I always watch for some one to burn there crew/rum in a fight. Than that is when I go in for the board while it's on cool down so they can't pop it. Saving my own for the fight.

Yep tested it captured a AI trader just to see and got 50 xp for the damage I did. Going to be nice for the new guys and guys still leveling up. I been fighting this since testbed before the wipe.

Shroud is just where they start if they are new chars. So really they can be beaten back to what ever Free Towns they want to hold up in (or neutral ports). Oh found out my first "NEW NATION PROBLEM." I didn't reset my perks before I switched and I was just thinking I prob don't need Mortar Brig on this guy any more....I CAN'T BUY PERK RESET LOL I guess I'll have to get some one to buy it for me and trade or something.

Surprise was like 60K and a 1st rate was something like 250K.

Yep I"m getting Ping Spikes on GLOBAL. Any one else? I normally get around 50-60 and it's spiking up to around 200.

Oh and i played on while chasing that Trader Brig and won 100 gold that one round...woot woot I"m rich.....

So I hit a poor Trader Brig just now. Captured it and got 50 xp along with the ship so that is nice that I got xp for the damage I did. Prices for the ships tow seems pretty far so far so it's not cheap to just zip your ships all over. Ok problem I keep crashing on my clients. Though it seems only when in port so far haven't had it happen in battle or OW. Though open world seem seems real twitchy too.

That would be what folks do any way, but I assume that would still give you very little xp as you honestly don't do much damage to sails. @Ink @admin If I drop a clan tag so some one else can use it for another clan/nation how long does it take for that clan tag to be able to be used by the other player? I had a clan tag on EU that I dropped so some good fellows can use it with the offer to trade it for use of it on GLOBAL where I play any way. Got to help out some Prussian's get there clan up and going.

PvP content should never be locked be hind PvE content or who ever is the riches that can out pay every one. There should be a means in game through like a PvP mark system that we can get anything PvP related through PvP marks that any player can get through RNG loot in PvE. I have to agree with this pretty much fully. Drop the 15 knt cap as it done nothing but make all ships the same and every one goes speed fit. It was like this on POTBS so they made it so when you stack mods you lost % the more you stack. Speed meta is over done. Glad they went to the 12 min thing, but I think they should make the repair more slower than it is now and that might make it better. It's to easy to just hit a button and be almost fully repaired in a short time. Each ship has it roles, if your in a ship that can't stop some one kiing you tahn maybe you should of brought support ships, but they don't have any role in game right now with only certain meta ships being used. I think the Wasa as a ship is fine but the BR needs to be bumped up to like 300. Make it so it's not the new META for port battles but the easy to get OW hunting ship for every one to use that isn't into RvR. The other thing is bring back the old pre-nerf stats of ships like the Aggy and Connie so they can be of use. A few other ships need this done to them too. WE have to many ships not being used in game cause of balance issues.

Did you have money in your clan warehouse? If you don't keep enough money in clan even right when you capture a port to pay for upkeep it goes back to neutral. It pays out the upkeep in order of the ports you captured so if it paid the other ports you clan own and you ran out of money the last port is the ones to drop. Even if you have a port at the end that makes enough to pay for all the other ports.

Come on Aster ya'll all ready accuse every one and there mothers as being alt when most those guys are just new players. Can you imagine how bad it would be if you had Pirate vs Pirate too? Your nation would pretty much implode and kill it self. It works well in Pirates for us on our server cause of how we run the Nation as more a Republic and while we do push some weight around when some clan acts out of line (or is proven US spies as the only two time we used it against a clan with HELL and TRR and you prob can see how effective that was). The other thing most of the known alts aren't the ones you have to worry about. It's the ones you don't know about. Pre-Wipe I had a US alt (now my Pirate Crafter) that made ships for ya'll, showed up to a few fights (not against pirates) and was never suspected as a spy. Hell most of the guys in my own clan didn't even know about the char cause I didn't let it be known it was my alt. Those are the alts you should worry about. Not the big mouth idiots that let themselves be known in two seconds or just do stupid stuff.

San Iago SOL port battle: 22 Pirates vs 1 GB - Pirates Defended port Normally an empty port battle I would not report but this wasn't against AI. If ARMD is an alt clan of ARMED and yall are going to do flips and not show up we will start to see it as night flips. We only saw three Mortar Brigs and a SOL heading to the port battle and all where CKA guys. We set up La Navasse at a time we where hoping to get the best numbers on both sides and we assume this was the reason for this flip. Now if your flipping ports for CKA and they aren't going to show for them (like they didn't at the US prime time flip of Nassau last week) than it's making ya'll look bad. Just next time if you change your mind and not going to show for a battle let us know out of curtsy cause we had a lot of folks stay up or get up real early for this port battle and having a no show pissed a lot of guys off. If you have a loose cannon flipping ports with alts than you might want to address that to them. Lets keep up the good relations on the server and good fights. As I told the US guys early this week they are doing better in fights and it's getting more fun for all to have good numbers show on both sides. We are also stepping back in some fights and letting more and more new guys fight too so the balance of experience is getting a bit better (as seen in Cayman fight I would say was more equal on both sides if you take the crash into bug thing out of the fight) as we had a lot of new to RvR guys in that fight. Cayman Brac 4th rate port battle: 21 GB vs 24 Pirates - Pirates won the attack. Turned into the normal brawl. We got that stupid crash into the Wasa bug which cause me and a few others loose a lot of structure and HP. That effected 2 on pirates and think some on the GB side was effective. We had a good number of fairly new players so it was more even matched skill wise cause of that and a few mistakes made that cost use more lost than normal. 5 GB lost 6 Pirates lost La Navasse 4th rate port battle: 25 GB vs 23 Pirates - Pirates won Attack Pirates came in the south east and after capping the circle took the brawl to the GB at the A circle. The mortar brig did a great job taking out a fort and tower and than making some of the Brits chase him all over the place. Same with Rudyrose came in at the B circle and gave a good run. It came down to the brawl in this battle with no problems from any bugs. Just a good fight all out as we bring as much of our vets that where on as we could. GB lost 11 ships Pirates lost 5 ships.

Maybe you just need to learn not to speak of certain things in Nation Chat.

As we talked about Caya Vacas would prob make a better spot and Turn Caya Biscano open for all though since it's a better trade hub that folks can use. Will look at things and we can prob let Caya Vacas go back to neutral. You can get deep water ships into it even though it's a shallow water. Really depends how the other nations will act.

I was in board when it happen. Had very little damage to my ships. Than suddenly kicked out of the board which I was board fit and had him easily. I lost all my HP on one side and almost all my structure except a tick or two. I popped a repair but after that I just couldn't make it so F11 since I pretty much lost my ship cause of it.

Add it to the other clan friendly from other nations option and you now have Privateers faction that can fight for other nations. If you don't want to do that than just be a Pirate/Outlaw and do your thing in the OW. I think they could easily make Pirates a Privateer faction and have clans work much like Merc Units in MWO where they can be contracted out to work for Nations/clans. Any one not in a clan than can just be your pirate/outlaws. I'll just keep crossing my fingers and hoping they do something like that some day.

Exactly but you don't let them use your steam account. I bought games for them, but I could also make sure they weren't playing games they shouldn't be playing since my sister and brother in law knew nothing of most games. The point is you get them their own games/accounts and don't let them use your own.

How did he get on your char anyway? Hell there is a reason I made a family steam account for my nephews long time ago when we played games. Though there really isn't anything you can do. Well other than making sure you change your steam password and not letting him on your computer of course.
