  1. Sandbox has its own eco operational level. DLC Collector's models should never be mixed with the sandbox. This being said DLC Collector's models should never follow the same "crafting RNG" rules and be aways the standard quality.
  2. I bet it is the same, for every 100k subscriptions you'll have 1% with over 100 hours. Given they work in the baseline of million, 10k with over 100 hours which can be verified in various stats sites. Roughly 2.5k keep ( paying it !) playing it religiously. Not that different from NA. ( i did test it before launch for 6 months , thinking it would become the new "Elite" - quickly understood it wouldn't and never ever played it after it went live. just a curiosity )
  3. 100 hours of NA being an average... That's fairly more than many put in Fallout 4, Elite Dangerous, EFTarkov, etc. If you check data, a very little %% of players in any game will go over 100 - 250 hours. Let alone 4000 ! 5000 ! 8000 !!!!!!!!
  4. How did Britain coasts and Ireland got raided by Berber xebecs then ?
  5. Ship will stay in the open world for 2 minutes open to everything in case of a disconnect - exactly the same as doing a logoff in the OW - 120 seconds timeout until ship disappears. Regarding the disappearances right on the spot - ships will disappear from view when they reach the draw range / view range - there's no earth curvature. So this can be easily misidentified as a "logoff" especially if their ships are fast: - you see them move away - they reach view limit, ships simply disappear - you sail there but they are fast so already beyond view range all the time. - they "magically" disappeared - must be a exploit Please bring hard evidence, video is best. Then we can look at it and explain exactly what it is.
  6. An attack order can be chosen in the last second of the round timer by paying extra preparation - that's why the boarding sequence is invaluable. Do you have the screenshot of the boarding sequence ? That would be extremely helpful. This screenshots show nothing about the boarding. Thread title modified.
  7. There's opinions, there's facts and then there's lies. Title slightly changed to correct form.
  8. This is a recurrent theme and one can use the Lighthouse suggestions below Please, use the SEARCH function http://forum.game-labs.net/topic/14987-the-biggest-friend-of-the-trader-at-night http://forum.game-labs.net/topic/10757-light-houses-and-stars http://forum.game-labs.net/topic/10242-the-importance-of-lighthouses http://forum.game-labs.net/topic/6639-lighthouses http://forum.game-labs.net/topic/6002-lighthouses closed as duplicate
  9. The US is "easy" due to position and one way avenue out into the center of the map through Conquest - control of the entire US coast being pointed out as one of the primary objectives in Conquest for that Faction. Think the description is very accurate and a good clue on where to focus energies. Compare for example with Sweden, where albeit having more flexibility, to west and south, it also can mean double the trouble. Remember that the nations descriptions do not take into consideration ANY specific chronological period in the Naval Action storyline during the early access. Things can change a lot, as they did before. Some interesting points presented. The hardcore nations should be able to choose any starting free port. Bigger nations with split "capitals" should be able to choose any - example French cadets should be able to choose Fort Royal or Nouvelle Orleans.
  10. I surely hope it not to be a casual combat nor casual mmo, but having space for casual age of sail hardcore combat wargame simulation of life in the age of sail in the caribbean. So many tests should show the way of what is casual and what's not.
  11. Age of sail logs entries are by month blocks. They would state the month once and then the day number per entry needed ( and individual entries for different hours during the day ). So MM/DD For gameplay reasons, sure. Have an option to choose format.
  12. Last record of Barbary pirate being in combat with the RN is from 1850. So they were in place already way well before NA scope start ( 1670's - 1700 ) and fairly beyond (1820's ). Barbary states - morocco, algiers, tunis, etc, were fairly distinct with a fairly unique pack of flags. some paintings
  13. didn't use chain on them, always free mode ( due to their exceptional and unique way with the wind ) or destroy carry on or need to breathe a bit more stale air ?
  14. Please pass your suggestion to here
  15. Both flags can be used for a Portuguese roleplay. This one being used since 1707 so pretty much covers the entire period until 1830 and being the Absolutist flag during the civil war. The Jack for the Absolutists could also make use of red rim Liberal cause - very much end of the Naval Action period There's a listed blue rimmed jack for naval pilots during the Liberal Wars ( civil war ) but it conflicts with with eht Absolutist jack as both sides used them. You can see the flags being used in the following paintings It is of note that the Liberal cause still used the Kingdom colours, full white field, but under the Liberal cause standard. The picture below shows it very well. The one above is a detail of the painting about the Battle of Cape S. Vincent. The one below it is battle in the Tagus river.
  16. When massive fleets refuse to fight, when clans do not make use of the clanwars updated mechanics, when squadrons do mexican standoffs for an hour, when everything is bypassed through loopholes so cargo is not afloat, when even the patrol zones are the snowball effect most of the days , there's only pve left. Pve is easy and safe. So far so good. We can cut two ways. Remove the pve drops ( oh yes! ) or open everything in the admiralty. Simple and effective.
  17. Because all shipos must be pristine and moduled perfectly. *insert coin to play* "must get everything as fast as possible." - still remain true, by all means possible.
  18. There's a lot of honest players around playing as intended.
  19. Absolutely. I still own that tshirt. ( in truth I was attacked on both occasions, i wasn't the attacker. So iwas nothing but a willing victim ) See nothing different from using a fleet of different ships. Difference being the non DLC take minutes to build. DLC takes 4 days. #nofleets
  20. Yes. Sadly many many players cannot take the challenge and must get everything as fast as they can by all means possible.
  21. Thank you for stepping in. Can't do anything about it, it is up to @MarkusBarak to manage it, but that video name is misleading and sure provokes indirect damage to NA.
