  1. damn, just remembered another option. thanks My reason: Coin, Taverns and Wenches
  2. The Snake is a mandatory addition to any raider fleet. She's a trickster sometimes and, like the Privateer, likes more to run free than being under the leash all the time, while the Lynx is more docile. Snake can be a death trap for being so handy and requires, IMO, more than any other lady those nice Lightweight ropes
  3. You do not want the very first suggestion. I can assure you, you will not want the first suggestion. Why ? It will make a trader raider life so much easier it is hard to believe
  4. I think it is unrelated and different agendas of development (?) and maybe it is another step stone towards a new economy revamp. I do not think what we have at the moment is even close to final.
  5. Shallow bragging rights ? Marines inflation ? Indeed... too easy to come by. Now imagine if you have to carry a chest ( pretty much RN standard ) with whatever amount you wish for necessities Suddenly money would have a different value...
  6. Following the last poll, which surveyed the basic idea of choosing a nation, let's review this time the causes of changing a nation for another. There's too many reasons and sometimes is more than one reason in the mix. Previous poll: http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/13890-why-do-you-play-the-nation-you-play/
  7. Provisions will be needed to craft the ship. Same as Live Oak or any other wood. Same as Furnishings or any other parts. It is not the same thing.
  8. Damn, that log together with a Captain's simple log would make me very very happy.
  9. Marines recruitment ( instead of being dropped they could be recruited, and lost ofc ), Officers demand food of quality before joining, etc As a building material, such as Danish Beer, it can be used in crafting and for recruitment purposes ? IIRC we make money for doing damage atm. Might not be the case in the future ?! That could be very interesting to control inflation
  10. Yes. Been asked before several times and it is proper to bring it up now and then.
  11. It is a ship building component. Not a consumable. Unless I read it all wrong...
  12. Wont' happen. The Supplies last for the entire lifetime of the ship. They are a integral part of the ship blueprint. They can never end (afaik ).
  13. Ah ! The Purge ! Let it begin. Boyz' "Let's jump on board, and cut them to pieces."
  14. The cannons were a real issue with the power back in the day rushing to establish a proper chain to furnish them locally. In game these could actually be player produced as suggested previously, and have the Foundries built. Yes, can totally see this.
  15. Only two ways of ceasing a fire, we all know them. Survival mode or go boom.
  16. Actually I wouldn't do that for the normal OW open activities but add an extra layer - war supplies - for the upcoming conquest mechanics - and tailor specific needs to provision a ship to make it eligible to go into a Port Battle - Made available only during the preparation phase. If Raids mechanic also make it in it is considered normal OW open activity with no need for them war supplies.
  17. Might be me, and I really like to read all the Economics ideas, but too much crafting and too little Action if we make everything into the economy food chain ( nvm, more cargo being moved around more prize for the crew yah-har )
  18. I would see more of a French-Viking power block versus... *wink* *wink*
  19. An Alliance means full trade. IIRC an Alliance will mean traders are free to enter each others port to conduct their business
  20. Sounds like a great compromise. No need for constant management. Guess that a "white fleet" activity ( fishing ) will be one of those several means, right ?
  21. Ferengi greed....huh... you be talkin'bout some Dutch individuals... ahahahaha
