I play some other EU games and they have servers in places like UK, France even Greenland or was it Iceland and I get about 85 ping with no spikes. I get around 40-60 on Global. Was getting 135-140 on EU but oddly it's actually been around 120-130 lately. While I agree it's play able to play in those pings, but some odd reason many of us get really bad ping spikes and I haven't been able to pin it down to battles or anything cause I had them in OW, PvE battles and even just sitting in ports. Which means it something about the location of the current EU Server. Server locations and more than anything the equipment they use and resources can make a big difference. I know the SEA players we had on Global that are behind the Chinese firewall said they prob not going to move on with the merge cause they just can't play with the Ping in EU. Which you think would be better as it's closer, but again it's the path they have to go through to get to that server. I remember back when I was working offshore field service work I was playing WoT and I have accounts on all servers. I was in Singapore and I got better ping on the west coast NA server than I did from the SEA server that was pretty much right next door to me. While I never had a problem with the EU server when I played on it when I was in South Africa or any other African country or Spain. While we are in Alpha testing a game it really not going to matter where the locations are as we need to save the resources and work on getting all the bugs worked out in this game. Than we can have servers in SEA/US/EU and maybe some of them with special regional restrictions to make certain players happy. Hell maybe even one of them silly PvE servers.

Remember the press gang perk? Kinda wish Rum worked more like that but after a battle you got a percentage of your crew back when you used the rum instead being able to pop it any time. I like the multi repairs and being able to stock up, but I think in battle they should be limited on times of use. We have limits on Double Ball and Double charge but can continue to use them over and over in new battles. Maybe something like that need to return to repairs. Limited number that can be used while battle is active, but at end of battle or OW you can repair up as much as you can until your pulled into another battle.

Doesn't mean much cause they can prob do the redeemeables without doing any patches. They done it before in the past either gave out on spot or have something go active after the servers where live. Though would still be nice if we got some update or patche notes from the Devs to know whats going on?

From what I seen would be nice if the hostility was one color say RED, and maybe split RVR and OW PvP into two colors.

Well that is pretty patch as that is where you can set your port restrictions too. I noticed combat news tells you when you hit 25% hotlitlty too, but wasn't on to see if it lets you know any other way. I think we got the patch patch part of it just not the merge. Though didn't have chance to test leeway or any of the light ships. Wonder if they got tweeks too. Maybe we get the merge tonight and be done with this.

@admin Why no patch updates unless I'm being blind and missed it? Would be nice to get a slight up date of what is going on since we got a patch this morning but not the merge.

I got the same feeling when 90 mins turned into 2 hours and no patch notes posted. They been pretty fast on the patch notes lately. Than no responce here but @admin has been answering other post like in the Russian section. Just would be nice to get an update even if it's just, "We got to work on some more stuff before merge, but here is what got patched this morning."

I think he was more meaning he was going to /TRY/ to flip it. Hell I plan to try to flip one just for fun.

Yah It should have a BR around the 3rd rate, it's almost the same HP and such, just better guns but way less crew so putting it between the 3rds and 4th BR would make since instead of nerfing it's stats. Honestly they should of made the 3rd rate the note ship as it's rarely used and can be a stepping stone for folks going from 4th to 3rds/SOL's

Wasa doesn't need any more speed, but we have port battle timers too, so wonder what else was changed/done.

KInda wonder what happend cause that should of been the merger I bet with that long down time. They are being very silent too normally a patch note would be out by now and I seen @admin make a few post on the russian side of things but none about the patch.

I can see port battle timers was added to ports with the patch but no merger? Maybe something went wrong? Waiting on the patch note and something official from @admin or @Ink

Upon release of the game most likely. There is the info on it and the only picture I seen of it so far. The more I look back I bet it's going to be more like the Cerb than the Naigara

Pandora will be the gift ships all players that tested the game will get. It's some where between the Niagara and Cerberus with 9lbrs on it. With the way her deck is set up they could actually do something like they did with the Prince have all cannons on one deck but mixed two types if you want. As for teh Diana and Kepler they are none ships being worked on. Believe both are SOL's? The good thing is many of us have several papers to use if we don't like where we end up, but for now the Russians are our best choice for the play style we liked the most in game. Also many that want to stay Pirate haven't played one on EU to know how much Mort area gets camped out. You think it's bad on GLOBAL...lol That and I will do what ever I can to help support my old clan mates with what ever nation they pick. Well unless they join like CKA or NPG, than I'm just going to sink them no matter what flag I have on my ship. I will also be dame if some one pops in that hasn't played in 3 1/2 months (since wipe) other than 2 port battles tell me I don't know how to play a pirate and I"m not staying true. NO I STAYED TRUE WHEN YOU LEFT. It's time for me and others to move on and do other things until they fix part of the game (pirates). Just like some folks moved on and left to play other games. I'm kinda not surprised if the GLOBAL former US and GB clans where going to try to pull something like this. Glad we don't actually have national Alliances. This should get pretty fun and interesting. Yah hopefully some of the clans in each nation pretty much do what every they want. I'll start getting the popcorn ready for the show.

And what nation are you going to by chance? Ya'll bitch about us playing Pirates on Global, now you bitch about us playing Nationals. Why don't you take your little carebear US self right out of a post about Russian recruitment and go make your own drama some where else. I'm sure US is going to be happy to get even more carebears after all that do nothing but cry about this and that. If you spent more time fighting for your nation than bitching on here US would actually had been a power house on GLOBAL with your number of players.

who the hell is asking for stuff? We get every thing from GLOBAL when the merge happens? Hell I'm pretty much all set up ready to go once it happens. Now in the past we had been asked to help and was given ships and cannons to fight but that is different. I'm assuming it's prob some folks that wouldn't make a difference going over there demanding stuff? You can ask the Russians and even the French we have asked nothing from them. Than again we aren't going to join some one else clan, we are going to add to the nation with our own clans. See how that works? Your not getting the point. The problem is these are the same players that say they can't recruit and even more they won't but want to bitch about certain things like the lack of players. Well we see exactly why they have a lack of players in a certain time zones. I would go as far to add that GB and US be added to the list of nations trying to recruit, but I haven't seen them do anything of the sorts. Though I seen France, Russian and Poland actively look for players. There was a comment by Spain so even they tried a little too. And no one is saying not to try any nation, but this is after all a thread for Russian Nation Recruitment. I seen a lot of negative comments by none Russian Nation players in here. Hell no one is bitching about Poland and they pretty much been recruiting out of this thread to, but they are recruiting none the less.

I get home from work right after server down time (3rd shift really blows right now) and notice when EU would of been pretty dead it's been hopping in numbers. Just looking at the numbers they are going up and comparing them with how much GLOBAL has dropped more it seems it's going up way more in comparison. Which could be a good thing if even part of those players stick around. Oh want to add normally I get around 130-140 ping on EU server and it's been down in the 120's too. Maybe something go fixed between me and the EU server. Just waiting to see if I get any of the retarded ping spikes that go up to 400-600.

I got a feeling we are going to have a lot of folks find out they can flip ships at the very worse time to find out lol
