And yes I know we are suppose to be hard mode, but Pirates don't get alliances and well some of the small nations don't get that either. Right no on PvP2 we have the three largest nations allianged with each other. Even they are trying to figure who they can fight since the Pirates aren't putting up a fight any more cause folks don't want to fight a 25 vs 5 fight (well more like 10). That what happens when there is no balance and checks for the system and power alliances can be made. They didn't put in capture the capital so right now nations like Spain, Swede or Franch with like 10 players (yes we know spain has less than that). They could be easly crushed to one port and keeped that way. With no map reset or total conquest you can have two a very stail map that no one fights and only the tow power nations have every thing. Than you get folks leaving and switching nations and than you get even more problem than we have about poplation and game play. I all ready watched some of the small nations try to have alliances with one of the biggers, but they can't cause one of there alliances buddies is at war with that smaller nation so it auto fails. There seems to be no end game or resets so the game is going to grind to even more of a boring hault where no one does anything any more. We are just seeing it sooner on PvP2 than PvP1 cause of our smaller population.

lol the sad thing is I'm at home on the laptop.....I'll just blame it on my Cats search habits. I know she looks at midget porn when I'm not home. Hell I can't spell for crap any way or type. I'm always going back and editing my post cause of that. I'm an offshore oil rig hand not an English major dang-it....lol

But I think some areas do have hidden stat changes. I made something the other day that shouldn't have added structure and noticed it did. I think it was a cedar rattler for some one. Than again it was exceptional and they are suppose to have stat boost over a basic ship. Remember basic ships no longer have negative stats they are the base line of ships so all above that got a slight boost.

Oh one thing is changed. The PvE missions are now Rattler not the Cerberus. Are we going to get some extra dry docks or something if we are going to have to keep all these extra ships around to do these mission? DRY DOCKS even if it's clan only would rock. Though I would love to have a small dock as a player in my capital to put ships I'm not currently using in game or ships like event ships. I won't use these Cerberus I made prob for a long time until they come up again on any PvE event missions.

I kinda like the two circle thing cause OW speed is not the same as battle speed/time so if your not that close you should be able to get in. Devs even said they did it for any one about 2 mins from the battle but I don't see it like that unless it's two mins bad wind to get there. Than most of them wouldn't of made it in time any way. I do agree the tag should be dropped to 10-15 secs. Though what they really need to do is MAKE IT SO EVERY ONE IN GROUP CAN SEE IT. That way they know if I tag some one to get there but into the center circle or they will be far away. I have had so many tags messed up cause the 20 secs just take to long and folks can move all over the freaking place and out of the small inner circle in that time. If your that close to tag some one than you should be able to tag them and be in battle not have to continue to chase them down and keep it for 20 seconds.. The rest of the stuff I agree with too though I think no tage/join pull for 3 mins is way to long. Leave that as is and keep the two circle system but fix the AI on OW. I don't mind there being ships out there to watch out for, but freaking why is every fleet SOL's and why is there so many war ships over trader/merchants. Put some more merchant fleets out there with escorts than just the solos and drop the number of SOL's National Capital regions of course should have a lot of fleets as that is the Nations main hub. It's just all other areas. I don't mind the fortifications either, but there are some spots the forts should be just towers. I'm all game for them to be at ports to protect you when your just about to get into port and have to wait for the enter tab to pop up. There are a few ports that are still a pain to get into even with shallow ships and could be a tag nightmare for any one trying to get into the safety of ports. Those are the ones that prob should have forts for sure. Cause if you hadn't got that tag than you way to close to that port any way if they are about to enter it.

You sure that isn't just the stats changed since pre patch? We where kinda noticing that when the patch came out but they said they tweaked the states of the ships from pre-patch. If you compare to exact builds from two different regions we where getting the same buffed turn rate, speed and other stats that wasn't effected by the regional bonus. Don't compare any new builds to pre-patch builds cause the states are going to be off. I think they kinda did the grand father over thing. Any thing built the old patches keep there stats as is pre-patch since they aren't really better stats.

Yah they normally would have the notes out by now and nothing. Would be nice to know if this down time and updates will be every dang day now or they actually doing hotfix and what they are doing. Some basic format would be nice so we know what to not look for or to look for when we are play testing things.

I actually took a gun boat out yesterday and had a blast. Did a a three vs 1 against some brits in 5th rates. Yah they sunk me, but I did ripe them all new sterns and we where laughing at how many times they shot each other missing me. So it's not all about the rewards and kills. Than the next event the Dutch pretty much sat on top of me so no one would tag me. I wanted to catch a big group fighting and join one side and be an annoying nat to the other side, but they where there setting up equal matches with the Brits instead of ganks to make it fair for all. So not every one is doing gank fest. Well at least on PvP2. I think once they add in assistance points it won't be as bad as it has been. I have gotten the PvP reward 3 times and PvE twice so far. I figure I'll get my kills when I get them and let others have fun too. Oh and after talking with the Dutch we are prob going to arrange to do a gunboat/little boat big brawl some time soon where all sides bring small ships like that. We are talking like starter ships and get as many new players into the action and have fun. -

actually it's 3 x PvP and it pays out shortly after the event is over. The PvE runs all day and pays out after server reset. You have more chance to win in the PvP one if you can get some kills. That is 60% chance to win something over 40% in PvE. I do like the BR difference thing cause we been kinda avoiding the eve PvP missions for US time cause of gank squads making it not fun. Than the funny thing is folks complaining cause Pirates won't come and fight and they can't fight each other cause they are almost all aligned with each other. Should of thought of that before you made your power house alliance on PvP2 folks. Maybe it's time to break some and actually have Nation vs Nations instead of every one kill Pirates. -

Maybe like give pirates some proper mechanics so we aren't just another nation with no alliances. That would be one way to prob get some folks back. -
Not all regions have to have the same level of perks. You notice that the ones that have extra stuff are the ones named an located in certain regions (Spanish Pirate, French, British?) The rest are more just small perks if you build in those area's. They aren't meant to be on the same level as other stronger regions. So now speed should not get a buff. Specially since one of the only regions to get cedar also has Regional Speed bonus.

If this was Hotfix 2 for the patch, what was hotfix one? Waiting on the Patch Notes for today Hotfix 3.

That would be cool instead of just listing no name. I mean we can guess which one are prize ships but that would be cool to say I have a DEV built ship lol The only problem with the shallow waters only having shallow prize is there is only one shallow water prize. They need to get that one US ship that is like the privateer with for guns in game. That would be a cool little prize. I all ways wonder why the hell the privateer doesn't have for guns or even aft as the model shows gun ports for it. Some one once said it would be op, but that little thing is so fragile.

Yah they are acting like you have to do these. This is just anther optoin of things that can be done. It would be a PvE styel event in the OW instead of some room mission. Will there be risk? Yes. Will you be fighting players? Maybe as you will have to get to the location and back. While the mission it self is against AI ships your still have to get your loot back to your home ports. I would say these mission will be away from main hubs/capitals too. Though only one nation/group can grab it, it's after the event you have to still get your goods home to port. Allso they can do it like epic events and they can be spread all over the OW so they aren't in just one or two places and they aren't set to any certain times.-

These would be PvE OW missions not part of the PvP events at all. Junk loot would be stuff like the trade goods in each port that you can buy and sale. At least that is how I would see it. It's stuff that you can just trade into for gold. Though I was thinking one issue would be the fact we don't have have tradable loot yet at the battle screen so if one guy boards all the traders he has to pick what he wants to keep instead of keeping it all. Would mean you will have to use team work and have more than one person that is dedicated boarder or trader. They really do need to come up with a team loot trade after battles. If we all worked for something we should get a split int he loot or be able to get it back to port to split it. -

MAKE EPIC FLEETS EPIC ONCE MORE...... They seem to be all over the place and I don't see many using them as they use to. Give them treasure fleets that you have to actual capture and take the loot from the ships. You either bring in your own trader and fight with a fleet of friends or you have to capture and take command of the traders and sail them back to port. Like you said add junk loot or well the tradable loot that is in most port. Though give a rare chance one of the ships might have a chest with paint or ships deeds on it. Maybe even more rare a chance for one of the BP's. The loot system really needs a work over. I think the last Curse level fleet I did I got a grey mod from it. I did an epic once and got the same. How is a grey mod that I can craft exceptional level worth doing epic missions other than to help some one power level or something cause I can more more gold trading and i don't need the xp cause I'm top level. This would work great for the admiralty shop they are talking about cause it can go towards points they get from doing these missions.-

lol him and the guys on PvP1 ruined it for us. Dang and will these idiots sink. Got 14 leaks in one so I turned on the other and he sank finally as I was finishing off the other. I think I have the worse luck with the time one. They keep doing circles into the wind and opposite direction from me over and over.

It's actually very much on topic. You are saying to change something cause the player base numbers don't support it. That is the same thing as folks saying we should merge the servers. Since we are low pop we should not change game functions just to match the low population while testing. So the AFK kick should stay the same no matter if we have 100 players or 10000000000 players. If the mind set that we have less players it needs to be changed would be the same well we don't have 1000 players any more so we don't need three servers we only need one to support the 100 players. See what I'm saying here? Leave the features as is. Numbers will go up and down as we test and no need to add extra code changes and tweeks that don't really need to be put in there cause folks are to lazy to atl tab and keep there game a live or stay at there computer. I'm sorry if your not at your computer than you don't need to be in the game. Many other games have pretty much the same timer kicks so it's nothing new.
