains must avoid making such statements if they have no proof and are not sure. Such claims can ruin reputation of a good honest player and if this happens a person claiming someone is a cheater willy nilly without proof might get punished himself. You should always ask the claim as a question if you are not sure - avoid blaming players or nations if you are really not sure what it is. Ship notes were random in the past and provided interesting combinations from time to time. Keep this ship - it might get very expensive in the future (if the planking combo is good). -
Inflation did not crash the game. Bullshit statement. And it won't crash it now. because its a game and you don't see half of the systems. Rewards were 2.5 higher in 2016 than there are now and there were multiple durability ships. Ratings were higher (70%) and dropped to 50 after inflation cutting patch. I honestly i don't give a **** about anything else except about making the main audience happy. So if players want money and easier access to ships so be it. Its still 2.5X below old levels.

I would like to point to these numbers again We did not go from one extreme from another. It just feels like that. Pre may24th austerity patch (when all money supply was cut). The reward for sinking HMS victory was approximately 400k. After wipe patch it was 50k, now its 175k. That is no extreme. We still have 1 durability, and the money supply is somewhere in between 2016 levels and May austerity patch.

I removed the idiot from the forums forever.

NA 2 discussions will only start after naval action is released.

We want to remove money from the equation for certain things/activities completely. Thats what we are testing now. (we tried austerity before) The theory proposed was that it was cost of the ships and lack of progress on mid levels inability to buy anything is a main limit to pvp The decision - "hmmm - why don't i go try pvp today" should not have any monetary concerns whatsoever at this stage of testing. And medium guns are totally fine for group pvp. So if group pvp increase and low level and mid level retention increase with this money supply - it will be awesome and it will stay. Important point!! ps btw the current money supply is LOWER than in 2016. it just feels like that reward for victory kill was 400k! before now its 175 also there were 5 durabilities before. Its just austerity was so strong that 50% rewards from old pre may 24th levels feel like .. money shower

re: Eternal wip Captain who we quoted is trying to mislead you Naval action is not delayed and is still in development as we never promised any dates. If you are in doubt visit steam page and read the warning that is shown right at the top of the store. Why Early Access? “Sea Trials is a long age of sail tradition. Captains of that time had a chance to test their vessel and provide feedback to the Admiralty on what needs to be changed to make the ship perform better. Extensive sea trials are required by the Admiralty to fully test if the ships in the game are seaworthy and ready for fighting.” Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access? “We plan to stay in Early Access until core features of the game are finished and polished.” NA is the only game in EA for us right now. Its a complex product and will be tuned for as long as it is needed to make it better. We have not delayed a single game. We have already released 3 games that sold 400,000 copies (2 were released from early access). Studio has 4 more games in development in addition to NA.

This is a topic for work in progress shots and stories about the game we have been tinkering with for the last 3-4 months These are very very early WIP on the images that are generated for the ship recognition books from the 3d ship designer, that will give players full control over the ship design and visualize it all in 3d. Player will be able to place main turrets, secondary turrets, casemate turrets, superstructures, masts, funnels, and decide on the shape of the hull, armor, barbette placement… All having historical constraints naturally limiting the players from creating strange and impossible monsters. All affecting ship performance in combat and movement. If we are able to achieve even 50% of what we want this will be a revolution in battleship games. Hope you enjoy it. Sorry for lower quality of the recognition book drafts but we can't show the rest.
