  3. Which makes sense if you keep a 2 color scheme ( interleaved, 1 colour per day ) along with how much time each day of gameplay was.
  4. The server has no clue how experienced you are, or anyone, nor does it cares. Read again. It doesn't care. At best you have a dynamic BR by ship, woods, equipment and books. And that's it. There's no BR for player "XYZ".

  9. Who says D is correct ? You have any details ? Signalling was tested as a Perk. If you wanted to be reinforced you had to have the Perk. And the perk said 1.5x BR. I personally expect not 1.5x BR( more like 1.0 BR ), but i expect it to be a perk.
  10. Licinio, As i posted way above, for me circle of death makes no sense, hence i focus on the other aspects that do make sense. Glad I put that out of my way. If it comes to that I will simply change my "character" career to play the "new edition". Is like playing a french army with any wargames rules on the table in a waterloo scenario. I don't like it, i know i will be ganked and will not win, but still is great fun. We have fundamental differences. I see the game as a mean to play a character, whatever the rules. You see it as a big arena to game the game.

  13. Peace server is all single player, as much as I want. Good spot now and then.
  14. More PvP. PvP is when you want it and when others want it. Game is very complex in OW ( lot's of rules ) and we humans "exploit" every corner of it ( aka. waste time to shut down opportunities ). Many strive to play as clean and honest as possible, others don't even know what that means anymore. So, after many tests, devs have data we don't. They can link different pieces of different tests during different time frames together as they wish. Plus is not a game for solo, but to play together. If battle open for weak side is the way to put 2 players playing together, then that's good and outweighs the necessity of the solo player.
  15. Is warrant a test, as devs put it - they want it. Circle no. Signalling, sure. I don't mind the equal fights. Rework of tag mechanic ? Absolutely. Dynamic BR, would be awesome. and quoting a designer of wargames "...Talk is cheap, lots of people will express vast enthusiasm for you to develop games they would like to play, and then never play. It takes an unlikely combination of factors to get a community going." 100% correct.

Great idea to spend all the time sitting in port, teleport to closest spot and sail to GPS location 🍻 ( seas were empty when we had similar options - why sail when one can just wait - it led to even less conflict ) Beware what you wish for... for it might become true... just not the way you envision it.
  19. Options to get reals have been presented by several players in this thread. Trade is a cruel business. It is less visible than combat but i suspect the competition is more fierce. As i said, search for alternative trade routes and do not WANT to have one trade route all the time. As Admin also posted ( and there's a thread about it ) some novelties coming in but - i expect and hope - it is not infinite money. Trade competition must exist, and if a nation controls a trade route because it controls the ports, all the trade competitors from other nations have to do is convince their countrymen to do Conquest. Trade fuels war fuels trade. ( age of sail saying )

Hard to beat "free" and free is perfect for newcomers. aka. capture ships from NPCs / capture ships from enemy players when sailing with friends Old salty veterans have full docks/full bank accounts and rely on clan system to craft. Also Admiralty PvP Rewards have access to ships without the need to rely on crafting or ship market.
  21. Logistics. No you won't tow a grand fleet to free port and immediately sail out. You shall make an effort and plan your logistics work and then you can sail out with whatever ship with good amount of repairs. Leave repairs as is. Make sure ALL capitals and reinforcement zone ports have infinite repairs ( for the sake of the newcomers and lazy veterans alike and so it is impossible to buy them all for resale ). Get over it.Back to RoE and Signalling.
  22. Missed what ? Attacking enemies sailing on your shores ? Better safe than sorry. Your rank and station demand that you engage the enemy.
  23. Produces no rewards and no salt, hence not a good one for this community. ( reward for Britain triumph in the 7 years war was doubling its nation debt and eventually losing to the rebels on the aftermath )
