  1. use tow to port function - it will send you to capital. We have changed the Tow to port destination exactly because of this bug. its a bug - someone will contact you soon. If you logout at sea - sometimes the packet gets lost and you are teleported to random place in the map

    Unfortunately name changes are impossible at this stage. Hold on for later please.

  10. Captains Trading resources weight increased to provide the opportunity for more players to trade. Current supply of trading resources across caribbean remained the same - average profit remained the same. Only weight changed. Traders won't be able to clear out the whole port alone as before. Giving others the chance to buy the resources. Protractor tool added to map in the open world Tow to port TEMPORARILY changed. Due to teleport bug (that we are still fixing) that can send you across the map (sometimes to the pacific) we have changed it back to capital (increasing cool down to 6 hours). Otherwise player were stuck on the other side of the globe sometimes without the option to return Cannon weights fixed Morgan bluff can now produce coal and iron again PvE server received even more NEUTRAL counties with coal - where all nations can build factories and fast travel to.
  11. There is 1536 NPCs on the world ranging from solo traders to 24 ship fleets. + from 100 to 1000 players (lately) if we completely remove missions it will make it sandbox again? Missions and quests are actually give less freedom to players. There are no quests in sandbox Rust for example.
  12. the npc ship prices can be updated of course. we will see if will be necessary over time. We do want crafted ships to be cheaper than NPC ships.

  15. Before overreacting remember that even World of warcraft forces you to do mini raids in groups. Not only that - most casual games like clash of clans completely lock some of the content only for groups. We want you to socialize - it is easier to do fleet missions with friends and more fun. You are more protected this way and actually will enjoy the game more playing as a group. If you are solo player you still have access to solo content on the open world. Just find the spawn that you like (by some sailing around) and move there sinking ships of your liking.

  18. We will buy pve marks maybe at fixed prices. But ships must end up on the bottom of the sea. Because a captured 4th rate is as good as a crafted one.
  19. Its already like that Forts get the kill and the marks and the money. Player can get an assist if he did some damage. but if fort outdps the player fort gets the kills
  20. a good feature for a single player game turned into a grotesque by mmo players. Players were using forts for non stop easy farming of loot on testbed. As NPCs are dumb and just sailed to their death non stop. 600 line ships in one evening.

  22. How did you come to this conclusion. Its not. Cost of 18lb carronades for brig (if you craft) is 10000
  23. forts don't fire on NPCs but they do fire on players
  24. Frigate is 53k in npc store. We are not saying that ships are free, but they are not really expensive compared to the money you can make. And they are very cheap from NPCs. If you craft cannons the cost of 9lb is 900 per gun the cost, but for harassing pvp you probably need 24lb carronade is 600 per gun which is 24000 for 40 guns. (you are faster with carronades) Richest 3 players on pvp eu all have 2 mln each made by trading and npc farming (we are looking closely at money now). TLDR.. outfitted frigate from NPCs is 80k with 24lb carronade. Its freaking cheap - what are you talking about?
  25. how did you come to this conclusion? Iron ore is not available from NPCs in fact no resource except monopolized woods is available from NPCs. You cannot get resources like iron or coal or oak from NPCs.
