    So far in the Habana / KW / Tumado corridor there I've collected over 200 marks and sunk 0 times over the past couple weeks. You need to babysit better.

    If you're a book reader there should be some good stuff coming up. I'm not huge on how the ring gate stuff turned out and it seemed to move a little too fast in my opinion. Overall it's still the best scifi on TV. All I can say about the new star trek discovery is it's not like the trek I grew up with in the 80s/90s. Hopefully Picard coming back will fix this.

    Working on it, lot's of timers though. I started a SGA rewatch over the weekend.....I miss that whole franchise and I think what I miss even more is meaningful and positive sci-fi. I love the expanse and the new trek is kinda OK, but dark drama driven scifi is a little too gloomy sometimes. SG was a good counter to this.

    This game needs a good villain(s) that the server can rally against. A few months ago it was Russia and we generated a fuck tonne of content. Maybe it'll be Russia again. We'll be all better for it I imagine.

    Fun little scrap outside of the Mimbres PB Moderately noteworthy, only in the fact that with the change in wind profiles it's no longer as easy to chase and sink downwind ships in the trollquin. Luckily my partner was in a fir/fir and while she melted under carro fire, was able to keep them chained while I boarded both of them. We were not able to keep up with the last one unfortunately. I've found the recent changes make the requin a little less of a threat and getting a good tag is now necessary.

    Pirates started attacking for a similar reason. Russia attacked one of our ports, we attempted to retaliate at night. Spain interfered. JAGs was warned what would happen, this is the result. While I can appreciate wanting to help allies, if you are going to ally yourself with more than half the server.....incidents like this are bound to happen. Don't dictate to other nations who and where they are allowed to attack and then not expect retaliation. In the case of the French, telling them they aren't even allowed to PVP in a certain area because it's "under your protection" is just sheer arrogance. Personally I think this web of alliances and different clans helping certain nations is a mess. Much preferred the hard coded alliances or simply none at all. It's fun being pirate and not worrying about who you can and cannot attack. Yet another reason to make this game clan based rather than nation based.

    Key West covers our current port costs + still made us a profit. We're good. Also had a couple clans from other nations throw into the KW pool to make sure we kept it open. Guess a convenient launching point to go sink spain is highly desirable. Keep making enemies. Unfortunately our times don't line up. Maybe one day. From what I saw at Key West and the brit battle at Turneffe, I'm not too worried. You are of course welcome to stay up this week during our nighttime activities if you want to fight. Mimbres was raised to get some screening fights and grind up requin slots for a couple of our daytime guys. Mission accomplished. We'll start doing real shallow PBs again when the trollquin problem gets solved.

    Empty PBs don't bother us. Spikes has ocean slots to grind up and I need mortar brig practice. Spain attacked pirate ports and pirate RVR fleets.....and then whines when we respond. Mess with the bull, you get the horns.

    No real drama. I mostly hung out with the 7up crew who, despite all this drama, are pretty good guys. Behind the scenes they put a lot of effort into making RVR work and to be frank I'm not sure Spain deserves them. They are continually let down by Spanish turn out or lack of initiative/preparedness. The SH guys are a bunch of germans and they helped sink the traitor Capt. Hardy with us over at Corrientes so they're OK in my book. Everyone else is just kinda background hum. There's constant Spanish on TS and you just learn to zone it out. No real interaction with the VLTRA guys really other than amazement that I think they and I were in the same battles together on occasion.
