  7. The opening match should be today, we are only waiting for one last captain confirmation. As the opening ceremony we shall all Pray together for fair play and gallant taunts, for many fires and explosions and overall for a great time.   13. It rests on the contract value placed by a player. I might offer a million for a specific Pickle to cover for some mishaps. Someone might offer a lot more for a specific Surprise build. And you might get it right at first and as such capitalizing it good.
  14. Er.... not about perks tbh, I don't really see perks as adding anything specially positive at the moment. What could be added, and this could help, is for a contractor to specify the crafter level interval intended. So in sum the options would be the same as we have while crafting a ship, from quality to the rig types, gold value of contract and crafter lvl pretended. No resources involved, only hard cash.
  15. Some captains will, for sure, offer fortunes for specific builds to cover any eventual failed attempts.
  16. Neutrals could be reworked as a playable choice to represent the trans-national trading companies. Something the antithesis to any sort of re-worked pirates. Not tied to any nation but under the protection of all nations, meaning anyone engaging them would become outlaw, unless outlaw already of course. * see captain Kidd.
  17. Simple suggestion. A way to place orders for ships for public crafters to take on. Can be customized with specific trims and/or slots.
  18. From what i've seen on the Politics everything is going according to the councils on the grand scheme of things in this first round.
  19. Can't tag a LGV + 2 connies due to BR. One has to bring a small cruiser squadron which adds to arms race and "gank" spirit... It is limitative On one hand the fleets help the "single player" trader but on the other hand it limits the "single player" raider. Positive side of things, yesterday bumped two traders being escorted by buddies. That's really nice to see and adds spirit to the Open World.

Been suggested multiple times and why not If ever a Trading Post building would be introduced it could mean another playstyle more focused on trade and trading companies, natural evolution of the west indies Only request would be to have the AI slightly identifiable [ with convoy ID or similar ] albeit sailing in company of each other so we would have convoys. Imagine an NPC convoy with 10 ships from 10 players and 5 of those player decide to act escort
  21. Fits me for sure. I dislike them fleets, not the game And on my defense I engage traders with fleets whenever the BR allows. Pair of pixelcoj'ones as opposite to many fleet defenders.

  23. Care to count how many trade raiders use LGVs on their own ?... At the very bottom of the issue fleets BR block tagging. It works like a invulnerability bubble and easy to get 5x difference. Now if the fleet, at the very least, is not counted towards BR would be an improvement and responsability of the attack 1v3 would befall the trade raider.
