Technically Captain Cid messaged first, but I basically said, "You tired of this yet? Cuz I am." Maybe we'll work something out, maybe not. It's up to banished and his little fatwa I suppose. Regardless I'm tired of fighting Prussians and would like to move on to other things. Was a relatively easy battle and we definitely had some inexperienced captains on our side. I think a couple guys had their first PB ever in there. Pirates stayed together well, focused fired and didn't split off on their own...which the prussians did and died for it. Good on Prussia for coming out both nights. I like getting marks in bulk rather than hustling for it on the east coast 1 herc at a time.

Perhaps a crucial port of as much importance as you say....that close... to your capital should have had a timer. It was also fully defended by Spain and the reason for taking that port was due to Spain interfering with a Pirate port battle during US prime time where members of 7up and various other clans decided to stay up late to screen us out against another nation. Clearly you had the chops to get players to do that, but not attempt to re-take Key West. Jag’s arrogance lost you Key West.

Little Harbor, Nassau, Carta, Santa Domingo, Orangjestad, Hat Island + a few others.....all made more money than La Navasse yesterday all with EU timers on them. Why not go after those? Out of 200+ ports in the game, maybe 20-25 of them have evening timers on them. That's what...10-20% MAX? Surely there is enough content that could be created to those who are willing. Typical Graf though, when you start losing you just quit and hop on the forums and blame mechanics and Americans. This is a game still in testing. Why people even give a shit about ports astonishes me. As witnessed prior to the split of the servers and prior to the merge, neither sever was able to sustain a population long enough to keep players interested indefinitely. Hence reasons for the merge. Last night both the EU Prussians and GB ground up 2 ports they wanted against US time zoned players and will have battles tonight. Both of them managed to muster 15+ guys to do it. In the case of the Prussians, they had heavy losses but still managed to accomplish flipping. When Reverse and BF wanted to take back the secret islands away from the french during US prime they stayed up and got the job done. Maybe we'll win tonight, maybe not. The content is most welcomed. What's your excuse?

Everyone multi flips....everyone attacks at times less advantageous to their enemy. It's a war game...get over it.

I'm pretty sure the historical mindset went out the window when Nations like Russia, Prussia and Poland were introduced as powers in the Caribbean. Or maybe Sweden and Denmark being major powers didn't tip you off to the not quite so accurate history this game uses? and besides, If we're being truly historically accurate here... Russia was on the opposite side of France (and Spain) most of the time during the Coalition wars. Yet you allied with them in game? How dare you! I think it's safe to say this is a Historically themed Age of Sail online role playing game. Players are free to play where and when they choose.

I dunno about that. The Brits in NA are many things, but I would definitely not discount their ability to snap up empty/garbage ports just to see their flag on those little dots. Rule, Britannia! They've surpassed even Spain in this...which is hard to do. Regardless, it's good seeing GB back in the gulf again.

But we don't make offers right? Wait, pirates do make offers then? Which lie to believe? How easily you fail to tell the truth young sruPL. Good thing I've only ever claimed I speak for 2 clans only, and not the entire nation... as referenced below. This incessant back and forth, constant lies and your childishness bore me. Carry on. Let me know should you choose to talk.

Curious ship comp used by the US.

How devilishly you lie my young sruPL. You've been approached several times by the Pirates. In fact I've seen you making fun of those attempts in various chats. And you were also approached by France acting as intermediary, which I'm told you had agreed to the terms but then, as you always do, blamed the rest of prussia for not agreeing. Or something like. It's so very difficult to keep track of all your little lies. 😕 I hear it's WAR?

Possible Alt tagging in the Safe Zone
Christendom replied to Christendom's topic in Tribunal - Трибунал
Quite possible. We shall see, though Ink seems to be behind on a few of these. Precisely why this smells a bit. -
is this NA or xbox live?
-
The PB layout of that one looks like an insanely fun battle. Shame.

So this happened this afternoon, posting on behalf of Privateer. Player - Barberousse was tagged inside the safe zone around Mortimer. He took a couple of broadsides to make it look legit (paraphrasing here) and then left without calling reinforcements. From what I gather, only the player who is tagged can call them in a battle. My spidey senses here are tingling a bit....something smells. Worth an investigation I think. It is of course entirely possible that he is just a noob under crewing a frigate...but..

SNOW picked up a couple of useless ports under cuba there. Just saying 🙂 though I hope Cochinos was defended, that looks like a dope port battle layout.

Rax, Hartz and Hardy all in GB? God help you. RIP nation chat.

Pusscake? -
Sounds about right. How quickly they adapt to Spanish ways.

Did Spain show up to defend Tampa?

Taking up the most room in Hardy’s headspace is a title I’ll fight you for. Think they’ll move back to GB now?
-
Pretty sure he hates me the most.

Alts in RVR are allowed as long as they are not used to farm hostility. Aka you can’t sink your alt for hostility generation. That’s about it. I’ve dual or triple boxed on a number of battles and/or hostility generation. Fact of the matter is that clan friend lists were implemented to prevent this very thing. It sucks it happened but greater control over the clan should have been exercised. Many a battle has been screwed over by inactive clans not being able to get others on the list.

Did you just "the dude" me? My point in bringing this up is, will this UI make sense to a new player? Does it have that blend of simplicity/functionality that will easily allow new players to get a good grasp of the concept and head right out and sail? I'm not so sure. At the very least a "UI tutorial" is needed I think to get the player from the steam store to the sailing tutorial. You need a NA version of this guy... -

Reducing clicks doesn't necessarily make the crafting system more immersive. I'd prefer a more complex and interesting system with specializations of some sort.
