  1. Opposite sides of table. I see it as content for middle man to do. I see it as operational level supplies for fleets, as middle man crafts them. I see it very far away from a solo tactical perspective. Opposing your opinion doesn't make me right though. Keep fighting your fight man, just stay sharp and understand that many do not share of your vision. ~S~
  2. You do. We all crash test dummies Rulebook states: - Medium cannons are available everywhere. - Longs and Carronades are exclusively player crafted. Plan accordingly.

  8. Offensive names are not allowed in game. If you consider the name offensive please report it by F11. Or by reporting it from chat using report name function. Players using offensive names will be banned from chat and group functionality.
  9. That's a warming welcome to my heart after a hard long morning of work. Such a great list of changes - ow trade, roe changes, non consecutive attacks, dlc packs, UI... oh my oh my... To answer the premium no-go comments - what is a ship fully bumped with all the janky crazy nutz and boltz ? Premium ship all the same. So before even removing any ships to access parts of the game I suggest to review them DLC ships AND ... and... drop the axe on many of the modules, perks and knowledges. Please.
  10. The swivels kill crew very good They did already on the LGV refit, it is the same on the Xebec. Against some low thickness sterns you don't need to even damage it, just blaze away, roughly 5 crew per swivel if the shot is nice and well angled. Regarding the inbuilt, similar to privateer, the xebec areas are open, crew can easily reach anywhere. Hence i proposed the inbuilt Boatswain. Both the Xebec and Hercules need the BR raised to quasi-Cerberus level.

  12. *chuckles* Don't worry, your Rank and Crafting XP are 99.99% safe on release taking from devs posts from before. In any case, seems like NA might be the first EA or Testing you've done.
  13. Flag mechanic has to work two ways, as I see it. Meaning - be pulled with intent, and a cost in case it fails. If cost/bet is too high no one will use it - like today, look at clanwars... hostility cost is maybe too high ? Or clans not interested... If it doesn't cost anything - like mere gold/resources - it can be trolled. A hypothetical effect of the Flag would be - has to be created in a conquerable port owned by the clan that creates the flag. - Port that creates flag becomes open for PB on the next day during its timer. - Flag must be planted during the port timer. Battle is the next day. Attack on Neutral ports ( not owned by any nation ) can be crafted in any port without consequence. Entire responsability of creating flags passes to clans and multiple flags can actually be created. The one planted cancelling all others. PB is guaranteed in any case.

At the moment it is over the top bonus to all angles given the canvas always luffs except at extreme angles ( as it should be ) but with the increased 0.30 force or more bonus from refits is really a no go We achieve the speed cap almost 360ΒΊ. The 3 seconds timer looks good but the visuals take longer. I suggest to make the timer equal to the visuals as it looks really good - i think it is 4 - 5 seconds ? Regarding the Battle Sails - OW animations have a 3 sails, 2 sails, 1 sail open positions. - What are the chances of translating that into instances ? Also, some wood builds make the xebec a really tough nut when in reality she is fairly "fragile" with thin ribs and no beams to support a "wall of oak" to take battering punishment like the other ships. Didn't particularly check La Requien for that but maybe check the hull and structure again. On the other hand, the xebecs are very open with ease of access to all areas by the crew. So putting out a fire or bailing out water could actually be faster. Given all other specialist pirate/privateer ships have in-builds, why not have a Crew Transfer inbuilt for the Xebec ?
  16. Main mast yard just rotates to rest almost vertical, sail is collected. but given - cant do it visually without adding new set of animations. Would look good though.

  18. Yep. In the end it is a showcase of how things are across plenty of captains. That's we wanted, right ? Tid and bits dropping everywhere and growing on trees so we could enhance our ships in win-win ways. Given the amount of hoarding I wonder if anti-eco crew is right after all and it is a faux-feature in the end... πŸ€”

  20. I don't do a lot, albeit this latest character i've been doing a lot of PvE testing. Also, we get Combat Marks with PvP as well if you haven't noticed. I recall it is equal number of combat marks as pvp marks. Plus nothing in the screenshot says it is mine, it is just a player's character that was never deleted since the wipe a while ago. Go figure. He needs nothing from the "economy" anymore. He is out of the "eco" game, same as thousands of others.
