Port Battle Outlaw Battle Exploit global Server
Hethwill, the Red Duke replied to BallsOfSteel's topic in Tribunal - Трибунал
I do play this game without resorting to any loopholes and always play honest, not because of others but truly because of my own fun factor - I find the challenge quite pleasing without having to take shortcuts. In any case and thanks to the efforts of some players an issue was reported in relation to this case. Given most proof is in the open already we sit and wait. -
Pirate life can be summed up to one specific thing - availability of crew. No Pirate ship can sail without a crew decided to go pirate. So it all must start with a specific design for crew regarding Pirates, different from all Nations. - the more success a captain is, the more crew will flock to his flag. Plus after making port crew leaves, new one joins.

Port Battle Outlaw Battle Exploit global Server

Here I find myself in a bewilderment. Outlaw battle is always open and free for all ( make your own friends and enemies inside the battle). Why didn't you enter it and sink the enemy fleet ? -

White Peace - France-Denmark Trade Conflict ends
Hethwill, the Red Duke replied to Teutonic's topic in Caribbean News
As per 24th May, 2017 everything was wiped. Globalist ( players that uphold full access to the game 24/7 ) players do not care IF a year and a half ago yadda yadda tales of old clans were omnipotent and others became awesome friends. More than the half of the population in PvP Global is not native to old PvP2. New server. New wipe. New world. Written word was matter of fact in the age of sail. If it wasn't written in oficial papers and recorded on the logs it didn't happen nor it wouldn't be upheld. -

Please READ this carefully ALL of you, including Danes. Just to avoid misunderstandings... Sweden attacks the regions and flips them. Not Danes. Thank you. -

I do not understand why my cannons aren't reloading
Hethwill, the Red Duke replied to Quineloe's topic in Support
Had a odd issue fairly similar but involves other than ball.. Double Ball shot was left at odd singular digits, like 7 or so, changed to ball and they kept reloading at such a sluggish pace, abnormal. I did fix that side to no crew, unleashed the other with the already loaded double, changed to ball ( 1 remnant of double ball remained unused, no idea where the other 6 went ) and suddenly all the loadings kicked in normal. -
No quarrel with the Dutch on my part. The raiding that happens now and then is more of a show of how it can be done to groups that stick to the mini pve server in the corner. I am certain many ICS players would wish a more pro active pvp role but they need to get out of that cycle of "pve" and go out there even if it means ow pvp around pampatar. They will learn a lot more and I am sure the dutch spirited captains will give them good fights. And myself would enjoy a lot if a few of them would even join up in the raiding forays and pair up with the corsairs There's nothing to gain in going against the Dutch. Quite the opposite. I like the dutch captains spirit and their organization.

Allow to dump cannons at Sea
Hethwill, the Red Duke replied to z4ys's topic in Current Feature Improvement Suggestions
Weather deck, maybe. Takes time. Instances of 2 or 4 guns being dumped from the castles are not uncommon. Full gun decks is a harsh one to pull out. Roll out the carriages... unplug all fittings,... damn, the barrel and supports do even pass entirely through the gun ports !?...how do you dump gun decks below ? Above castles might work, blessed gravity. -

In truth, and coming back to the US nation, what is really important is to give newcomers and veterans alike a solid tapestry of gameplay where all types do their thing under a common goal. Can be as simple as working PvE in hostility and even going on raiding forays into pvp waters. Learn with every loss, learn to commit and when to retreat. Above anything have fun together. Game doesn't end ever and nation doomsayers do not help single bit. All nations across the pvp server have at one point or another go through refreshment. Communities and clan get more tight and squadrons start working better.

Yes. Was just a snip. There are countless actions that go unnoticed in the "local events" but do act high in the larger scheme. For example sinking a "poor trader" full of materials ready to assemble a ship of the line. Was only a trader but in truth was a ship of the line. Reward ? Nothing. Just knowing that SOL will not see the light of day.

You are right on one thing that sums up your post Tenet. There is no right way to play the game. p.s. Bartle's "pvp killer" is in regards to boardgame players that will use all possibilities in the rules, directly or indirectly to smash the opposition soundly. They will attack when there's no chance for loss and they make it clear for all other players around the gaming table. Is not related to meta nor to politics. It is related to win by all means necessary.

RL counterpart, just for "historical simulation" topic. A US fleet led by the President, Congress, and others got themselves involved in a running combat with the Belvidera. The entire chase and back to station did delay the US squadron 48 hours. Despite the saving the Jamaica Convoy ( was the prime target of the US squadron ) with such a brave action the captain of the Belvidera, Captain Byron, was not even acknowledged by the Navy Board for the action. Not much unlike your situation.

Yeah, pretty much. Remember, this ain't Europa Universalis... well, it can be but it ain't...

What a mighty chuckle. Thanks Vllad. Quite a nutshell indeed. I like the dynamics that all those "characters" provide.
