  2. Thanks for sharing I find it curious about the lack will to go and circumvent the map and explore new coasts but hey, different takes on everything the game has.
  3. Many of us don't wait, don't do NPC nor fake missions ... Game is far from perfect but it is darn spectacular if you reduce to the essential - Action, Naval Action. The other systems are all to support Action.
  4. Of course. IMO the system was introduced because of the extremely reduced amount (?) of players that actually read meta-diplomacy. If the ships are red they are the enemy. If they are green they are friendlies or allies. Everyone can vote no matter what meta we Setup on forums.
  5. Agree on that. We all play different playstyles and we have to know what's out there and being a multiplayer game anything can happen. I rather be impeded in a raid ( like yesterday, salute Cecil that was a great moment of NA! ) by players than by bots ... oh nevermind, the bots won't stop a raider and you'd have two options, run away and forfeit the bots or stay and lose the trader, the cargo and the bots. I rejoice on trade raid. What's your playstyle ?
  6. You are missing one very important detail. Fleet ships add BR. They can create a "invulnerability" bubble if the BR is right versus some enemy setups. It is not about the traders having support ( it is of sorts but we already managed to overcome that ), they do not add anything to the Action game but disrupt greatly all else. Fast fix ?! Remove fleet BR and use only the player.
  7. IIRC War functions as antithesis to Alliance, meaning you can't ally with a nation which is at war with your ally (?) enemy is the default ?
  8. Nay ! Here it shall remain until a black shape comes out of the fog and the 'good' citizens learn outrage once more.

  10. Indeed I share the feeling. But we tested Social and we cannot say it is successful.

  13. A PB like that... It takes spectacular amounts of individual prowess to be able to function in dynamic chaos. Takes triple the awareness and four times the daring. No place for sheep.

  16. Regarding the RoE we are testing Two things IMO. And Both are in the same battle.
  17. Both extremes of the RoE in less than a month, sure why not ! Let's test it. Any major changes on Free Ports !? Asking this because of my affiliation with free ports and if there's a need to anticipate some movements.

  19. Was a blast, especially being close to some vicious action in some of the matches.. Seeing all the teams trying different ships and then throwing off some very refined gameplay absolutely shows how grand Naval Action combat can be. Damn good show everyone.

  21. Nor were Free Ports naval bases. Ask and you shall receive, but have to give something up.
  22. None of those games appeals to many of us. NA appeals much more to many of us. I like brandy more than rum. Despite the "pyrate" playstyle, which is a proof of concept and gives me much fun, I, and many similar minded players, do not ever let down buddies that ask for help, ever ! Enough pillows for the lazy... let's test a new RoE asap.
