  1. Her best recorded speed = ship fitted ground up for speed. Same with reload, crew numbers, marines, etc That's how i see it.
  2. Can't be that hard with a lot of historical records about the ships. Max ever recorded speed = all the speed stuff, from woods to modules to knowledge. Simple. Not difficult.

  5. Thing is, if Signalling is coming back or if everything comes back. Arena circle is a odd choice.
  6. Do the test. Sail in OW from point A ( port ) to a imaginary point B ( another port ) where a battle is. Sail in battle the same distance. Take notes. Enjoy understanding. 3 minutes, i'll leave an entire squadron out of sight, you will NOT see your enemy in the open sea. You will not know they are there, you think it is you versus that one enemy. Suddenly, because 3 minutes, 5 more guys jump you and you lose your ship. What you see is what you get, and 2 minutes average OW speed is enough to enter any battle you see.
  7. If the 5 lose ? they lost the battle. That's all there is about it. More battles will happen for sure.
  8. You let go whatever you want lol. This is a leisure past time activity. Leave me out of your pasture @Wraith. I like time and scale in my wargames and i have no problem in saying it. Devs do whatever they want.
  9. if it is a 2 enemy v 5 your side, why should you enter ? ( i'm following OP opening words, where weakest side gets reinforced )

  11. Many many many battles were decided with the first broadside. Way more than battles that lasted hours, and some even days btw.
  12. I will tell you what happens. People will sit in port and wait for someone to get attacked. Then they all sail out and enter any battle. After 7 days everyone will do the same. Sit in port because they know they can enter at any time. But all good, playtested that, can do it again. Let's rock n roll. ( i remember a fellow that always wanted that. then timers went to 15 minutes again. he was never ever seen again in a pvp battle...for some reason... and i may guess why. )
  13. imagine 5 different nature modules that increase speed. Can be rigging, hull, clock, and other. Sum of all of them would be 3%. Same with reload, pen, etc.
  14. Because when you left "somewhere" the battle was "already underway for hours". But guess Admiin proposal of Signalling, entrance in the battle to make it EVEN ( not 1.5br, not 1.2br, but 1.0 equal ) ( i hope) will suit you, and me and everyone.

  16. do a experience, to prove that. Attack a AI next to a town. Then sail in battle instance to the next town. Take note of the time you take to sail there. Then do the same in OW. Take note of the time. After you test then, tell me you could sail in 1:1 battle time to the battle that is happening near the next town before it was over. Thanks a ton.
  17. Look... read Developer thread opening post. And then reply to me like that again. The post is entirely about PvP and engaging gladly in PvP and enjoying PvP and embracing PvP, increasing PvP and whatnot more about PvP. Nothing else.
  18. You don't need to have the clan tag you just need to play along with others. And they can always announce in chat they want to BUY one.

  20. Yes, if developer's do that please remove reinforcement zones. They not needed with Signalling.
