  1. everything else specifically? Some things take longer than planned - check out Valve time - which applies to all game development studios. We always implement suggestions we find valuable. If we do not agree with suggestions they wont be implemented.

  3. the hold transfer is one of the old windows we made and plan to improve it in next iterations (we also do not like it). we do not want to delay the patch and will ship with the current loot transfer - improving it in one of the next patches. For boarding we wanted to make it better but all options played worse than the current one for some reason. As a result we kept it as it was. Despite all attempts to try to make it look better.
  4. bounties are a great idea in theory but wont work in practice - they are exploited easily making bounties a useless feature. You place a bounty of 1000000 doubloons on someones head. He asks a friend to sink him, splitting the bounty. He is happy - you are unhappy. It should be in reverse. The person with the bounty should be scared. The only way to make bounties work as intended is rank loss or full player loss (hanged on a pier). But it is impossible, as community wont accept such feature.

The goal of the wipe is to remove money/assets made on untuned mechanics, remove ships received because of bugs, remove the extra resources and other things received due to early access problems. The goal of the wipe is not to punish players. Ship XP levels for example did not have any major exploits and it was not possible to gain ship XP by using bugs = thus ship XP level can be kept. Reals - we indeed closed multiple loopholes during early access which generated extra money = thus reals can be wiped (at least above a certain threshold) We see less and less compared to our initial announcements. We will keep you posted if something changes on this.
  7. We tried twice to unify rewards but indeed it is much harder to balance 1 currency instead of 2. As a result - Logbook (ship logs), intelligence, or gold bars will return into the game as pvp reward. This will make pvp in general and patrols in particular more important.

  9. rewards are ok but indeed could be better. Hold on - rewards rebalance will come a bit later.

  12. Testbed will shutdown until next week for long maintenance, patch deployment and improvements based on your feedback and based on your bug reports. It will reopen early next week.
  13. Captains Testbed will be closed for long maintenance for implementation of players feedback, bug fixing and improvements. It will reopen in the beginning of the next week (28-29 Jan). Your kill and boarding counts are safe and you will continue on the same accounts when testbed reopens.
  14. for the new player it will not matter. he would never know rolling front and rolling back existed and will only see Bow to stern Stern to bow. Which to our opinion explains how guns fire a little better. What am i missing?
  15. you dont see the things under the hood. OLD ui had 4 systems in it which caused lower fps and was very hard to maintain. new (old) UI goal is to keep everything the same (to avoid confusion) remove as much text as possible move all elements to new tech (which basically means rebuild it from scratch) Huge amount of work was done on this ui and it will work better but look the same.

  17. Atlas? Hackable game where you can change half of your parameters by just simple intercepts? Game where admin commands are open to all (whale rains). Water is in the client so you can just change the wave sim and be 10km higher than your enemies? NO thanks We are a pvp game without hacking and cheating. Out water is on the server and changing water requires server rework. Server rework requires everything rework. How about no.
