Did you read our responce, it's been done with neutral nation and didn't work. It's been done on other games and didn't work. It's been abused on many games and it would be on this. That does not work on a mixed PvP/PvE server. ZONES do work though and many AAA games use them instead of flags. SO DID YOU READ WHAT WE POSTED? Apparently not. So don't accuse me of something when I actually answered your post on that. I assume you weren't around for Neutral nation/ports?

We do have PvP all the time and you don't see us complaining when ya'll come around. Ya'll have one of the biggest safe zones and Keys are far from that area. You do know this is a PvP server right? If you want a safe place there is a nice dead PvE server you can go play on. You weren't bitching when you took Spain port, seems it's only bad when others take your ports and attack you. Typical carebear....lol

how long ago was that meeting? Though the one we had before Wipe most folk didn't do there part of it either. Yah I just noticed it wasn't flipped it is still at 50% from when we jumped into the mission and the US is still 12% from when I killed the mortar brig that was trying to solo flip it. Though if folks changed there mind and want to leave it nuetral that is cool. Just need folks to make the official word so others can stop being butt hurt about things.

Guys we talked about this this morning when it was starting. @Atreides your guys started agro after down time and when it was neutral not before. We jumped into there mission and to be honest prob would of sunk a few of them (I know I would of easily taken one down with just one broad side of double shot he was hurting that bad). We held our fire and had a quick meeting. Ya'll can take it for now and if you want to fight over we will. US simply won't be able to hold it cause we know we can take it back from them any time at any time we want. Though by leaving it open it helps the server. Though now it's ya'll time to honer that agreement and let Spanish take Key West back. We need to get a hold of them and let them know to flip it. I believe they are suppose to be able to take it back once you own Cayo fully. We are trying to do things to help better the server. If US doesn't want to play with that than they will loose ports in certain areas. We have to remember they refuse for the most part to even post on the forums and work with other nations. If I remember correct you where in that meeting between US and GB, we all know there view of that area. They honestly don't want to work with any one. If they don't want us to walk up there coast line looking for PvP than they should be willing with allowing a zone for it at a safe distance from there home waters. Might be nice if we actually had one of these silly meetings and it be all NATIONS. Not just one or two plotting against others. I'm talking about a honest meeting to get the server in order to keep population and encourage more growth in game.

We had the neutral nation and it was abused like crazy by folks. Doesn't work the only way to do it is with PvE zones they can have. Much like we have with the current reinfercements zones, but the map is so big it wouldn't be hard for them to make PvE safe zone in the Gulf of Mexico.

This has been tried in other games and it doens't work. What happens is folks will have an alt in those PVE flagged chars and they will do all there econs with them. In fact this game even had a neutral nation at one time to test it. As for customers that paid for a game. This is Alpha Test stage of a game in development. They where only promised a PvE server after release. SO they do no have to give it to them until than. Even than they didn't promise them the whole map. You show me exactly where anything other than some thing after release was promised to them? While we are in this stage of the game there is no reason for three servers. In fact if they merged them and that includes the PvE server you are more than likely to get more PvE content having all players on the same server. Most MMO's I have played do exctacly this. They have none PvP zones on the game that are safe zones and if you leave these zones PvP is fair game, you don't get a whole make of PvE free unless it's a dedicated server and only games i ever see that do PvE dedicated servers has 1000's and 1000's of players not hardly can fill out 1000. Even most of those games start out with like 10 servers and within a year drop down to just a few servers. This game does not have the following right now to support three servers. Have you even notice how many players are on the PvE server? It's almost always less players than either servers. I never seen them break more than 200. Every time i have logged on it's been less than 100. That map and I hear more of the guys complain they can't do anything. If any thing it's the PvE elitist that don't want there little world messed up, the same guys that get very voilent and abusive when we even try to suggest something to the games problems that involve there servers too. Again show me exactly where they where promised any server other than after release? Than I'll back off on the concept of them being apart of one server with every one else.

I really think that concept you had of the PvE zone in the Gulf was a really good concept. I'm sorry you never promised them the whole server after all, just that after release there will be a PvE server. We all ready have the safe zones testing right now, if some one wants to PvE in safety they have to play a nation in those zones. As for solution for EU/GLOBAL merger why don't you do a real in game poll of what the players want on both servers. I bet you you might get a different response than a bunch of us load mouths on the forums or at least we will get a more acrruate of the player base. I'm going to bet the majority players really don't care about RvR and just happy to do there daily thing what ever it is. It seems only a few ELITE players can't stand others playing when they are not online. WHy should you care what happens to other ports if they have restricted timers so folks can only attack your clans ports in times when you can defend. The other thing that poll might help you with is if you can find out why your have such a dad retention rate of the folks you have the majority of your games sales. I know my answer has been brought up int here (the fact it took 4 months to fix port battle lock out timers on GLOBAL among other things). I would also look at putting the server in a location for the majority of the players can have the best ping over all. Don't listen to a few on either side of this, you need to get the info from the majority of the players and see what they want. We are only about 10% of the game population on these forums. Just remember your not going to make every one happy, but you need to figure out what you wan and stick to those things. You keep trying to please every one and it's not always a good thing when you do.

Those numbers aren't right, one ship is counting the cannons the other is not counting them. I mean the Wasa has 32 lb carros on it's upper decks the Aggy has 12 lb Carros. -

While the flow chart is handy it's not exactly perfect. The probelm is that AI has all the board modes at like old green level and we don't. What is killing the crap out of you is the Brace gets a hugh boost cause they have Barricades (increase firepower hurts). You need to get the crew down. The larger the crew a ship the more this is going to be effective for them. Since you don't have barricades that is why he's doing so much damage to you while he attacks and you brace. I have barricades on my main char and I'll tell you I have gone in bordings with no other board mods and destroyed players players simply with that mod. Toss in Marines and Muskets and I can pretty much finish even AI in 2-3 rounds. The other thing is you need to get the moral down of the other guy to make such attacks effective. That is why folks do the Attack than swtich to Muskets/Grendaes at the last moment on there defend. It breaks the moral and of course effectively kills the crew. Question you started that match with 10 less moral, Hammocks or crewspace build? I fought a Wasa that was Bermuda/Crew Space the other day with marines vs my Board fit Moh/Teak Aggy and I thin the two things that harmed him even though he had well over 100 crew than me and more marines was his lower moral at start of the fight and two well I had Barricades. Though that ship was complete board fit too so all my attacks would do more damage, but crewspace/hammocks isn't exactly a good thing in boarding if you start out with lower Moral than the other guy. One thing they do need to do is tone down the chance of fire for Grendades. No one carries the mods any more cause you light on fire faster than some one with open mag. Though if you want to make a good fireship than load up Grenades, Open Mag, Fireship and to go over board the figerhead....I had no problem getting a Surprise to light up and boom with that set up in a port battle lol -

That is a skill thing not a stats. The average player cant do it I'll assure you unless the Wasa player is a complete noob. As I stated above the Wasa isn't OP per say the problem is it's BR and the fact it's the strongest ship in it's tier and cheap as hell to get. Move the BR to put it up with the 3rds Rates where it belongs and rebalance the actual 4th rates that got nerfed after they where released. Ever wonder why when they came out they had higher BR? It was to balance them in the game. They didn't do that with the WASA, they just tossed it in to a tier as the top ship and gave it to every one. Premium ships and such should not be the top ship of there tier and the way I see it with them being bought with CM they are the premium ships of this game being sold like that. 3rd rate honestly would of made more since to give folks. Something they can grind with in OW and fight with, but it's not the top dog of the tier. Really if any one remembers the Old Aggy, Ingermanland,, and even Connies stats if they got tweeked back to there release stats the Wasa would look more balance in the 4th rate slots, but it still has the armor and more Broad Side than a 3rd Rate ship. It sits in stats between the 3rd ratae and the Bellona so it should have a BR in that area not where it's at now. -

The Wasa has a Broad Side between the 3rd Rate and Bellona. I honestly think the 3rd rate Br should be drop down to like 300. The Wasa should get Br around 350. It even has about the same amount of HP's as the 3rd Rate. I honestly think the poll should change and lets make the 3rd rate what you buy with CM's and replace it with the Wasa in the tree of ships to be crafted. It's basically a frigate killer which what most third rate jobs was. We also need to address the fact every one is running around with 14+ knts Wasa's. This should be a position for the Connie not the Wasa but they have pretty much the same speed and profile as each other so which would you take? The ship with the most guns of course. This is cause of the 15 knt cap is meet and than it doesn't matter that if you remove the cap and go off a percentage once the cannons are put on the exact same build the Connie should be faster than the Wasa, but with the cap every one builds to hit it and than that is it. -

I use to love that ship so much back in the day. After the wipe I got one as I hadn't used it in a long time as I had Aggy's mostly for port battles. I got in one and started to grind on it and ti just felt wrong and broken. I gave up on it before even getting my second slot open. I really think this is all they need to do is rebalance the old ships to match with the Wasa. They need to have ships with there on purpose in each class. There is a problem when every one uses the same ship over and over as a sign there is a balance issue. -

I don't think the Wasa is OP per say, I just think it needs a higher BR though. What they do need to do is bring back the old stats of the Connie and Aggy and other 4th rates that where nerfed to match older ships that was in game. If they did this and a little rebalance it would give the ships reason to use again. Connie needs it's speed and turn rate back as it has the same speed as the Wasa Aggy needs it's old Tankyness returned as it has less HP and Armor than the Wase. Ingermanland just needs some love. I actually think the Wappen is kinda balance as is. Lets all be honest the Wasa is a 3rd rate in a 4th rate skin so it should have a 3rd rate BR not the exact same as the other 4th rates. It can still be a great ship for OW players but it should not be in 4th rate port battles as the king of the ship. Yes any one can get them with CM, but really it's just not BR balanced correctly. Remember the Wappen and even the Aggy started with higher BR''s and was basicly treated as 3rd rates, why wasn't the Wasa done the same? -

I would prefer to see crafting perks tied to crafting level and not part of the other persk. This way you have 10 Ranks and you get 10 points. You have 50 crafting level and you get 10 crafting points (one every 5 levels or something). This way if you rank up in both you can do both crafting and combat, but if some one just wants to do combat they don't have to touch the crafting stuff. Though if they want to not fight they can level up crafting to 50 but never really rank up levels. Also means you don't have to reset your perks every time you want to craft things and than reset them back to go fight. You can keep them set how you want. Only changing them wehn you need to change something in the set up. Like if your a dedicated ship builder you can have ship building perks. If your only doing mats and such but no ship building you can do perks that help with those. -
Though honestly polls are nice and all but this is only 10% of the population if even that which gets on the forums. To get the honest truth they should do a poll when you log in your char for the day and see what the real results or and views on players on /BOTH SERVERS/ not just a bunch of us on the forums.

If some one honestly takes the time to exploit the system they honestly don't have a life. You can game more xp faster just killing Ai than doing the alt thing. You still make more xp with assist and kills. If your killing the alt to damage farm them than they will be posted all over combat news and well they should have a report system on that in case we see suspected farming. Cause you can only kill your alt once an hour, if some one is getting kills every hour but no one has ever seen them out PvPing than it's a little noticeable they are alt farming.

Again how did they flip your ports at night if they where locked in EU time? See your not even talking about the same system, your talking about when there was no restrictions. The other thing why can't ya'll recruit other time zones players? I tell you why you treat us like crap. I know from my own experience I tried to get our clan over there to help ya'll fight the EU prime time players cause we where bored on GLOBAL cause every one was hiding. You know what responce I got from most of the nations? "We don't care we will just ignore them and let them night flip us. We don't need your help." I had a full RvR Clan that most can say holds it's own on GLOBAL (PvP2 than) willing to come over and join the fight against them. All we needed was ships to do so. That was around 15-20 hard core PvP/RvR players in those time zones (we fight in both AUS/US time zones) that was pretty much told go bugger off we don't need you. It wasn't just one nation either as I approached more than one. France actually started to get our guys to help them but by that time things picked back up on PvP2 we said screw it.

I'm still waiting for you to prove how lord protector windows won't work. EU clans can set there ports to EU prime time. US clans to their prime times. AUS/SEA to their prime time. Clans that make up members from multi nations can set to any window they want of leave it open for any time. Ya'll keep saying you don't want to loose sleep worrying about losing a port while your at work are a sleep. You wont' loose your CLAN'S ports cause they will have EU time windows. The only way to loose them is if you loose a fight you have in your prime time. So how exactly would you have to worry about those ports? Now your nation might loose ports that are held by other clans with other time slots. That is those clans responsibility to hold those ports. Also remember you can have friendly clans help support your ports in your time zone slot or others. The game is not the same as it was when we had time slots before. It's based more off clan's not the nations as a whole. So what if your nation looses a few dots in other times and maybe gain some. As long as your clan can support and protect you clans or allies ports in the times slot ya'll have the most players there shouldn't be an issue. This would mean that only fights can only happen in the clan owners prime time slots and not off hours. So no sleep would be lost. You don't have to own every dang port or be responsible for other clan ports. If it's a nation key port than that port window should be during the prime time of the nation. If you loose the port in your prime time than now restrictions or windows would of helped you any way cause you lost it when you had the most folks on to defend it and would of lost it with EU restrictions any way. The biggest issue I saw when we had lord protector before was folks would try to put ports in off times cause they could better defend them or they thought no one would be online enough to flip them, but back than I could take a mortar brig into a port and sink the towers and win in less than 20 mins during off hours. If that port was set in the prime time of that nation/clan I couldn't do that cause it only took a few ships to pop in sink or run me off. If your don't got guys on during those hours don't bitch if you set your timer to them and loose your port. All in all if you loose a port than just flip it back. What i think they are afraid of is that say a US based clan in any nation stays up late or gets on mid day of a weekend. We take a EU clan port on a Sat. They loose the port and we change the window to US prime time. They have now US based friendly clans...they can't take the port back unless they do the same as the US clan did and actually set things up in the other clans prime time.

and remember if you have more than one port it pays out the upkeep one port at a time and takes the earning in same order. From first port to last so make sure you have money to cover all ports. In BLACK we have enough money in the warehouse to cover all 22 ports we have (that is 2.2 million a day it cost us not counting any earnings) and enough to cover it for a week if we all just died and stop playing.

Seems like today is that day, good luck on the port battle. I will have to root for Red on this one as they are a smaller clan and the underdog in the fight. Actually thought it was nice seeing some GB clans up there, but figured it wouldn't last long as they can't stand having any other nation next to them. -
So I get on today and look at the map and get this. BLACK doesn't own Arthur's Town on GLOBAL. In fact a few of those ports around the Harbour Island aren't owned at all. Well I just figured it out when I notice some Swedes and Spanish and other nations where in ports they weren't suppose to be in. It's glitched the GLOBAL map for that one char to show both EU and GLOBAL ports owned on my map....lol @Ink @admin I'll F11 it but might want to look into seeing why it does this. I did have two accounts on this morning on the diffrent servers checking something out at the same time. Ok I figured it out. I was on the EU server with this account this morning. Went to bed and the game AFK idle out and when I logged in today I logged into GLOBAL (game was still running but logged out the whole time). So I logged game out and than back in and map is back to normal.

Puerto Escondido 4th rate port battle: 12 GB vs 25 Pirates - Pirates won the Attack Give Brits credit they jumped in and fought even though way out number. We where planing to flip this more in a better US Prime time but after the long night before and a few of use not being fully awake some one said to flip it and it got flipped way to early for when we plan (reason why Guana Sevilla AI port was at same time). -

The BR needs to be balance and maybe the other 4th rates get back there old stats before they where nerfed to match the older 4th rates. I think if they got some of there old stats back than they would be more balanced. -
Actually if you think taking 4 months to fix the port timer lock out during US prime time is fast than man I don't want to know what slow is to you. It took 4 months to fix it and i posted over and over to Dev team how to fix it by simply switching the timer window to be more with maintenance. It was not resolved in a fast manor at all.
