  1. Yea players should have the ability to capture a ship regardless of fleet perk 1. Seems common sense. If they want more than that, perks should be needed.
  2. Actually you’re closer to the mark then you think. Poor presentation though. I do however blame the devs for not creating enough incentive for players to leave the safe zones. One can craft all ships including the rare 5/5s with attributes in the zones. They can mission almost all the way to RA in them. AI fleets come right into the zones for easy killing. If you do not create and environment for players to leave the safety of their ports, they never will. Aka lack of content. PS - you are old and smart enough to know that it’s “did I do well”. Not “did I do good”. Less sarcasm and more grammar please. Your posts reinforce the stupid american trope.
  3. adjust wood availability. Teak is not spread properly around the map. Some of the BRs in the shallows are too high. Way more than 25 ships. Wasa br still a little low. increase the RNG chance of purple and gold ships that are crafted in ports outside the safe zone vs inside it. Same with free towns. Reward people who take risks to craft in capturable ports.
  4. Presumably a player can craft every ship inside the safe zone and get the same chances at crafting a 5/5 gold as someone who takes the risk of crafting outside of the safe zone in a port that can be capped and his traders harmed. This should not be the case. The game overall needs to encourage players to venture beyond the safety of the zones and go create content. A crafter at KPR can still make ships, his game play is not restricted. A player that chooses to do so elsewhere at risk should be rewarded for it. There's 200 whatever ports in the game. We need to create reasons for people to visit more than 10 of them. The PVE crafters paid their money sure, but here is also the PVE server where they can do so with no risk. Our game play should not be diminished to create safe havens where players can craft with ZERO interaction with the outside world.
  5. Yea I added Louis to ignore a while go. NA is much more fun.
  6. A suggest I mentioned once or twice is to have variants of each ship, a basic one that is craftable in the capital (safe zone) regions and then a more elite one that is crafted in player owned ports. It seems absurd to me that John P Crafter in KPR can randomly make 5/5 gold ships when John B Crafter in a player owned port has the same exact chance. Capital region ship - base stats Non Capital region ship "Navy ship" - Base stats + additional slots/random attributes/whatever. Put a restriction on Navy ships being towed into capital regions or something like that and boom, safe zone hiding problem partially solved. What do you think @admin?
  7. In personal experience, the smaller ports are harder to take. Just look at RUBLI and North Inlet. Larger clans being able to lower the BR on a port would give them an unfair advantage.
  8. so just using this as an example HRE guys, don't freak out. There is the HRE clan and the HREKK. I assume KK is crafters or whatever. HRE has 150 people, HREKK has 10. Some guys switch into HREKK to flip a port, leave after the PB is won. Port X remains small because HREKK is a "small" clan. See the problem? A smarter solution would be to allow the clans to select their BR load out and forts inside the management window. Small, Medium, Large. Maintenance costs go up the larger the port.
  9. Santa Tome PB. Run by Jags. Still the best run PB I've ever been to. Check out the map view of these 2 lines at work.
  10. sorry guys....but lol.
  11. Having your timers set to US prime time is a stretch, I'm not asking that. But when 1 brit clan owned most of the bahamas and set the timers ALL at 11-14, it made it difficult to even conduct operations for US based players. In particular now that the spread of ports is a little bit more diverse, we can plan things that are not at 7am in the morning for us. Scipio owns a port or 2, I don't think he'll mind if we have some friendly fights down there. It's not like any of these ports matter.
  12. As long as the 11-14 timers are used to dodge fights, multi flips will continue. If you want to hide your money port, Little Harbor, behind a timer...yea I get it. But all the ports? That's bullshit.
  13. good news is you'll get on the conquest board this week....
  14. I always did want to attack esteros ...
  15. Your glasses are bit rose colored I think. The only fully defended port with all brits was in bermuda. I was in san augustin with Pellasgos, Brits and 7up. A number of US went down to Bridgetown including the hero of bridgetown, Gorven. If I recall the dutch had 1 or 2 ports to defend on their own as well.
  16. Well according to Greggy baby my main is still Russian. So I guess I didn't flee too far. My evening guys were already planning on going to the US to follow the other US based clans who moved over prior, there's been no content for them in Russia for months at night. I didn't push Carta defense btw. I think it's a good thing we lost it. Over extending is a bad thing, just take a look at the bahamas this morning.
  17. I think greggybaby is the only guy here who needed clarification.
  18. we'll see tomorrow. Maybe we'll tribunal him for griefing. To counter his tribunal post here. Someone is very salty. mmmmmm salty pretzels
  19. He means sinking or surrendering the alt to gain hostility dope. lol Can I tribunal stupidity?
  20. from the rule thread - "Clarification. By abuse we mean directly generating hostility for the enemy by means of sinking or surrendering. " Do you have any visual proof of me doing this?
  21. I believe if you let a port go neutral it still counts as a loss. Could be wrong
