  1. Exactly. Keep clean. Use other analogies.
  2. They are the devs. Who knows what stuff goes through their offices... C'mon man, just go with the flow. Test ships have been handed along the years to different testers, mods and not mods. So, take a good look at the picture I posted. Let it sink.
  3. If you think so. But there's plenty of stuff to test, even in the old ships, OW mechanics, trade mechanics, new ships, cannon, everything. Just use your imagination...
  4. - same as yacht - sell ship = 0 gold - cannot add to fleet - cannot redeem if has 1 in play - add: cooldown ( whatever it is ) starts when ship is lost
  5. What about EU players that play late sometimes ? Are they US/CAN/Americas ? Or Americans that play early, are they EU sometimes ? Silly round earth... 🙃
  6. No. I like both. I like all ships, unmodded. The civilian type, and the navy grade one and the trader ones. That's the question poll of the thread. Answer is NO.
  7. No. One civilian build. More light, less resilient to combat. The other is navy grade, more strong, heavier. without mimimods they retain their exact brig rig specs, with appropriate turn developments, etc. As designed and as possible in a game.
  8. build them completely different as they were built, aye
  9. Civilian and Navy commission brig rigs archetypes. Perfect example of how shipyards could build more or less fast/stout ships that are different without resorting to modules and mimimi to make them feel different and whatever...
  10. Different paints for the variants, for example, Trader Brig, Brig, Navy Brig. Or, Trader Cutter, Cutter.
  11. That is correct, with the decks management you can prolong the chain use, but the payoff is you have to reload all the time. With the swivels "feature" is a guarantee
  12. Leave the Brig and Navy Brig alone please. Thank you.
  13. Yeah, not a fan of bottles in the present incarnation anyway so hard to be sympathetic with the comparison of "free cash".This is how i see bottles http://forum.game-labs.net/topic/25900-suggestion-not-so-empty-bottles-change/ What those little boats could do is give breadcrumbs to events - like the shipwrecked treasure fleet locations - as opposed to have a server wide announcement. So it would work like "storyline", a piece here and a piece there, until you could figure out a location, or how many wrecks are there, etc.
  14. Now this is interesting and a credible OW life system to bring back the old sighting letters - "player X passed Y 30 minutes ago" Regarding the smuggler/longboats... can only see the suggestion as a "free cash". Not sure if I understand their purpose. At least the Fishing Boats have a proper ACTIVE presence regarding OW activities other than being just "there to be picked up". Ideas are never lost
  15. Remove "recently killed". That way I can deny everything. Never happened. Never battled, never sunk.
  16. Yep I keep those as well, just not on YT. Total fail. GG
  17. Was chasing this one, thanks Vernon. So, three of the schooners were named for three congressmen that helped navigate the legal waters when dealing with prizes. Franklin Lynch Harrison add also the Warren Lee and then two more, fitted at Plymouth, Washington Harrison
  18. I never got beyond the "attack" button regarding "figuring out stuff". I think the BR order of battle stuff might be useful for the "strategos" of RvR.
  19. You can't be serious when you say something like that about the Privateer/Lynx. Please watch @z4ys most excellent little snips on how to raid proper. Speed is secondary, that I can guarantee.
  20. Testing ships is not meta'ing ships. Will put the Diana on hold for the moment being, but watching other streamers that sail her. Classic definitely needs proper testing - she deserves it. This is not WoT so cut me some slack. @admin a epic thanks to the team.
