  1. The dials are fine tune enough, even in flat curve, for the yards that's true. Sadly my Saitek doesn't like Unity one bit ... *shrugs*
  2. Something like this. I know some mouses might have it, dunno
  3. I like the Rise of Flight per plane axis response graphs. Can I have a macro that works like that for the sails ?
  4. Maybe, just maybe, if you really have to run away, working the enemy ship worst and not your best might be a solution ?
  5. Okay, i'll have a talk with some fellows then. Need to change the dates on some places and young adulthood to 16 yo Sorry for the disruption, carry on. Marks... PvP marks...
  6. Just a note for those that don't know - Millennials are human beings that have been born since 1974 ( excluded ).
  7. By the way, how can 1 Snow tag a Constitution ? Or was the snow tagged ?!...
  8. I suggested that many times before. But that drastic measure would have to be tied with curated Admiralty with proper assignments and not the makeshift squadrons we have now - aka. avalanche of steamrolling OW forcing surrenders en masse vs farming marks... *sigh*
  9. This is very true, many of us never had any interest in mmos, and not even a factor to measure any player in NA. although the brain work to see around the corner should be a fair point. Onto the subjectm I am adamant against "loose gear" - as in not integrated with the ship crafting, especially with the mark system. At the same time the marks should be bounded and not tradeable, if we have to have them, and only some rewards should be tradeable, such as permits and notes. Paints and pvp modules should be soulbound.
  10. Well said, but I will add it ain't specific of unrated, but let's go beyond rates now if we can. Completely eliminating a playstyle that involves daring due to some... *sigh*... type of players is a no go on my book. But let's look it from another angle... I imagine anyone wanting to grief will be the Attack side, so wouldn't the Attacker be the one bound to some specific sort of "mechanic" ? Aye vonGunn, reckon there was a bit of dust in the air from both sides of the fence. Pretty normal, especially when the playstyles are diametral. Personally I don't grief nor any of the fellows I follow suit. Cannot see the point of it, although when we are beaten back, by God, we do lick wound and GG. Did plenty of times. We do have a distinct playstyle due to the historical side of age of sail we like the most - yankee privateers, french corsairs, etc - and that lives of OW prey as opposed to others that like the historical side of Trafalgar and similar game style. Sorry for any misunderstanding.
  11. Okay. How long is a full revolution of the mortar ? I know their best angle is to starboard but never timed the turn.
  12. Would having "mortar killers" light frigates in the line.up help as well ?
  13. The more people "interpreting" orders the more chances to something going not entirely as expected oh...wait...that sound oddly familiar.
  14. Give me a simulator then, please !?
  15. Tournament map with shallows and El Morro forts all around
  16. Many players do hope for a dramatic and more realistic regress to proper in-built modules instead of this inflation of characteristics indeed. Whatever the mods of choice, some prefer speed, others boarding, others handling, we all can adulterate the proper "credible realism" of the ships, example being the long hull ships ( whatever rate ! ) with extreme module/book refits having null drift and stopping on the spot.
  17. many many many many thanks best thing about it, no matter the meta, is the energy/wind control.
  18. All Forum PvP should be transformed into OW PvP content.
