  1. Players beat mechanics. Some of us sell cannons at absurd low prices. Last time my companions did it, to celebrate a successful campaign, all the Long 6 pounders were released at roughly 700 gold each, hundreds of them, to support newcomers and veterans alike. That beats shop and still provides profit. Players beat mechanics.
  2. Give with one hand, take out with the other. Capture NPCs to make long term stay in one area and promote early life comfort ... but remove wholesale teleports to promote proper veterancy challenge and Nation management ( only debug teleport to remain ). Needs testing. Thank you.
  3. Oh, by all means Davos. The "greed sickness" is on us, the players. At one point we pound our chests for being such good Nation captains. The next moment we do stab them in the gut looking only to our own individual and clan welfare and gone with the wind with all the rest. Some like challenges, some like easy wins, at the Nation vs Nation level.
  4. Not disagreeing Thread should be focused on what good can be to NA and not how bad or good a leaderboard of EVE is.
  5. Sir, not all France corsairs side with such villainy. Despite the differences and exchange of gallantry at the length of shot some of us rather side with proper civilized nations to bring a end to the scourge of false pyracy based on children books and egotistic manners. Like water unto stone... one drop at a time.
  6. forged papers and some patience are a time bomb for warehouses , but hey watch your glass roofs. At least some are done very decent and honest and actually being a cell done by several players without resorting to any secondary account to spy or to sabotage. Funny how things go unnoticed when some players play honest. shady deals work both ways.
  7. If the AI ships are ALL oak/crew space then maybe not. No idea. I would though limit access to trade ships.
  8. Lockdown 100% region until PB is resolved. - no NPCs generate in the area - no TPs available into and from the area Have your Battle Groups do what they have to do, both defenders and attackers. Once PB is resolved, back to normal. Works both ways.
  9. Correct. Noticed some overlapping issues. Maybe we shouldn't have the indication of which county we are in and just go with the flow ?
  10. Ships are tools that enable the acquisition of stuff, including currency. Grabbing a ship from the shop, including full complement of mediums isn't that hard but I see it is a rock in the way of many. What makes me think is, if there's a injection of currency in the form of "free to grab" ships how to drain the currency on the other end ?...
  11. Yes, NA is the game. Enough of EVE Hopefully it is bug fixes at the very least. Let's wait for notes.
  12. Issues with regions should be reported. But there's a world difference between having a fairly large region and having to search for the fleets, as they are there, and specific cases like Treasure Island, which was reported.
  13. As I suggested before [faction] [ship]...sunk...[faction] [ship]...in...[region] no names just ships no port just region
  14. For sure. Ships captured from AI should be flat store types. Oak, Crew Space. 1 perma slot, 3 knowledge slots max. This is to ensure Crafters economy protection
  15. There are no safe areas other than the safe areas created by the players themselves.
  16. Guess we'll be given the info when the porting is underway
  17. Roleplay wise, Praying does help a lot. Funny how things actually work out...
  18. Heard stories, if you believe such things, that they do sail the ships of the line of the shallows. That is, if you believe such things. The stories I mean.
  19. Teamwork ! ... can be trained by good use of all 7th and 6th rates.
  20. Gotcha Breeze. I reckon a lot of us jumped it to also promote the exchange at the highseas - say like when a privateer intercepts a trader and takes only what he wants and let the fellow go on on its way without further prejudice.
