  1. RIP our already diminished casual player base.
  2. 2 of his players have already been caught and punished a while ago. Down ranked too. One was in WO at the time and the other was not. We know a third was alt farming up until he joined WO on a nightly basis. KoC is either a generous reformer or his morals aren't 100% iron clad.
  3. Safe zones are fine. The incentives to leave them....are not. Full crafting inside the zones. No increased chance to make purple/gold ships in outside ports. Can run all missions inside the zones. Who needs labor hour reductions when you can just buy endless labor contracts with your endless supply of combat marks. The game needs to incentive people leave the zones and setting up crafting hubs elsewhere on the map. Bring back crafting regions or at the very lease make it so gold/purp ships have a higher chance of being crafted outside of the safe zones and a zero chance in them. We need to also be honest here and mention that the game currently does not have enough people in it to support a vibrant open world. Chances of finding a random person in a far corner of the map are slim and sharks will of course go to where their prey is plentiful....and that's the capitals. If this game had double it's population organic PVP would happen more frequently and we probably wouldn't be talking in this post. I remember at the very start of the split when EU had 1200-1300 people for a short time, trying to sail around and open world hunt WITHOUT running into a dozen people you didn't want to run into was difficult. This game needs more players. So there real question we should be asking here is......Where have all the players gone? Why does the development team seemingly ignore creating content for the bread and butter of MMO games, the casual players. Missions are stale, old and lack variety. Why do we not have simple escort missions or exploration type quests? Why do we not have a more complex crafting system or economy to keep those casual or non-PVP oriented players engaged? Instead the development team keeps waffling back and forth over the same dozen or so ideas to "improve PVP" when in realty the only thing that will real fix PVP in this game is more players. It's time to fix the cause of why we don't have players in this game and stop trying to fix the symptoms. PVP or RVR is never going to get better if the population numbers continue to drop.
  4. Sorry guys, but just wasn’t able to stay up yesterday evening after being up most of the previous night at the emergency vet. I had hoped we could manage a real fleet even missing my ocean but the looks of that comp and Koiz’s posts make me think he’s got into the bath salts again. Operaton Deny Content is probably better served if you actually deny them content and not give them free marks by sailing in trash boats. .... oh well. Always next time.
  5. No one in the US wants to fight you guys. Everyone acknowledges you're better than most of our players, just like everyone acknowledges the brits and prussians are also. They don't mind fighting the Brits and Prussians, but they do dislike fighting WO/BLANC. Everyone does it seems. Your crew does not seek fair fights, only fights you can win and willing punching bags that can provide you content. You roll out in bigger ships, more numbers and generally higher BR than most of your opponents and them shit talk them for the effort. The other night you had a fair fight on your hands against VCO. 4v3 with slightly higher BR and you guys still ran. I'm sure kingy has a litany of excuses why, but you guys shirked a fair fight. It's been VCO's pleasure willingly denying you as much content as physically possible over these pas few months. I hope everyone else follows suit.
  6. I was surprised to see about 5-6 Dutch out there screening for the Swedes. I think they have a bunch of timers down there still set to US times.....and we're bored trying to deny Kingy content. HMMMMMM
  7. GB on EU was definitely no prize before the split or prior to the merge, but they were functional. The global Brits bring levels of disorganization, lack of communication and an unwillingness to fight to the max. I remember setting up a multi flip as brit against the pirates on global. We hit them at Georgetown and 30mins later CKA / ARMED hit them at SLM and hopefully get a mostly empty fight. It worked. We held them in GT and pirates got less than 10 in at SLM. CKA decided to take mortar bigs to troll them because first rates were too costly. It failed. Cordova is an idiot. We rolled pirate shortlty after that. They are incapable of helping themselves.
  8. but but but......what about loyalty to pixel nations? Swapping around occasionally makes the game more interesting and does give more of a fresher take on what most can honestly say is a very stale game at the moment. VCO was brit for a little while on global and we clashed with the very same people @HachiRoku seems to currently be clashing with. Most of them refuse to operate under any semblance of organization, sail trash boats and any opinions you have that they do not share.....get you labeled as a spy. The sheer inability to bring the necessary ships to certain fights was just flat out astonishing. I feel your pain. After about 2 months we had enough, rolled pirate and set on a world wide revenge tour sinking them and taking their ports. It was very satisfying. We also made some pretty good friends in the pirates and we're still married to the hip with them after about half a year and a couple nation swaps later. Downside is now every time @Sir Texas Sir makes a comment on the forums saying "That's what we used to do over in Pirates".....which is always...I can't make fun of him. Good luck over there Hachi, especially dealing with @Lars Kjaer, aka Tittybaby, aka King of Crown's only contribution to this game. You'll need it.
  9. Increased chance to craft purple and gold ships
  10. I would revert hostility missions back to their former selves. The current ones are far too tedious and heavily favor the defenders. Part of the reason why RVR is currently dead is because hostility missions went from being a minor inconvenience to an annoyance. Also, ports need to matter again. Bring back crafting regions or something similar.
  11. April fools?
  12. Curious seeing Mr Hachi “We’ll fight WO and the Prussians” Roku joining in on your side. The sharks never do seem to fight the other sharks in this game. All about those easy kills. We’ll be in the US for a while yet. Coast guard has proven to be a good way to lose ships and not a very good way to improve a players skill level. So instead we were out sinking other brits elsewhere on the map. Maybe tonight we’ll sink other frenchies.
  13. I believe pirates are the only nation that can do this by design. Might be a hold over from the whole outlaw battle days. Either way, I like it.
  14. feel free to drop those other ports then. I'm sure the US clans would love to take them and not put timers on them....
  15. Yea I'm not sure why the devs haven't caught on to the idea that casual players = content. This is an OW sandbox, you need people to play in it. We keep trying to fix problems with the game that are caused by low population, but never seem to address why there is such a low population. I remember right at the start of the global/pvp EU server split when EU had 1300 people on it. You were CONSTANTLY seeing people out on the water. Now with less than half the population, unless you're near one of the busier ports....it's a ghost town. People = Content. We need more people. Make casuals great again.
  16. The real issue here is game population. Solo pvp dies when the player numbers dwindle. You simply can't expect folks to be in most corners of the map and therefor forcing players to hunt outside capitals, which for the most part are not friendly to solo players. To fix this issue we need to get players back into the game and to do that, we need to fix the casual aspect of Naval Action and make it interesting for players who have quit. Make missions more dynamic and interesting. More variety. Escorts, Search and Destroy, Trade missions, Bounty missions. A far more intricate crafting system. 1 level 50 crafter should not be able to make every ship and cannon in the game. Introduce skills trees and specializations of a sort. Make the role of a "crafter" actually mean something. Economy. Simply put, we have none. Most ports generate zero income. No incentive to craft outside safe zones. We need a functioning one that keeps people interested. Same as above, being a trader is simply what someone does on an alt these days. ------------- Give people a reason to return to the game and stick around. FIX THE GAME SO CASUAL PLAYERS WANT TO PLAY IT. Once population numbers increase, solo PVP will magically fix itself. And by solo PVP I'm not talking about ganking around hot spots or capitals, but a lone frigate out there hunting traders in corners of the map.
  17. Maybe you’ll bring back using an alt to tag us in the safe zone again.
  18. We have traffic at ctown daily. Not much changes with the loss of San Mateo, other than it’s another port you gotta pay for.
  19. You’re quite oblivious to humor aren’t you? Every port the US has lost in the week was due to dumb timer screwups by incompetent clans. 2 during mid day and one of course late last night. Up until that point we had been gaining ports. At least we still have the safe zone....
  20. Yea that’s not fishy at all..
  21. You presume I wanted fights back then. And remember late nights were 9pm EST and 00 server. We'll be going prussia soon though, you can help us fight kingy at night. You're welcome to do whatever you wish, but then again you just made a post a couple days ago about not getting fights. See my point?
  22. Like I said. Have fun around ctown. We’ll be elsewhere. Off to work! Not everyone can live off church donations you now. Later bud!
  23. That’s fine. It’s not like you couldn’t do that already. Watching you be a hypocrite again on the forums is worth it. Now everyone knows. Mr “we just want fights” .... flips ports at 3 am. You should of learned by now that I don’t care about ports and if your gonna be up ganking around ctown every night that opens up the patrol zones and Frenchie ganking down south. So thanks!
