  1. Quick suggestion regarding Equipment Pre-Sets Would be nice to have Equipment Pre-Sets to choose from. A quick click on a button, chose the ship and pre-set (skillbooks, guns, repairs, modules). If everything for the Pre-Set is ready, it should be in a green text and you can apply it. If not everything is ready (not enough repairs / don't have the upgrades / ...) it's in a red text. Maybe a total amount of 20 pre-set settings, shouldnt take up too much server capacity (though I don't really have much of an idea) Benefits: No more time wasting of equipping a ship. Equipping guns, chosing skillbooks again, splitting and drag-n-dropping repairs, equipping modules is kinda pointless and could be sped up. Similar example of how War Thunder did it - Pre-Sets of planes equipped
  2. The opinion of sandbox lovers on patrol zones:
  3. Afaik they planned name change to be a seperate dlc But yeah should be included in the $20 forged papers
  4. Rename current pirate nation to Republic of Pirates (of Nassau) Add a Nation called Pirates (or something similar) Settings: No Reinforcment zone Can attack any other players of the faction Cannot capture ports Can buy crafting materials and / or ships for gold / pvp marks "Pirate Den" access in every freeport Let average joe play "Pirate" in the Republic of Pirates faction for an hour after work sinking npcs, if that's what he wants to do. BUT there should be a "real" privateer faction not giving any shits about anything. Another suggestion then would be the ability of other nations to put up Real-Time bounties on a seperate chat / in port which players of the privateer / "real" pirate nation go after. Example: French Chef d'Escarde puts up a note: British Frigate spotted at Camp du Roy, needs eliminating. 500k reward. Basically anything to make Naval Action's life more interesting for the privateer oriented players.
  5. As far as I know: Nassau: Shallow La Mona: Max. 4th rates Aves, La Tortue, Tumbado - no restrictions
  6. Probably somewhen in summer : - )
  7. Thats not how it works In switzerland even for the natioal vote about the new financial regulation where 84+% voted yes, the government recommended to vote yes - feedback is important, even if it is "too" obvious
  8. Not all but if its obvious that something is broken (93% of 72 players voted for a change), id say yes.
  9. What about this thread where 93% of a total of 72 voters agreed that patrol zones RoE need adjustment to make them less of a gank fest? The thread has been up for over a month now and no response.
  10. Wait for the "it's not a bug, it's a feature"

    WTT for Trinco

Lol I have 60k at the moment, part of the reason Im not playing at the mo. Even to sell my pvp marks I need to pay a stupid amount of tax, which I dont have and cant really be arsed to grind pve.
  12. IMO requirement should be to take part in several aspects of the game rather than one, and provide constructive feedback Why? Example: An "only solo PvP" player can tell a more RvR oriented player 1000 times that revengefleets (even close to reinforcment zones) are BS. The RvR player wont change his opinion that the need to protect home waters in terms of revenge fleets is just and has higher priority. Thus they will never get to an agreeing point. Moreover they should not be too easily triggerable and keep calm in rough situations. Now that I think about it, its pretty hard to match all these requirements - I don't. Suggest @rediii
  13. I have 5 accounts, and with that suggestion I could have them spread on good ressource ports, tab between them to snipe all ressources cheap The idea of contracts is not bad, it just doesnt work yet - with the low amount of players and existence of euro traders
  14. When I put up the bounty, the condition was "at least even BR", which yours wasn't - However in the next cases bounties got paid even though the conditions were not met. So I can pay yours too, message me ingame.
  15. Agree with that, if you are in a battle you are in a battle, but clearly if you're faster (say fir), and manage to get away, well, you got away, right? The only fair consequence then would be to actually get away (in terms of a speedboost and invisibility in OW after leaving battle) ; not get surrounded by a fleet of 10+ ships camping your battle position, profiting from an *unfair* Speedboost from open world..? Why only let the ones camping a battle to take revenge profit from the OW speed boost compared to battle? Don't think that's *fair*.
  16. Why does it need to be fair? It's an MMO, we got the two dimensions, OW and Battle instances. Why do so many feel like they MUST be able to take revenge, even if they sailed across half the map and thus should have never even been able to get to the fight? PvP in an MMO is never fair (or rarely). The need to take revenge is arcadey. 3 min join timer = ships in range can join a battle. The difference between distance covered in OW and Battle in 3 minutes is insane. Besides, I think with current reinforcment zones (and their forever open battles), the revenge fleet got transformed into instant-support. Inside the reinforcment zones around capitals it might be somewhat acceptable that you can join a fight 50 minutes into it. Imagine the distance you can cover during it! But anywhere else on the map, the general rule should be: You get what you see. Thus the 3 minute join timer.
  17. ahh should have figured.. hehe gg in that battle, can see you've been sailing the trinc for a bit
  18. Because for that exact reason. They were not within 3 minutes range, thus realistically not in range (OW - instance difference). When a MMo uses another instance (with way lower travelling speed than OW) to have its battles in, special rules are needed
  19. So you're saying that Nelson (or whoever took command after nelsons death) should have expected a second wave appearing out of nowhere after trafalgar...? The whole reason we got a 3 minute join timer (in battles outside reinforcment zones and patrol zones) is to simulate that only the captains in range should be allowed to join. In 3 minutes, the distance you cover in OW is not comparable to Battle Instances. We got this issue due to the existence of the two dimensions, battle instances and incredibly sped up OW. There is no perfect fix, indeed. But having to fight for several hours in a row (tac was talking about 4-6 hours) just because the fact that fast OW travel speeds allow infinite backup will probably have a negative effect on RvR motivation. On workdays the average player just doesnt have 5 hours after work to participate in a PB.
  20. isnt that a good thing though? I mean, if you're in battle in the reinforcment zones, the ones attacked dont even have to wait for the "revenge fleet"; the revenge fleet can just join the battle as it is open all the time IMO the reinforcment zones are a decent indicator of the range where backup / "revenge fleets" are acceptable. Anything further away, clearly too far away from islands, should NOT get backup in terms of revenge fleets. You see what you get, thus the 3 minute join timer outside reinforcment zones which simulates that you cannot just warp across the map and join a battle (instance and OW speed differences) But I begin to feel like im the only one left with that thinking *Must... Take.. Revenge....*
  21. While I disagree with your opinion that forever open battles serve for a "healthy" game experience, they do still exist. Battles in reinforcment zones are open all the time, 90 min. Jamaica has had some action since that change. Maybe you should change to brits and keep nation chat open and join battles that are called out. Second option are patrol zone battles. The patrol zones change daily, battes are open for 30 minutes. Sounds like exactly what you are asking for. But I think it doesnt take a genius to realize that battles open for half an hour (the distance you can cover in OW in that time !!) without any BR restrictions dont work. Gank or get ganked. Thus there was an idea to first let those battles be open for a few minutes without limits, and after that have a 1.5x BR limit, so that players can join both sides while keeping it balanced and enjoyable. But no answer yet from dev. Side.
  22. The thing is, they already were protector / owner of the port and then would have gotten the marks on their alt brit accounts anyway. Farming IMO is creating marks from scratch, where you wouldnt have gotten them in any way (e.g. cap francais, when you had to sink ships for marks)
  23. I probably dont know enough to comment (and shouldnt do it anyway on a tribunal), but in general what would be the difference to a situation where accused players didnt have an alt account, just stayed in brits (being owner of the ports) with the main account and the removing friendly clans so their new home nation players can just take the port? Port owners should be given more tools to transfer ownership for occasions like this one. I cannot really see a wrongdoing, as the port belonged to them.
