  1. That all great and expect d but try that with a 6th rate. Every thing you stated is void by the fact it has 100 more crew than any other 6th rate. It needs to be classed as a 5th rate and BR raised along with the Herc. I seen this a few times getting ships down to 50% sails that still out run other ships. If your at 50% you should never be going more than 50% max speed. I thought k it’s the force mods that do it but haven’t caught enough of these guys to figure out the connection.
  2. We will see but that 4th deck is like the pavel so really isn’t much as it’s only 8 cannons. 28-42 28-18 26-12 8-9 she has less cannons on her bottom two decks but more on third but not by much. Why would she be slowe cause she has an extra deck? She’s also got lighter guns with 18’s instead of 24’s on that second deck. I still want to see a foiled deck 32 pounder 3rd rate in game some day. Hell maybe they surprise us and the new ship is one of the three voted on ships
  3. I'm thinking the Christan as it's been finished for a whiles other than balance stats work out as that screen shot is pretty old. It would be nice to have another 2nd rate, it's suppose to be faster than the others and has bow chasers. Though I would love to see the proper updated Constitution, which really isn't a refit it's closer to it's real starts. What they should do is released that and make the current connie more like a generic 4th rate that you can buy with CM's. Ha I'm not suggesting anything, it was @adminthat brought it a few pages back and well being my normally moody self I went off on it this morning. If they are going to do it than lets get it in game and see the damage now and not after release so we can balance it. I'm totally against it to be official on it, but hay I'm just some player so what does my views count?

  5. LOL.....LOL.....LOL dude lets be honest it's the second to last week of August, they have a week and half left and they never been able to do patches on time. When I read that it read straight up First of September but most likely end of it. The UI and Econ stuff they been working on since April (I highly dought they even touched it before announcing it with the rate they are taking). I would love to have them prove me wrong, but we are not going to get a patch this week or next and no new ships.

As a clan leader now add into that every time I have to telport to CT or the port we have our warehouse in and give out mods, repairs, cannons and mats if there isn't another officer in the same port. Specially since not every one logs in and is ready at the same time. I also have to be in that port to add any Mats or gold to the warehouse. Fine if @admin wants to charge a fee lets get it into game soon (he said it's all ready in game just not turned on) and lets test it so we don't have the issue with Crew cost where it was way to high when they introduced it to use (we told them this in Test along with the WASA being to OP and they didn't listen to us along with other things they had to change from test). If there was a way to remotely claim your contracts (still have to go pick it up in port) and do your econ it would help too, than folks wouldn't have to jump around every where to do them and check store stocks. Many games that does have this in place has freaking Auction houses that you can check port/city stocks in, buy something and than go pick it up. We don't have that so we have to actually jump around and look at the stock. Give us proper regional/national Auction House's and a means to remotely do our Econ and I'll be all for this fee. That and all fees along with repairs and directly to shop sales should go back to the clan that owns that port and they should have trade/mangemnet tools for there ports.

Even back on Global we ran normally H Rattlers for the most part, Niagara for the boarders and Navy Brigs for the crashers.....they would run into the other team ships just to take out bow sprits. We than had a couple or Princes for circle control and we fought the PB's the same way when we came over to the server. The reason the Mercury lost it's spot light was cause of the old crew kills with grape. I could grape it to death and never take a hit pretty much, but than the H Rattler on reload build will keep it in crew shock so those 24's where useless. It honestly needed a bit of love as it was a lovely ship. I prob should build one and test it out a bit just for fun. Though now the only thing you see is Requins with a few other ships if the persons didn't have the DLC. The reason it's meta is cause it has more guns, more crew (100 more than any other 1st rates) and a great battle profile and sail profile compared to the others. It should not be in shallow water PB's with those stats. It can stay in shallows, but not the PB's asd there is nothing else to counter it unless you have the DLC. Cause like the Herc while we can counter it, we have to put 2-3 ships on it to take it out unless we are using like ships. That means it's BR honestlly needs to be 2-3 times higher, but I think the 140-150 rang would be about right. That way even if it's keep in the shallows you pretty much loose half your ships if you bring all Requins over other ships. And most of us aren't asking for it's stats to be changed, just the classification so it's not the king of the Shallow PB, you can still raid all you want in the shallows with it having a 5th rating and higher BR. Just means your limited to deep port battle (let it take the Prince place in deep water that fine) and limit the use by it's BR so you can' t spam a bunch of them at 80 BR. Herc and it can be Kings of OW shallows no one is complaining about that. BR fix will also work best once they fix the ROE in the PvP zones too.
  8. I always think it’s funny when you bring up the crew things folks anti change to the ship slip the topic. The ship close to the same crew is the Niagara which has 100 less crew. Which with every crew mod/wood/refit out there can only get 232. Still less than an in modded Requin. I can load up all board mods and destroy that Niagara.
  9. Aren’t the Herc and Requin on those loot tables now to according to @admin there would be in game ways to get DLC too. Epics loot is a joke. I get the 9 chest but one Epic chest to split between 6 players and out of a dozen or so times we got one rare ship the Rattlesnake. Every one that finishes them should get the epic chest as a redeemable reward per player involved. Specially if they lost a ship or two that could of been worth more than what you get out of some of the chest.
  10. They hunt the sheep cause they aren’t good them self so they pick easy targets. The game give a fade safe zones so the sheep have no where safe to level aup and enjoy the game. In a pure PvP game you have two types of players. Those that win and those that loose. If your never winning your not having fun and you tend to stop playing a game. So why would they fight some one equal or better skill than them? Cause they are winning why risk loosing cause it’s no fun.
  11. You keep saying it's not a burden, again do you play any of the nations I mention before? US mainly the one that gets most of those new players and casuals? I play with them daily and hear the complaints in Nation chat and TS of things that are burdens to them in game. Like I said do an in game poll if you need to cause most of them do not post on the forums. And glad to hear the contract thing is being looked at and I get that it's not one the top of the list, but stop trying to say other things will improve alts and other use. I have 5 chars I know exactly what will stop me from putting contracts up, it won't be port telport cost. Yes and remember when you introduced crew cost it cost almost as much as the ships to be crafted to stock crew on it and you got an extremely bad backlash until you got the cost down to a half decent amount. Test bed and letting us give you feed back would go a long way, but hay guess it wasn't useful enough since you stop using the testbed. The reason most casuals don't telport as much at the vets is they stay around starting ports and they also don't want to pay 9 million for that last port. I know a lot of guys in US still have that last one or two outpost not unlocked cause they don't want to pay that much. There are a lot of guys that think they are rich if they make 1 million. The problem is we been waiting with little feed back of why it's taking longer and longer, but thanks for the update last week. I been asking for that for over a month and half every Monday morning so that we know why we are waiting. Notice I stopped doing my Monday #SOON post? and that is why folks are lost, we have no clue what these econ changes are going to be cause you give out very little detail. I honestly think it's cause you don't have a clue when you first mention them and change them half a dozen time. This patch is suppose to been out when the OW UI came out but it got pushed back to come with the in port UI, rightfully so you don't have to do double work, but if you don't know what the ECON changes are going to be right now to give us a half decent heads up of changes than you don't respect your player base enough for them to accept and prepare for those changes. Last econ update was like what back in May with a June update of what to do, it's almost the end of August now. You would think you would have more info on what to expect by now.

Games change and evolve and that is good, but this game will never make it as a true hard core game, you see it every time ya'll go that route you loose a very large player base numbers and they don't come back. Do you even play your game? I mean in a nation that gets new players and have a bunch of casual players? I don't think any of ya'll do and that is why your so out of touch with the majority of the players. You don't want to know how many times we tried to do AI missions or even Hostility in US nation to have some one show up say they don't have repairs or ran out and than say they are broke. Not every one has billions of gold. Hell I prob got about 20 million between my 5 chars (though I prob got 10 that in resources). Not every one does the trade runs, not every one is on half the dang day playing. You can't keep listening to only the Vets, elite, hard core guys and keep a game a live. You add more burden on those causal players we will lose more of them. They are the sheep the hunters hunt (cause we know most of them refuse to hunt each other). If you loose sheeps you loose hunters and you have a dead game. It honestly should be removed, but cords should be returnd on the map (not accurate but still there) along with grids. I should be able to tell some one to meet me a this long/lat. It's up to them to figure out where that is and get there. We don't have these tools in game and they should be there cause even during the time of the game is based on they had means to chart there cords and know roughly there locations. F11 is mostlly used with third party software any way so why not have something in game that is more real and remove that from the game. That way all chars have a fair chance to get lost or kinda find there way around the in game map. You removed the cords cause of a few hardcore guys, how many of those guys are still playing? I bet a lot of hard core moves that was made cause of a group of players most of those players aren't playing any more. Many of us have suggested a fix to contract and alts with clan owned ports. Give us power over contracts with a trade optoin to limit all, nation, friendly clans. Though it seems @admin and the Devs ignore these actuall usefull suggestions we make and than go and do somethign completely off the wall that no one openly suggested....like charge for port teleportation. How do you, have you played US, French or GB where the majority of the casual new players join? I deal with these players very day in my clan and in the nations. I know many of them haven't even unlocked all there out post cause of cost, and now your going to tell them the few ports they have your going to charge to move to and from? We are hatting cause we actually play with these folks that you have no since of reality of how to keep them in game playing. For a game that has 50% north american sales you think there would be way more NA players in this game. I wonder why you have such a bad turn around rate of the majority of the sales of your game? Have you polled and tried to find out why that is? I know I have never been asked and I'm prob the most active NA player on the forums (yes I know I"m a forum whore). The same goes with all these casuals that don't get on the forums. Have you asked them there thoughts about things like this or even bigger there none safe zones around capitals that are nothing but seal clubbing and ganks zones? Here is something do an in game poll of some of these things and see what the majority of all the players think about it. Casual, vets, what not. Don't do it here cause you get the same folks and half them don't play the game. I some times wonder what ever happen to that Customer Rep concept they came up with at the start of the year to get proper feed back from the players?
  13. This was always the key even back when she was OP as a 4th rate. The problem is she's not a bad ship right now and would do some things better than a Wasa like chasing down ships with all her chasers, but she's not the brawler she use to be against other ships without support. She really needs a way to get her without PvP marks. I would actually use her more on the one account I open her if it wasn't for the PvP mark value. Just like the LVG Refit I have it open on one char and would use her more on others if she didn't cost PvP marks. Would be nice if they had us an option to buy the BP and make the permits cost a reduced PvP mark for it and I bet you we will see a lot more of them. I would pay 50-100 PvP marks for the BP and than 5 per permit or even 10. @admin have we thought of other ways to allow folks to get Wasa, L'Herm and LVG Refits? As for the LVG refit and any refits in the future I honestly think they should take a ship and than refit it. Like I have an LGV I craftered or campture. I want to refit it into an LVG REFIT. So I buy the permit and turn it in with the ship to have it refitted as the new LGV Refit. The refit permit would cost less than the whole ship on it's own. We also need an Indianman refit in game too. Half the cargo but a bit more firepower/crew. There should be a rare chance to get the BP for all ships in game and have them craftable unless they are special gift ships or rare prizes. I would love some epic type mission with a price to have the special BP in it. Every one that finishes gets the prize (not the stupid one chest split between 6 guys like epics are now).
  14. @admin even stated they looked at the concept of doing false flag perk. Would be great for Pirates and Privateers. In OW you see them as one nation (the nation they pick for the false flag). Than when your pulled into battle it shows the true nation of the player. I think it would actually work better as a mod than as a perk so it's not always active. Have perm mods that you can put on ships to give them false flag. They can have a cool down or even have them disappear after use/battle. Though a ship knowledge would also work with a cool down that say after you get out of battle you have to return to a port to reset it and/or it only resets say after one hour cool down (cause word would be out about a Pirate ship attacking US ship under the US flag). Honestly this is more a reason why I have ever used DD cause that last minute pull is retarded from AI. AI should be set to no board when sinking cause other wise there crew should be tied in board prep and they should be sinking faster with no one in survival. On a side note i done this in battle that had rage boarding cluster !ucks. Got out of mine to pull some one stuck and take there ship since every one was pounding on mine while I was in boarding to only find out I won and jumped to the enemy ship. Than jump to the next enemy ship or go down with that one. People really need to learn when to turn there prep on for boarding casue 9 times out 10 I win a board cause the other guy never had his prep up. With that I also think DD should not be active unless you have your boarding prep on. While I wouldn't limit this to one ship, but i can see allowing for what I would call a SOFT surrender. This would allow trade ships and other ships to surrender to a more powerfull odds. The other team can than come to your ship and inspect it as if you surrender it and take what they want off it and leave your ship or capture it out right. Also they can take what they want or just leave you alone and exit the fight. If they exit the fight without sinking you or capturing your ship than you keep it and can go on your marry way. How to keep from any abuse is that just like any fight you get no rewards other than xp from damage since you did no assit or kills. Yes folks can still XP farm a ship this way, but really who cares about XP farming now a days. It's the marks/gold that shouldn't be allowed to be abused. Oh and I'll add for the soft surrender you should be able to still hoist your colors or hard surrender (this the battle over and you can't do anything). I would put a cool down from doing the soft surrender before you can canceal it and hoist colors. There should be a timer before the ship is ready too so folks aren't doing soft and than return to trick some one suddenly as they close in. Though honestly I think some one that does a soft surrender should only get the optoin to leave the fight if no one comes to board/inspect there cargo or sink them. That way some one can soft surrender, let the fighting ships blow past them and if no one stops to inspect they can after the timer leave the fight.
  15. If you start charging in game for me to teleport between my out posts (not counting the 1 tow a day). I'm sorry I'm out of here and I'll finally make a review and it won't be positive. I don't know where you get this feed back from but this is the most stupid thing I have ever heard of. I can get if you do a zone TP's (none out post free town) that are to ports you don't own so you can set up an Outpost on the other side of the map. From one Freetown to another only. I'm going to take something back I said about econ and the DLCS. Mainly since we haven't had to many shallow PB's, but the last two weeks I hardly had any sales of Shallow water ships in the shallows. Might be cause numbers or so far down but I think it's more cause every one pretty much is only using the Hercs and Reqiuns for every thing. This is I'm sure hurting the little guy that doesn't have other means to make profits....I grind, I sale cannons in two ports, I do trade runs once in a while, I have a very nice stock of back up cash (no where close to some of you rich mothers), but not every one has that. I'm also using 5 accounts to get my stuff down, but guys with one, the casuals and majority of the players doesn't have the option I have and those are the folks the game should be made for.
  16. While I like this as I think repairs are abused way to much in this game. I also think you shouldn't be able to do sail repairs or any repairs while at full sails. Lets make "BATTLESAILS" even more used for what they are ment to be used for, WHILE YOUR IN BATTLE. Make it so no repairs can be done while at full sails and can only be activated in Battle Sails. Maybe have it while your repairing your are locked in that sail setting until it's done, that way you will not have the guys running at 15 knts repairing while using his super stern laser guns to keep a few chasers off all the time. If you where to try to repair sails at full sails you would damage something including crew or very much loose speed cause you have to take the wind force off that sail to do the repair. This will make you choose your repairs more wisely and will go along with the limited chain we now have in game.
  17. Maybe we can get a special class for the ships that kinda fall under both 5/6th rates so that they can be of there own. Even if those ships end up being just DLC or awards (Pandora is suppose to be a 6th rate but has stats close to Cerberus/Niagara, but where will it fall?) Mark them exactly as 5/6th rates, they are shallow water ships that can't get into shallow PB's for balance reason but we can still use them in shallows and Deep water (even deep water PB's). I would have the follow 5th rate mod rules, but it would make the histroy buffs more happy that can't stand we are reclassing a ship for balance reason. @admin posted the draft of a few ships a while back and I think one or two more was just as shallow as the Herc so could be allowed in shallows. That would give us a craftable ship in place of the Herc, but keep it 5th rate and out of the shallows PB. Can't remember if that is the Surprise, Cerberus (think it's this one) or the Reno. He would have to answer that. For now can we for balance and testing just make the Requin 5th rate and that way both DLC will have the same limits. Part of what made them OP in the shallows PB was cause of more firepower and crew and stacked with 6-7th mods made them way above the stats of any other 6th rate in the shallows. They will still have good stats as 5th rates, but they would be better balanced for the game. That and can you raise there freaking BR, it should be around 140. This will limit on how many you can bring into port battles any way so you won't see as many. As a owner of both ships x5 (I put them on all my alts) I would not be upset if the cool down for getting them redeem be changed to 36-48 hours too so they aren't just quick replacement ships for the main ships of the game. They should never be quick replacement from main ships in game. As stated below they are more seen as collectors items, specially if you bring in the San C as the third one or a ship like it that is also a 5th rate. With that see above and could we maybe make a new class of ships for corvettes and other ships that can kinda fall under both 5/6th rates? As a owner of both ships I would say a 48 hour cool down would be much better. Right now the Yatch has a 24 hour and it's a 7th rate. I would add 12 hours to any rate of ship on the cool down. Going of the time to craft is way to short and these are DLCs ships they should not be replacements for crafted ships. You should still feel the lost of a ship not just instant get one back.
  18. I'm kinda wondering when this war suppose to happen, other than maybe UWS attacking french ports really haven't seen anything from either EU side. You guys need to fight more fights, scrap over your boarders (ESTROS is a prime port that should always be in agro). This server is always get to boring when every one is every ones bed buddy.
  19. I notice some folks keep avoiding the crew part like it’s not an issue. It has with no mods a 100 more crew than any other 6th rate. Even if they stacked crew mods they be about equal crew (Niagara) but the Requin can spend those slots on boarding and destroy a board fit Niagara easily and still have slots left for other mods ship knowledge.
  20. That still doesn’t fix the crew stacking problems. Herc isn’t a 5th either. It’s about game balance not realistic things. Other wise wouldn’t the Aggy and Ingermanland be moved back to the 3rd rate slot
  21. Pushing players out of the not safe zones won’t help. I don’t get where the guys think forcing some one to do something they don’t want to do. It’s like for ring PvPers to go play on the PVE server for a week. Some folks just want to play the game casually, kill some AI and not get tanked every two seconds. This is the meat of the players if this game. Don’t see why it’s so hard to let them have a true safe zone in the easy nations. You don’t want safe zones than don’t play an easy nation. You want RvR/PvP than go pick a fight with a RVR/PvP owned port. Every time one of the good high dollar ports gets hit there is tons of PVP and RvR for all involved. Those ports should never be off Afro cool down ever. I really don’t see any one asking to nerf it to death except a few non vets that don’t understand the game mechanics. The Vets keep asking for the same thing. Make it a 5th rate to fix the high mod stacking of its already high crew which is 100 more than any 6th rate in game. Give both it and the Herc proper BR around 140 to match its in game stats. That is not nerfing it to death. I don’t see why we don’t just run those simple fixes first along with a few bug issues.

Last I heard some time after localization but most likely after release of the game they will work on it, prob about the same time frame they might actually do something about pirates. #WHENSEPTEMBERCOMES The only other ship I seen screenshots of is the Pandora, but we won't get that until release (which I don't know why we don't just get it now). Though would be nice to get another frigate or even a 3rd rate in game. A 2nd rate would be nice too, but honestly I really would like to see a 2/3 with 32's on both bottom decks than anything right now. @admin Ok sorry to do this, but you do know there is only 2 weeks left in this month. So we will see some balance patches next week or the week after? Going track record I'm not going to hold my breath on us getting anything this month.
