  1. Belle Poules hugging 1st rates in the old ship mechanics 2 or 3 changes ago I suppose. I guess "good fight" is in the eye of the beholder. I retract my objection. Some players enjoy ganking more.
  2. Do you see that fight posted somewhere in this topic? Because I don't. And it wouldn't belong here either.
  3. 14 vs 6 5600BR vs 3450BR Wrong topic mate.
  4. Let's agree on a time and we can tell the screeners to make sure you are all able to enter. Would Spain even come if you asked?
  5. What fear? The same fear I have of being trampled by sheep? If all you've got is superior numbers, why not fight you where your numbers are 25 same as us? If you want OW fights, go camp a capital or something. If all you seek is ganks, don't be surprised that your target is taking measures to counter that. We like PBs. Thus our goal was to generate a PB. We accomplished that. It's hard to motivate people for grinding, but for the PB we had 25.
  6. Wait...You mean a loosing fleet? Not sure we can mate. But sure, we can put 25 RDNN in 1st rates and call it a fleet. But why? When we prefer to cooperate with our friends from other clans.
  7. Wait? Did you even learn how to count? Where I come from this is 6 danish ships: And you wanted to gank in 20 1st rates vs 18 lesser ships and wonder why we didn't go for that. We rather fight in PBs where both sides start equal. And we demonstrated very clearly that grinding hostility in 1st rates is neither really effective nor safe. We don't share your interest in ganking, and neither do we have the numbers when we are fighting so far from our capital and you are fighting so close to yours. I understand why you prefer to gank us rather than allow us to fight you in even port battles, but you should also be able to understand why we prefer the latter. And we have no desire to match you clan for clan. Your clan doesn't seem all that fun to be frank. Good on you for collecting 160 disney pirates in one clan though. However we prefer to fight and live and learn together with our brothers in RUS.
  8. You keep bringing up Macao. It's a year ago. I guess you need a long memory when the short-term is so bleak. Who cares who won or who was best a year ago? A few months earlier our fleet was in the process of being built and grinding ourselves in an uphill battle against SLRN. By your standards the Brits have as great a claim to be the best as SORRY does, because the SLRN fleet was an almost impossible nut to crack a year and a half ago right after Steam Early Access opened. The Danish RvR-fleet cracked that nut at Ponce and Aves, and we cracked the SORRY nut at Cap Francais the other day, though you were never as formidable an opponent as the SLRN once was. I rank the victories at Ponce and Aves against SLRN far above the victory at Cap Francais. At Aves we slayed titans, at Cap Francais we merely proved a point that was already well established. And if we analyse your "great victory" at Macao, just for the fun of it. All of RUS core and most of RDNN was on hiatus back then. I was on vacation myself. I guess you dared to attack us only because your spies informed you that there was no real fleet to defend. If you're going to count your one "defeat" of us-in-absentia, then the entire history of SORRY needs to be rewritten. Didn't you get one-ported by Sweden back right around that time? We can't recall our fleet to the game in the span of the hour that a flag was active. When we did go the rounds on Steam and got a decent size group back you no longer showed any interest in fighting us. As many have pointed out, you attack only when victory is easy and certain, like you're openly planning to do now against USA (no offence to USA players, but they're sadly not numerous enough). We attack when our enemy is strongest and the challenge the greatest. That is why we attacked a faction now that has the ability to field a full 1st rate fleet, and not Britain or anyone else like you did before they had a proper fleet built. Way back long before the wipe happened we approached you and asked you when would be the best time for you, so we could arrange a meet at Cap Francais. You never really got back to us about that, and shortly after you joined Brits and then infamously lost to the Danish fleet at Castries even though half our lineup was rookies and we even brought a US spy along in our fleet (what still cracks me up about that battle is how the guy that amplify boarded, and who then subsequently blew you guys up was actually a US plant - in a proper ship, so no complaints here mind you - and a clan-mate of amplify in 7UP, must have been a pretty sore point). Ships have no value beyond the fighting you can do in them. Same with ports. We would be happy even if our 1st rates were single use. Danes are still considered rookies until they lost at least a handful of 1st rates. We need to train people not to be so attached to their ship pixels, or they might hesitate when it counts in a real fight. Better to all go down shooting in a PB than to retreat to save ones ships. The ships would be dishonoured anyway. I've previously considered a policy where any captain who retreated his ship from a PB defeat would have to hand his ship in for it to be broken up by the admiralty and turned into nails and toothpicks. 150 marks per day? Lol. We calculate with 1/3 of marks lost to randoms and AFK-players and we still get more after adjusting for that. Not that it really matters. We didn't require time to recoup our losses. We already had the backup ships at hand ready to put into action. We needed the time to motivate again players whose interest dropped after the screening exploits we were subjected to on our first attempt at getting a Cap Francais battle. Besides, everyone knows by now Danes don't like to grind. If bragging about ganks is what you need to sleep at night after loosing even fights, be my guest. I for one am not bothered by loosing a few ships in a 14 vs 6 against almost twice our BR, where we only really got in trouble after I disconnected for 5 minutes in the middle of your fleet.
  9. As a Norwegian I can confirm that the Danish language version of the text in the OP is obvious google translate. Although my confirmation is not necessary, just put the english language text at the bottom into Google Translate and it produces the exact text above. OP is obviously not a dane IRL and the effort to appear so is either suggestive of role-play or something else..
  10. Hi, Thanks for your time and effort. But I don't think you find a lot of RDNN active in the SORRY-topic currently. And regarding reports, as far as I know the only posts that have been reported here have been clear violations of specific forum rules. I don't mind Lord Vicious or anyone else posting here. We welcome the attention, and the discussion. A lot of posts just got hidden here, feel free to unhide most of them (if it's not too much work - in that case I'll just make this clarification for next time). The only thing I know that has been reported is slanderous accusations of exploits or cheating, made without any sort of proof or justification. To my knowledge this is against the rules of the forum set out by the admiralty here: As such reporting it has nothing to do with where it was posted, and only to do with the offence. Nobody who likes to play a game enjoys being falsely slandered and labelled a cheater by sore losers.
  11. The albeit limited contingent of RDNN currently active on the Global server will follow CCCP.
  12. Maybe tag @Liquicity, so he sees this appended finger pointing and can defend himself. Your calculations are erroneous. Danes RvR fleet benefit nothing from this. We have more interest in the fights than in the port. We would rather loose a fair fight if we can get it than win an unfair one. We are not afraid to loose fights or loose ships. Our reputation or self worth does not rest on the outcome of one fight. Our reputation comes not from winning every PB, far from it, but from seeking hard challenges rather than easy ones and from being persistent in pursuing our goals. On the other hand your reputation and self worth is built solely on supposedly winning every PB - until now - by seeking only fights that you know beforehand you will win. By that the benefit is much greater to you. So Occam's Razor right back at you. Don't run with scissors, you might accidentally fall and cut yourself. Is this a tribunal post or your alibi for loosing? What has this got to do with the tribunal? If you must know, yeah, we got "ganked" a few times in OW, I disconnected due to a power outage and got back in 5 minutes later to a half dead ship. We've built our full 1st rate fleet a few times over since then. We write off the lineships lost in OW as wear and tear. Despite the losses, the disconnect and a few mistakes better viewed in hindsight it got us some interesting fights, no matter the outcomes. In the PB they don't count. There it's 25vs25 - or in this case 24vs24.
  13. Unlike being unsporting or ungentlemanly (or simply - pirate), whatever you want to call dron441 for not letting your friend move over to Pirates in peace and keeping all his stuff, green-on-green is actually illegal by the game rules. dron441 is in the right here. He was simply engaging in piracy. Green on green as you did is strictly forbidden. And there are no mitigating factors. Probably, because this was done in the heat of a situation you will only receive a warning for this if you haven't received any before.
  14. From what do you deduce any eagerness on my part? Again, you have presented no proof to support that it is even an alt, only conjecture. My eagerness is only to have devs investigate and clear us of these false charges yet again coming from you. We have nothing to hide. The Danish RvR-fleet is the only fleet which has consistently for over a year recorded and published with teamspeak audio intact near every contested PB we have taken part in. We don't require secrecy or deception. We don't hide our tactics or our strategy. We have nothing to gain from cheapening our own victories with this sort of thing. If this happens to be sabotage of the Cap Francais PB, then it is sabotage as much against us as it is against you. While we're throwing out conjecture here: I speculated a couple of weeks ago that you'd bring a low level ship to your next PBs, just so you could maintain that you'd never lost with a full SORRY fleet. I'd like that angle investigated as well.
  15. Any evidence at all to suggest that it is actually an alt? There is nothing "blatant" about this case at all. The account was created all the way back in March 2016 and has Devil rank. Nobody in the Danish RvR fleet has any connection to this account. It looks like someone trying to gain conquest marks, but if it is indeed someone trying to sabotage a PB then I hope the account is banned permanently and anyone with a proven direct link to it should receive punishment as well. At least the frigate didn't have any effect on the battle outcome. Our fleet had a disconnect whose ship escaped before the engagement even started, so the numbers were evened out. Still, I second the call for devs to investigate the account in question.
  16. I think you joined the wrong faction if you expect your compatriots to be polite, fair or respect your property:
  17. This seems silly if the rule is applied so strictly and generally. As long as you use your alt as if it was any normal player and don't ever sink your own alt in a fake PvP battle there should be no problem. I frequently use my own (same-nation-)alt as escort while grinding hostility. Sometimes even getting more hostility points on my alt than on my main account. By this strict interpretation of the rules that would be illegal. If my alt has an outpost where we are operating and my main doesn't I may use my alt for the grinding and the port battle instead of moving my main. I am then playing with it is exactly as if it was my main and not doing anything abnormal or tricky. I don't why this should be illegal. When your alt is in another nation things become a bit more complicated and grey areas may appear. But as long as your alt never encounter your main or any of your friends' main characters I'm not convinced it should be illegal. With the system we had where CMs were acquired directly from port battles I could see the problem even in that, but with the pension system I don't think there should be a problem.
  18. This "spirit of the agreement" crap cracks me up every time. LOL. It is only a way for poor negotiators to rewrite an agreement after it has been signed.
  19. You should not believe all you read in in-game chats. This just reminds me of the LV/OCEAN joke screenshot that circulated and was put in tribunal at least a couple of times.
  20. To the topic at hand: Doing PvE is not an exploit. However, engaging in PvE as it is described here with the specific intention to prevent hostility grinding by others is not something that can be considered fair gameplay and as such I do not condone it if the accusations are true. There is a mechanics issue to this topic which admin has addressed, and which is probably best discussed in a separate topic and a different subforum. However to the accusation of dragging fleets with basic cutters, RDNN-players have been instructed not to repeat such low tactics in the future. Basic cutters should be used solely for travelling, scouting and killing NPC-LGVs.
  21. My own video recording of the events was corrupted unfortunately, but I have obtained from another clan-member a recording showing the offending actions in question. I have cut it down to the most relevant parts. The full recording can be obtained by the tribunal officials on request. The recording shows that the sea was almost empty of pirate screeners after Danish and Swedish screeners had done their job very effectively. There were barely any pirates on the sea when we approached and they were all in small ships with no way of tagging our fleet under the new tagging rules. The video also shows that at the moment the battle started our fleet was huddled up in a very close group, with everyone inside the tag circle, but because battles are now apparently capped at 25 ships on either side, some of our 1st rates were left defenceless outside while pirate alt cutters and lynxes and fleets were dragged into the battle. This part is a ROE mechanics issue (something really needs to be done about this), but an issue we were well aware of and had taken measures to avoid by not having our own frigates or other screeners sail with the 25-player port battle fleet. The video also shows the account Saddam with a danish flag and in a basic cutter shooting at Danish ships, tagging them with chain and raking with ball, while ignoring and being ignored by the enemy frigates in the battle although sailing right past them. Saddam also posts in battle chat to troll after being confronted with the fact that he is doing green-on-green. Edit: Edited out rule breaking parts. - Moderating Team
  22. In today's port battle for Cap Francis, pirates exploited to avoid a 25vs25 PB and win the defence without contest. The following pirate alts were involved in the exploiting: [CRT]GriezMann Saddam [FUHRE]Sir Sepp Stuart The accounts GriezMann, Saddam and Sir Sepp Stuart sailed with our PB fleet in Lynxes and basic cutters. GriezMann tagged a small fleet of pirate frigates to drag our PB fleet into battle just 10 seconds after the PB started, while we were 500 meters from the edge of the joining area and waiting for the 2 minutes to pass in order to ensure that all our players would get in. There was no pirate screening fleet in the vicinity that would be anywhere near enough to drag our fleet into battle. Inside the PB the pirates had less 25 1st rates. This was clearly an intentional action to prevent the PB from happening. The use of lynxes to tag also meant that some of the 25 slots in the battle we were dragged into was taken by the 3 exploiting players and their fleet. Meaning that some of our L'Oceans that were inside the pull circle were not dragged into battle and were left outside as easy pray alone for other pirates screeners to capture. Inside of the battle we were pulled into, Sir Sepp Stuart and GriezMann quickly left, while Saddam stayed in the battle to do Green on Green at our 1st rates to keep them tagged. In the end we had to sink his basic cutter to get out of there. By the time we were all able to leave the battle the port battle was already over at 850+ points. Several F11 reports were made from the battle and can be checked. Several chat violation reports were also made from within the port battle. Screenshot: From the PB: If stuff like this is not dealt with, RvR is pointless. A 25 ship PB rate fleet should not be possible to split up like this. When sailing together like we did they should either all be dragged or none. And alts should not be allowed to drag PB fleets into battle to grief them like this. Because of this the port was defended without a single shot fired in the PB, even though the defending fleet would have been outnumbered severely. We request that the Danish 1st rates that were lost outside the PB because of this griefing and exploiting are returned to their rightful owners, and that at the very least, invulnerability is removed from the region or the region is turned over as rightful spoils. The offending alts should be banned, and anyone connected to them should have their steam accounts banned as well. Clearly, demotion to first rank is not harsh enough of a punishment to act as a deterrent.
  23. It's the same thing that happens if you convert fish meat and then merge 2 stacks before the numbers update.
  24. I do not in any way see this case as a matter for the tribunal. However it is neither beautiful nor immersive, when PvP has been made so expensive, to have absolutely free ships involved in it. Had it been actual cutters, that you buy or craft and put cannons on, then I could have seen the beauty of the action, but the basic cutter spam is detrimental to the game and to PvP, and I thought the recent changes to them were made in recognition of this fact.
  25. To be clear. There is no greater desire to me in this game, than to fight against Brits. But I want to sink (or capture) HMS Victory, not HMS Basic Cutter or HMS Cerberus.
