  1. Still no patrol zone RoE fix.. Bleh good thing it's summer ✌️
  2. Fixed patrol zone RoE
  3. Easiest fix: Make safezones 100% safe again, but also slightly reduce their size And Fix patrol zones RoE -> More PvP between players wanting to pvp Downside is that "protecting your shores" is eliminated because the game does it for you. One layer of RvR, solo hunting in hostile waters, erased - But I guess you cant have a cake and eat it too.
  4. Noob in super duper deluxe schiff gegen erfahrenen spieler mit 2000 spielstunden in einem shop schiff.. Da bringt dem noob die paar prozente nachlade- / repairbonus oder was auch immer herzlich wenig
  5. A "story mode" in AAA games provides content for what, 50-75 hours? In an MMO the "real" content is interaction with other players, be it as PBs or ow PvP. So lets focus on making these more enjoyable - there are some good ideas ingame already but not with the right settings (e.g. patrol zones).
  6. The button "craft ship" should be press-able if all ressources and / or materials are in the warehouse, to instantly turn them into mats required and the ship aswell in one click. That way the ones liking doing every single click manually get their share, and others just interested in just the outcome (the ship) get theirs. But thats most likely not gonna happen now with the new crafting units system. We'll see what it brings.
  7. good effort ill throw in 100 pvp marks to the pool
  8. People tend to forget that combat in NA is way sped up - tacking a SoL ingame takes a minute or two at max. whereas IRL the whole manouver could easily take 15 minutes. Same goes for any other manouver. ships are way more responsive in game. As a result you get the possibility to rake quite often, whereas in reality you couldnt just "swing back around" and go for another second rake a minute later. That is why individual rakes cannot be as effective as they are in reality.
  9. 1) not caring who the enemy captain is-If you start a battle vs a vet which you fear alone from reading the name, you put yourself at a disadvantage, because that "fear" or respect doesnt allow you to make full use of your knowledge. 2) situational awareness 3) angling!
  10. More like this
  11. That argument just doesnt work On steam release we didnt have any kind of safe zone, no fleet missions either. It also took way more XP to lvl up. Yet we had a full server. After 100s or 1000s of hours you just get bored and leave (for a while or forever). I think a big part as to why we had a full servee at first is because Naval Action was on the "bestsellers" list on steam for a day or two (I think even place 1 for a short time), because people who owned sea trials (old NA) got their copy of NA. Personally I wouldnt have seen the game if i had not checked best sellers on that very day. Conclusion: "advertising" is key for fresh blood and thus more salt and energy which fuels RvR and the game. But that should only happen once UI and tutorial is done
  12. To me this sounds like the broken part Dont like the spawn options in reinforcment zones.
  13. Not salty but kind of funny how different perceptions can be. IMHO only if you fully go past worrying about losing your gear (in a winnable occasion, winnable can also be alone 1v2 at times), you develop more confidence and thus fight better
  14. would look nice, sure. but for like the first few times only. after that you'll be used to seeing whales. Remember when they added sea gulls? Nice to have, but IMHO such an addition should have been VERY low priority, post-release. Remember, they're only two coders, thus very limited coding time. Their main priority at the moment is the User Interface aswell as the tutorial, which I think is the best way to go for now.
  15. well it does a good job at that, sailing hours (IRL days / months ? ) without seeing anything, lol
  16. I really dont think so Maybe it could be made work only for the patrol zones. But those first need a RoE overhaul.
  17. Good idea If you sink someone while having equal or less BR, you get "positive" reputation / karma points. That should be limited by factors, e.g. 1x1 BR is 1x rep. Points, max. 1x3 BR (enemies being 3) is 3x rep. Points. Cant go higher to avoid excessive farming. And same thing the other way round. Sink someone while outnumbering 3x1 BR, you get 3x "negative" rep. / karma points. Could add reputation / karma ranks based on your standings, so lets say if you see a very badly rated captain with lots of negative karma, you know not to make deals with him / trust him or whatever Maybe having a lot of positive reputation points could also grant some bonusses such as cheaper prices in admiralty shop or what not.
  18. Exactly what Im thinking. Fixed patrol zones with fixed RoE could work. But that again will upset the sandbox lovers, which dont like the idea of a mini arena in this game. So according to them you should leave capitals alone and not even think about interacting with newbs, and at the same time shouldnt be allowed to get a quick battle or two a day in the patrol zone. The struggle is real.
  19. Ink posted them a while ago
  20. Warthunder solved that by having a forced cooldown between the messages, excessive spamming was punished with chat bans
