See your looking at it wrong, PvP is x2 of xp of PvE......though I agree it's way to low right now specially if you kill any lower level ship than you have. With AI buff it's going to be hard to kill a higher rank ship than you have and with every one starting with no books and such we will see even more folks getting killed by AI than in the past. I don't think the devs thought this through very wall. AI should be balanced against Oak/Oak ships, not LO/WO ships. I don't expect to rank up over night, but it better not take me a year to rank up. I mean I all ready did it 5 times I don't want to do it 5 more times. I'm honestly going to be wasting money spent as I won't have time to level up the alts again like I had in the past. PS: I put Dutch for that poll someone made about what nation we are going to....lol I still have no clue what nation I'm going with a few clan mates that stated they are coming back. I really want to know if the alliance system is going to be put in or not.

Port-upgraded 1st rates

The problem is that cart and Navy hull are no longer percentage based so they add on before the 30% cap is worked in. Other wise just the Port bonus and LO/WO would cap out the AR rating. Maybe it's time to make the either % again or make it where you can't stack and than count the 30%. -

we got the Pandora DLC (and any other DLC youown) and it seems that is pretty much it for War server. All redeemables will be wiped with the rest of the stuff. Though it would be really nice if they posted a "this is what we expect" and patch notes before the wipe so we can get a lot of answers. -
Wait when did Cornelius pass? We all expect Captain Jack with his health. It’s cause they never planed it in the first place. They said since day one they won’t really support any thing PVE until maybe after release. The main goal has always been the main game on the War server. Though I agree. I think they could make a better game by giving more things to do on the Peace server. That why numbers gone up cause folks don’t want to start over so they went over to play on it. At least until the wipe.

Transfer from War to Peace servers

And once again you just describe exactly what clans do in war server. Both servers are exactly the same when it comes to this aspect. Clans pick up new players and help them out. 90% of the game play is PVE for most players on either sever. Stop trying to act like they are different. They only difference is on war you can loose your stuff to others players attack that is it. We all have the same crafting and Econ system as each other. If not war actually had more PVE aspect cause you have the port investment stuff to pay into if you own a port which takes more cooperation between clans and players of a nation. I'm really thinking you have no clue what goes on War server at all. It takes a lot of cooperation and organization to run clans and wars and supply ships. As for the wipe that isn’t my pref. I would prefer to have redeemable of my cap and ship knowledge transferred to Peace server that I worked so hard to get over the years in case I don’t have time to play on war server. It would like to go out in a big ship and have an hour or two fun. -
Sine we won't see the servers tied back together like they use to be linked to steam accounts. I would suggest that we be allowed to transfer our current chars on War server to Peace serve so we can keep all our books and learned ship knowledge if we decide we want to play on that server instead after wipe. I mean why is it fair they get to keep all this and we on War that worked hard don't get to keep anything? The other thing would be to tie you xp learned on each serve to our steam account again. So some one can level upon Peace server if they want and than go war over on war server. The only problem with this is that you would have to completely wipe Peace server to work.

Uh you do know that PvE keeps all its' Rank, Crafting and ship/book knowledge right? All ya'll are loosing is your resources, mods and Ships. How would you have to stop and refill your own? All you have to do is use DLC, Craft new ships, or just capture them (you know something we can't do on WAR?). I really honestly don't think you know how the War server works. Again the game is 90% PvE. We do the same thing ya'll do with just risk of another player attacking us is all. In fact a very good clan is all about cooperation with one another and the best clans/nations out there is cause of this. Yes there is competition, something PvE actually lacks and prob should have in trade and economics if anything. Than new players would have more chance to be helped by vets as there would be more ships built and supplies ready. Hell ya'll can buy rare woods so you don't even have to go searching for it. You basicly have every thing handed to you and your complaining your going to have to get new ships. That is all you are loosing is your resources and ships. Try to rebuild all that with a level zero char? With as much bitching they are doing over just loosign ships and resources I honestly starting to think it would only be fair that every one starts the same way. That or Devs let us transfer our War chars to Peace server so we don't have to relevel up if that is what we want to do. So we can have the same treatment as they get with our game. I mean I want to keep all my books I earned and crafting levels and such too? -
Learn how to mulit task and well it's called having mulit monitors so you can do more than one thing. I mean have you not every AFK Sale from one end of the map to another. You got to have something else to do while your ship is just floating about in the middle of no where. Than and also post during other times when I'm not playing and I been very involved in this game since 2016. it's what testers do, they give feed back of a game they are testing for the better or worse. PS: It's not 6452 post, that is my likes of post I made, my actual post count is 7934.

The way to get things done is you keep suggesting and improving on those suggestions. This is why I also bring up good way to test raids out against NPC is by having them on Peace servers for you guys. Cause your not the only players in the game.........new players still have to level up and open up those ship slots. GEEEEEE are all you guys so closed minded and only thinking of yourselves? Screw it I think they should wipe the Peace server too, why should they keep there slots and ranks if we don't either? Apparently they have all ready done every thing so they should start over too......there....better suggestion so now you will have to open up all those slots again and re-rank up with the rest of us? True but than the ports will be stuck that way unless they do map resets. I would say let them attack the neutral AI and take the port but reset the map every 3-4 months back to historic map. I have suggested this several times and I assume it's something simular what the Devs mention to allow "economic Sabotage" -
LOL as for my superiority complex, well I do have over 9K hours in this game, one would think the majority of that was done doing PvE in game, just I do it with a bit more risk than some one on the Peace server. I really don't get where ya'll think that they are any diffrent. One server you can fight AI in peace, the other you can fight it with risk of other players. As for being test rats, you know that you where never promised a server or PvE only game from the Devs. They only open a PvE server at the request of a few players that wanted something else. It was never part of the promise of the game from day one so they didn't have to give you such a place. I think that was a mistake, instead they should of worked on one server with content for all having zones to play inpeace in and zones to fight in. If any one seems to have a complex it's the PvE guys that think the world revolves around them and they should get every thing easy and free without having to fight hard for it. Epic missions where done with old style ships for a long time, so don't get where you need Elite ships to do them. He'll ya'll get to capture 1st rates over there so you don't even have to craft ships. Also where have I said ya'll shouldn't have good crafting. Unlike you PvE guys I have made several suggestions in this topic of how to allow ya'll to get port crafting involved in your server. (allow port capture against AI, give ports perm points for crafting in those ports, etc) What have ya'll suggested other than just complain you can't have ELITE SHIPS? Lets hear some suggestions from ya'll cause I have yet to see one in this thread or others?

PVE rewards

PvP is only x2 the rewards so it's not really going to be that much. It's been that way for a while. I remember my first PvP fight on my second char I tagged a GB Bucc (the old teak/crew/speed we got free) with my Spanish char in a rattler (the normal). I keep him tagged in and shot his sails until some rats caught up with him. The fight got me a level and half from the xp back than. It seems rewards are still lacking these days as you wouldn't get anything close to what you use to get in PvP. -

As Wraith stater split rewards always suck as you share with others. I noticed brigs killed with a H rattler only gives me like 30-40xp when it use to give me close to 100+. They are same tier (6th) ships and that is going to take for ever to open slots and level up. With buff AI for none shallow ships it's almost suicidal for the average player to take on a higher tier ship. I get they want us to take our time, but really I'm not wanting to spend a year to rank up again in this game. I already ranked up 5 times....honestly I'm not even going to play my alts after release to much grind and time. Wasted money I put into a game we where suppose to keep our ranks. -
You do understand that 90% of this game no matter what server you play on is PvE? My life on War Server is no diffrent than yours....oh wait except I take a risk of an actual player attacking me and sinking me.....PvE takes no risk unless they engage AI. Actually I prob know way more about PvE than most do since I been a main crafter and clan leader running very strong production lines that has to do with a lot of crafting, trading and PvE to get things done. So please don't say what I know or don't know about the game. I actually play all aspects of the game and not just a small part of one or another. I mean why else would I have freaking 5 chars on this game if I didn't do it for the PvE and crafting parts of this game to get a head cause you can only fight with 1 or 2 at a time (most I had in battle was three ages ago).

Gold ships are suppose to be rare. I only crafted 2 out of prob a 1K ships I have crafted with maybe a dozen purple ships. So you shouldn't expect them every time. I swear all I hear ya'll do is cry instead of trying to come up with solutions. Again why are you acting like every ship you fight is an ELITE? They are rare, they are suppose to be tuff, but they aren't every ship. How about this? Make a suggestion that the ports are randomly given investments, kinda like we had the old port perks, but it's perm for ya'll since you can't capture ports and invest in them. You might not get a port with all 4's, but you might get a port that specialize in speed builds while anther in Hulll builds while maybe another reloads. That the thing, they are comparing the stats to current mods and Port Bonus, we don't know what the nerf is going to look like. It might not be any better than a good crafted ship with certain mods. Also it's going to take a long time for folks to get ports to mostly 3/4's like we did in weeks with all our goods stocked up. With the wipe we wont' have all that resources ready on hand to have an instant 3/4 port in a week or two. -

Not exactly true, most pirates where actually Privateers for another nation at one time or another. It was only when they didn't have jobs they tend to go to full blown piracy. So this attitude that they are all for them self and one else isn't exactly true. I see normal pirates as more privateers and the old outlaw concept was the full blown pirates, the only issue is they can't privater out to nations. Well I mean they can still screen and fight in the OW, just not PB/RvR stuff. -

Even with port bonus you are still limited to the caps in each group, 30% cap for AR and HP is still 30% cap. You can reach these same caps with mods too, the port bonus and only if you have them set at 4 and you can't have all at 4's (or won't be able to with future port changes). Port bonus don't bypass caps for stats though. So yes you can have a Old Gold Ship with better stats then an average blue port bonus (not expecting every one to have max 4 port in all groups). -

How exactly has crafting been killed? A good ship crafted still gets the job done than gettting a Fir/WO ELITE ship of a build of RNG....I'm sorry I just don't get this my set that ELITE RNG AI ships is better than a crafted ship you can build the way you want to build it. Perks or not all ships have to follow the max stats for the game. You can't get more than 30% HP's either way. All the port bonus did was make a Oak/Oak ship basicly same as an old crafted Wo/Wo ship (just going off Hull 4 stat only). The rest of the stuff could be cover easily with mods. -

Other than Elite's which are a very small part of the OW, the rest of the AI are the same ones we all been fighting before port bonus so why do you need Port Bonuses? The only people that have them on PvP is other players not AI. If you where fighting other players than I see why you need them, but you don't have PvP and RvR. I suggested doing map wipes every three months and letting ya'll do PB's against AI and captured ports and owning them until the next reset but got so much back lash from PvE guys that want to use all the ports no matter nation of owner. To many of your guys want all the cake and do nothing for it. -
How are gold ships worthless? Your still fighting the same AI we all fought before port bonus. The only folks that fight against port bonus ships are PvP players. Yes you can say elite ships might be port bonus, but wasn't EPIC missions also done with the same ships we used before port bonus too? The other day Iogged into PvE and someone was instantly toxic towards me. All I did was answer a simple question and agreed they gave ya'll way to few cannons cause 10-15 won't fit on any ship that took them. I'm sorry I seen just as much toxicity from PvE guys on here any time you make any suggestions good or bad. I played on PvE off and on with my Spanish (second account) since I bought him. Until recently it honestly was nothing really to do over there, so getting more content and missions is always a good thing. That is why I suggest doing map resets and let ya'll capture ports and get to craft port bonus for 3 months and than have map rest. You don't loose anything as you just have to capture the port right back. Every time we try to suggest things that would help we get so much back lash from the few PvE Forum Warriors that don't seem to want a change or better server. This has always been the reason I loved the suggestion of turning the Gulf of Mexico into a PvE zone and have French and Spain be PvE/PvP nations and than have the rest of the map PvP. One server means combine content for all. Most games do it like this with PvE and PvP zones. Maybe could even work US and GB into that with some of the ports given to them in the GoM.

I get why ships and resources should be wipe on both servers do every one gets a fresh start and we don’t know what ship changes they might do on release build, but blows my mind they are complaining when they keep every thing else. It won’t be long for them to have things built back up cause they don’t have to level back up. Hell I wish I could transfer my rank/crafting and knowledge over there and play with it. It’s funny I see just as much toxic level from the PVE guys as PvP. There a reason I have a Spanish Main on PVE I don’t let folks know about. When I log in My main there is always on toxic guy that prob just knows my name from the futons. Funny thing is I have put in a lot of suggestions to try to make PVE a better place. Yes I still think there should be one server with zones but hay that is just my option. Mainly cause having all resource in one game/server means more content for all.

Hell I got well over 500 into the game between alts and DLC's for them. Would of expected something to come out of that a while back, but agree they really need to update there FB, webpage and other things that are so out of date. Hell I just would like to know the release patch notes so we know if they are doing the alliance or what and which nations we might want to move to and what game mechanics they are keeping to or once again changing on us. -

I thought the 87 pen was at 250m? With 115 at 100m so it would actually be some where in the middle at 150m....so about 101 pen? The thing is from my experience most the time when folks said they didn't pen they weren't exactly 90 like they say or they where aiming at angled sides (not all ships are flat ). You can still bounce shots even up close if they have a bit of curve to the hull (like the Bell Poule does and is known for doing). That or was a lot further than 150m. I agree with the rest, if your going to try to brawl with the Aggy her's going to tear you to pieces broad side to broad side other wise (HP difference and Broad side), but use you agility to wear him down.
