I don’t think that is the general view, maybe view of some. Why should we cater to 100 players when it’s the 1900 we want to stay around. Server pretty dead with 100. It would be much more fun with 1900 instead. The Division tried this to make elitist happy and pretty much killed the game and we are talking about a AAA game company. They had to go back to late and tweet the game for the average players over all. It was to late as the damage was done. They said they learned from this and won’t do it with The Division2. I’m going have to do some SOL hunting with my Christian as in the past o got crappy loot from SOL. Basic mods and one time 198 doubloons off a Santi. Need to open some slots on it after all;)

It’s 6k for the level 3 but the problem I know in the past is a lot of folks don’t want to depend on a clan to build so they make there own. Some clans have more than one. I currently have 3 level but one I can dump. 3 level 2 but only one I’m realy using to get my last char crafting up to 50. I do t see a problem with the shipyard price as you realy only need the level 2 and Thant just 1k doubloons. Which isn’t hard to get. Not every one has to build first rates and with it costing more gives more reason to have just a few guys specialize in them and that it. can we get it where we can convert VM to doubloons. We can buy VM with doubloons which isn’t far for the RvR guys that they can’t be converted back. That or don’t allow folks to buy them so they would be a market for them. Right now there realy isn’t a market for VM.

See your putting words in my mouth. I said you prob don’t PVP much and I worded it as a question not a statement of your actions. Simply cause I don’t know how much you do or don’t do. Again you stated I should use my VM to build ships, they are only used in. Building SOL’s. so that would mean I should build them and go fight in them. As for market of VM to real to doubloons I would have to look that up but back to the topic I stated we should be able to turn them in for doubloons. You can buy 1 VM for 1000 doubloons. So why shouldn’t we trade them back for the same? If I would them for reals and bought doubloons with my reward I would loose money and it means VM and RvR is pointless as the only reward other than owning the port has useless rewards. I take it your against it cause you don’t RvR or gain VM? -

I have about half a dozen first rates. About a dozen Bellonas. 5 chars with three of them with 27 dock space loaded up. I have a job and work so I can’t be on all the time to fight. Oh and I’m sitting on over 200 VM as my clan at one time owned 10 ports. Believe me I’m no where near where other players are. When we had Marsh Harbour port battle I gave out over a dozen H Rattlers with cannons and some where purple. I can make anouther dozen 1St rates of it wasn’t for the doubloons needed. Why would I go out solo in a 1st rate like a noob to just loose it? That the most regarded thing I ever heard. I take it you don’t PvP much? Most of it is done in 5th and 4th rates not SOL. right now what holds folks back from making SOL is not VM it’s doubloons and they aren’t cheap so folks aren’t using them. I take it you don’t go fight in them either or craft them? -
Flipping a port should be the announcement you plan to attack and should be a pain or end of things. You prevent the attack day of with screeners and your port battle fleet. That why I brought up having the flags worth 25-33% hostility and can only be pulled one at a time for that clan. If some pulls a flag it should only effect that clan. Remember the old flag system was instant port battles when planted. Do a stage flag system and also keep the missions and OW kills as means to gain or lower hostility.

Oh I agree with you and I think double and charge should be auto just like chain shot is. Perk system really needs revamped. I personnel would love to just return the grid and cords as they are not a god dot folks act like they are. You still got to figure out where you are on the map. We should never had to use 3rd party stuff to do what should been in the game any way.

The problem right now with the WASA is it's a PvP Mark/DOUBLOON only ship. Folks wouldn't use it cause it was cheaper to just make a Bellona instead. You should make it craftable again and I bet it will get popular again. Maybe make the BP only for DOUBLOONs or something or even VM's (we need something to do with them). -
Remember when we had that PvP zone down in the GREAT BAHAMA BANK are? We should have another there that isn't apart of the Nassau Patrol zone. Make that area like a perm PvP DEATH FFA zone that any one can join the battles and fight any one. There is no sides so even same nation players can kill each other. It's so not being used other than a few lonely trade ships that fly through that area. I think we will see it more used by casuals and newer players than anything. I'm just hoping grids put back on the map along with it. So even though if we don't have the perk we can tell some one to meet at this spot. Than they can figure out how to get there. Or they could use the perk to assist them if they have problems navigating the map.

See below. Wasn't it 46 hours though so it put the PB two hours early than when you flipped it. I think it's good and bad. It's good cause it gave time to prep, it's bad cause folks loose the motion of doing the battle and being ready and than forget to show up. You would have to flip a port on Wed to get a friday night Port battle. Or flip it on a Thurs (one of the slowest nights of the game number wise) to get a Saterday port battle. I notice better numbers when it was dropped to 24......just don't go to 22 or 46 cause that crap was kiling us cause you had to stay up later to flip a port more early or get it in prim time. Though one thing that might help is if there was a way to put AGRO on over time instead of just the 3 hour window. LIke you can put 25-50% a head of time and turn the port into a PvP HOTZONE that has increased bonus for PvP and fighting, but the AGRO can never go above that, but it can be removed by sinking the attackers ships. Thus you know to be ready the next day for the rest of the agro at start of the window. We really need mulit ways to do agro like POTBS had and when you did that it would build up slowly and than a port battle would be created once the total agro was meet. They had goods you brought to raise/lower the agro along with killing ships. I know war supplies wasn't the greatest thing, but maybe a thought is bring them back but make them more expensive and worth less numbers so you can't just bomb it all of sudden. Make it where flipping a port can take a while, but don't make it all just AI flip grind of the port.. That could be the last resort if no PvP happens once you turn it into a PvP HOT ZONE.

Honestly perks like DOuble Ball and Double Charge should be included just like Chain is, it's limited use just like chain. I really think they need to dump the perk system and do something like you earn certain ckills as you level up or even once you learned the basic ones that every one should know by Rank 10 the extras you can buy (what are we doing with all this XP we are gaining after RA?).

Hecules BR 220 Sides 3415 HP Cerberus BR 165 Sides 3488 HP Surprise BR 165 Sides 3552 Renommee BR 179 Sides 3760 H Rattler BR 90 Sides 2639. While most of the crafted ships can match HP and more of the Herc they actually have more crew than it does and can manage those guns better and even set up for build. Every one can craft these ships. While I kinda agree DLC's should not be in PB's but lets test it, they can always take things out after all. Oh and these are all Teak/Wo builds I just made to test stats currently. If one was to take the lighter ships they could get more ships into a PB if they choose. I takeing reno and suprises out with Naiga's and H Rattlers. That is why asked in the other post if @admin will let us test this in the OW first before any ship is allowed in PB's. I think we should test the light frigates in PB's before the DLC are added. DLC honestly shouldn't be allowed simply cause not every one owns the, but every one can have a crafted ship made in game if they want. They really need to redo the perk system. Combat Perks should be tied to the Rank of your Char and Crafting perks should be tied to the Level of your crafting, not both tied to Rank only.

I think it would work better if they did something like if a clan/nation owns the region they get a bigger table of perks the ship might have (open up the AI perks to that table). Thuse encourageing nations/clans to own more than one port or control a region for the better crafting options. That way not one nation/clan can control certain pots that can only give one special perk. Keeps it more a even playing field as all you ahve to do is own the region. Maybe make it so that it can only be crafted at the capital too.

Are we getting grids back on the map? Cause cords don’t mean any thing without grids. you should do like the yacht and make a cute off date for the pandora. Kinda not far a guy testing for 2 years gets the same reward as some one that just bought the game. Maybe when it goes beta only those in the alpha get it.

I know a lot of the old pre-wipe BLACK pvp2 guys that stopped playing mainly cause there wouldn’t be any more or as many 25 vs 25 1st rate port battles. It was good to have some ports with low BR PB but they had to many in my view with very little BR that limited who got to play and that left out a lot of players stuck just screening cause you wanted your best in the Lowe BR port.

This is a sandbox no lobbies. While it was great system in POTBS it leaves out a lot of elements of fleets actually showing up. I would prefer a flag system and once planted PB 24 hours. Until than the zone around port is hot red PvP zone where all rewards are boosted. This encouraging more fights until the PB. Port stays a red hot zone until port is off cool down.

That is prob the most useless port in the Bahamas. It’s been dropped and picked up so many times just to give guys VM, which don’t mean crap now cause they are useless and can be boaught with doubloons. I’m sure you get a few players to show up but no worthy fight over it.

What if we go back to region owners. You only fight over the regional capital and if you win you get the whole region instead of fighting over each port. Raise the BR up a bit too. If they ever figure out raids they could be the low BR attacks on single ports that you hold for short time than revert back to owner. One of the issues right now is too many ports and too many useless ports.

I call BS as most of the trolls we caught lately farming didn’t even put mods on the ships cause they are throw away and can redeem anouther the next day. That is if they didn’t do fleet truck to stock pile a head of time. They just use the 5 ship knowledge slots. Without mods the LRQ can still run from most ships easly. -
Here is the issue that killed US with RvR. Back when the game was more active we had about 30-50 players that would show up to port battles. Great Screening fleet that when they did there actual job could keep folks out of the ports so we could keep them. The problem is they didn't have enough none casual expierence PvPers. SO when we would attack and only 5-10 players could get into the port battle those 5-10 wasn't good enough to fight elite players holding down ports. Most of the ports we lost early on was cause of game mechanic (dead clans not being able to trade to active clans) changes and well just flat out human error (folks forgetting to put timers on.) With that there are two things that I mention above that needs to happen. Important ports should have bigger BR's than the majority that are 2500 and 5K along the US coast. Only ports that should have that low BR are none important or shallow ports. The other thing is we need a way to switch ports in nation between clans. So that way a dead clan can hand an important port over to an active clan. This killed us more than anything on loosing over half the ports over time. Cuase not every one wants to get up at the crack of dawn (actually early than that) and be on right at server reset time. As for going after ports that don't have timers, it's getting there and setting the agro. Every time we would try to hit a French or Prussian ports we would start and French, Prussian, Pirates would all come out and smash the fleet and not fight each other. They had most of the Vets in there time zone so it was easy for them to jump into a mission and kill off 10 guys fighting 10 and most the time very wounded. This discourage folks for showing up. Numbers started to drop and than you where down to maybe 10 guys that might want to do something and or less. No more screeners to keep folks out of PB and lost of ports. Lets not add getting constantly farmed every day in front of your capital. @admin still never showed us the Death list on those stats the other day. I bet the folks that die the most get hardly any if any at all kills them selves. It gets frustrating when you are never winning. Hint why right now I prob couldn't get 5-10 guys to muster up. I was really suprise we had 20 for Marsh Harbor and 6 of those guys where 1st Lt's that just joined the game. Great guys and hard players but I fear we might loose them cause of the farming. They all ready complain they can't get out of port to level up without getting ganked half the time. This is why we need true safe zones for casuals to level up and enjoy the game so we can keep them around.

It worked in POTBS, but they had the victory thing and the time set thing....so you couldln't drag it out and not have a victory. Dude really it's more than folks are doing now and you do know it's a PvP/PvE server, some times you actually do have to kill AI you know, but if they fix the hostility to make it easier and not such a grind than something is better than nothing. I think the problem is we have to many folks that don't like PvE when just about every game out there is mainly PvE......with a grind to get just about every thing and than PvP. How else you plan to open up those slots on your ships....oh wait we have been playing for ever and our slots are all ready open....I see the problem. As for US ports, come help us take them....your good at that aren't you, or do you only play on the best of the best teams? I never seen you play on an underdog team. Would be nice to see some of these so call pros actually take on a challenge.
