Trader tool is a deprecated feature since the patch with player production buildings, it hasn't been correct since. Devs wanted to pull it out completely, but players asked to keep it even in it's unmaintained and incorrect state. AFAIK it shows the prices as they would be IF NPC still produced, port buy prices prolly still often work(?).

I was about to click "like" but you used the dirty word, so no fake internet points por vous. 😝

Maybe they're regarded as swing-role haulers and fighters and we have to grind them as other fighters? Current state is in any case a tiny bit sad: They get a speed nerf as haulers combined with the grind of fighting ships. At least the grind had been cut.

A comment on the instant note ships for marks. Thank you for providing ships in this manner! This is a perfect way for me to enjoy the game; I have to grind up some marks, I can do that, then I can cash my hard work in for a ship of my choosing. Beautiful. It is actually so beautiful that I'm secretly scared it's just a temporary test feature that will be ripped out of my arms later. Please say it ain't so!

I'm afraid it's still unlimited repairs. Not sure what you mean with little diff in speed... I have had a keen eye on speeds for a while now It's all about sinking these days and has been for a while. Raking, demasting and boarding is still doable, but it doesn't take much skill to avoid being raked devastatingly. Just keep your distance and demasting is very hard to do. I'm a bit puzzled; Why would a self proclaimed pvp'er ask for the lowest common denominator gameplay (sinking)?

I originally wanted to ask questions about the first quote but last quote explains it all to me. Maybe you go out for pvp every now and then, but from your own statements it's obvious you are a big time grinder. In itself that isn't a problem, if people want to pork bots they should be able to pork bots. If people want to get rich, well, hey! Go ahead and get rich if that's fun for you. The idea that PVE grinding is useful to PvP'ers is a perverted half truth. PvP'ers want the good stuff to feel competitive and PVE grinders sell the good stuff. So far so good. Someone who wants to avoid grinding boring bots can't really afford the good stuff you sell. We're presented with the choice of either subjecting ourselves to repetitive and boring gameplay or give up on having competitive gear. This had led to many pure-PvP'ers leaving the game or climbing up on the fence. I never understood how this could be a good thing for the game, and consequently I never understood how rare rng loot drop or ultra expensive gear could be good for the overall game. Keep in mind we used to believe PVP was the main focus of OW NA. I can twist my mind and see some logic to it. The economy and PVE grind is the king and core of the game with small RvR sideshow and an even tinier OW PVP hunting side-side show. Pure-pvp'ers are grains of sand in the great wheels of the economy and PVE grind; impossible to satisfy and constantly involved in disruptive activities. It is, indeed, no country for old men. In this patch, and in some preceeding patches, there has been small and gradual changes to make some smaller ships somewhat more affordable and time-effective to make. We appreciate it. Must this game feature ultra rare and expensive fighting gear? (Bonus question: Would PVE grinders, who make up the majority of the player base, quit if PvP gear wasn't buried inside a mountain of PVE activities?)

Forthcoming patch final discussion.

You know, you have my support with the fight for more PVP. But "open battles to join" does as much harm as good. Sure, there would be some more PVP, but it drags glorious PVP down to a mouthbreather level. -

I tried again 10 seconds before posting this. Still doesn't work on my end.

I guess this is the best place for a bug report? I've done missions in previous patch on testbed, but when I try to click out a mission in the current patch nothing happens. This is a follow-up of an F11.

Well, ofcourse he has!

I still can.

How is the new UI comming
jodgi replied to Mike the Mongel's topic in Patch Feedback and General discussions
Sure, but the style of the general UI (what little we can see) will most likely be the same. -
Checked the hostility rates. clicked and did the mission. Hostility grinders in victories won't be modus operandi. One mission down makes 6.67% hostility (live). You gotta do 15 such missions. So, at the very least you need something like 30 guys in fairly big ships clicking 15 missions and doing them in pairs. Whew! That's quite a bit of PVE. Can you click out some big-ass fleet missions to grind hostility quickly as a group?

potential new player Is the game worth getting?

Good man! Ah, the Steam community and their collective wisdom... -
@Sir Texas Sir, is it enough to cap one of those three zones or do you need to kill all or cap all three? Does damage on capping ships reset all cap progress? (Sorry for nooby questions)
