if you invite them both to your alliance they will only be able to join YOUR port battles.
-
Clarification The invitation to alliance will work ONLY for port battles - not open world. Open world ROE will still work the same way it is now and will be subject to the same rules as today. So screening action problems you all described could arise or could have happened ALREADY. A rogue clan can arrive to hostility generation or screening and deny attacks on the enemy by attacking them first and keeping them in battle safely.

port battle against whom?
-
alts can't participate in this as invite is voluntary. You invite clans if clans invite alts its their fault. Check the references before inviting.
-
Well if you were invited by both clans you will be able to join both sides. I am sure once it happens once another side will no longer add you to friends.
-
Captains please comment on the alliances with clans of foreign nations (for port battle entry rights only). For example - you can add a clan from a foreign nation to your friend list - allowing them to help you in port battles.

An answer to lack of PvP perhaps
admin replied to Dibbler (Retired)'s topic in Current Feature Improvement Suggestions
we are planning to eat the pill and bring pvp marks back and get some content behind the pvp wall. It works in WOW. Players who don't like pvp will still be able to buy pvp marks from pvp players.- 66 replies

cost of making a ship can reach 30-40k in art costs, programming costs, animation work, set up and testing. 3-4 people work on a ship When you make a lot of something over time your experience grows as a result, that is why new ships look better. We do not plan to come back to ships we made 2 years ago as even remaking 10 ships will cost 300k. Even if we had these 300k we would prefer to add new ships. ps resolution for the issue could be a ship drive (where customers can support remake by donating money)

A Different Take on Reinforcements
admin replied to William Death's topic in Current Feature Improvement Suggestions
regarding the safe zones - we tried. The thing is - players want to leave safe zones when they want to. And some do. We found that if we force the rest to go out of safe zones to progress they just leave the game because they don't progress. They sink, don't get a chance to learn, get frustrated and leave.- 33 replies

Sad news from Europe: Sixth coalition is kaput
admin replied to admin's topic in News Announcements & Important discussions
Historically Prussia could have sent a small colonial fleet of privateers to cut off Spanish supply of resources to Europe, because they were at war. It did not happen for multiple reasons but it could happen. These privateers could grow in power and actually capture a colony and then build from there. -
Sad news from Europe: Sixth coalition is kaput
admin replied to admin's topic in News Announcements & Important discussions
The decision spectrum is simple We either have 3 large full nations or we have a lot more smaller nations which constantly fight with each other. Having some nations without reinforcement zones and with capturable capitals will allow hardcore players to have as much hardcore rvr gameplay as they want, without affecting the rest of the audience. The main benefits of those nations is the risk and the opportunity to sail their national flags. The nation choice is also historical (could have happened). Don't forget its the test. Final test for the RVR/PVP imbalance -

We want to run a final test on the capturability of capitals for those who want it a bit more hardcore. The best way to do it wihout screwing up existing game play is to add new nations. New nations will not have a capital (thus will not have admiralty initially) and will have to capture and build one somewhere on the map. It will also not have a protection zone forcing new nations to protect their rookies. It will be a superhard more for unrestricted pvp and rvr fans. New nations will also split current large nations and will actually balance the game more. New nations will be very populated and will actively fight each other (and existing nations).- 270 replies

Reinforcment Zones - Yay or Nay?
admin replied to Liq's topic in Patch Feedback and General discussions
We think its impossible for the following reason. We found no rewards to compensate the risk for the average player. We tried to go against the grain and have the whole world to be a pvp zone - but it did not work. Maybe its the reason concord and huge highsec exists in eve. The only way to encourage pvp is content wall and pvp marks (we have not removed them completely btw). -
yes you can use crew repair buttons unlike other buttons its not a bug and not an exploit but visualization is very bad and need to be fixed we dont know if this should stay or get removed. in history surgeons did work during boarding and could repair some people back to action. what do you guys think?

Newsflash During negotiations on the Sixth Coalition one of the archdukes was hit by a candelabra. The resulting melee between royalties has ruined the chances for peace in Europe. Mobilization started in several countries on the continent. Is this the end of the world as we know it? Or is it a beginning of the new empires?

User interface first. Localization second. You can safely assume that clan docs = never. You might be pleasantly surprised after release but if does not happen you wont be dissapointed.

Locked deck view = immersion
admin replied to drwalker54's topic in Current Feature Improvement Suggestions
the view from deck and balconies during combat would be awesome and will be done in one of the future games (in single player). In the current game deck view is possible but requires tweaking the camera (using home) but only works from the fixed position but still provides some screen shot and video making options. -
Wasa : Where's the poop ?
admin replied to VonBarb's topic in Patch Feedback and General discussions
more ships will be added as notes -
We added 1000 tar at 100,000 and later a bit more to lessen the contract bug that takes a long time to fix Resource is called cartagena tar thats why it was added to cartagena Players bought the tar - it generated the tar tax We dont care who control cartagena. As we plan to add tar to the city until the bug is fixed it might give more tax to the city. If you want cartagena maybe you can man up and conquer it. Because your post is the biggest joke i have seen on this forum this month.

[CARIBBEAN] RECORDED HISTORY. Clan power ranking (rvr) #updated 26/10/18
admin replied to monk33y's topic in Caribbean News
We will continue spawning tar from time to time until the bug is fixed. We don't have good cosy relationships with ahoy (you can ask clan leaders directly about their ban history). Every clan on the map can capture the city and take the tax to themselves.- 392 replies
